As a 68 year old guy with stage 4 prostrate cancer, type 1+2 diabetes , osteoporosis, and spinal problems There is better way. Manage your health as best you can, eat well, exercise in a way that makes you feel better and make peace with eternity and relax.

Now I feel even more lucky. In 1997 I was diagnosed at the age 49 with prostate cancer (Gleason 6) that per MRI resided close to the margin of 1/2 of my prostate. My urologist, Dr. Mitchell Benson, advised me to proceed with androgen deprivation (Zoladex) to be followed by a radical prostatectomy. During the androgen deprivation "period" I suffered from all of the effects Dr. Wassersug alluded to. I was fortunate enough to have a positive surgical result and to this day have undetectable PSA levels. My heart goes out to all of you who have little in the way of alternatives to hormone therapy.

There has to be a better way
