Age of Empires, Warcraft 3, Empire Earth, and Stronghold have immensely strong similarities in gameplay style. There are to some extent small differences between them, however core gameplay remains similar meaning if a person enjoy playing one of these sorts of strategy games there's a strong possibility that they'll enjoy all of them. I haven't played every game in every series, i played most of Age of Empires series and Stronghold series but i'm assuming Warcraft and Empire Earth series remained the same or not? In Warcraft 3 and Age of Empires 1 the UI or HUD is big which is annoying because it takes up almost half the damn screen, however in Age of Empires Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition you are able to adjust the size of the UI which is brilliantly magnificent. Empire Earth and Stronghold which is first in the series has a small UI which is superb they definitely did it the proper way at it's commencement seeing those games are the first games in the franchise. In Empire Earth while a citizen is busy building a structure you slowly see the structure becoming larger and larger raising upwards until completion which is cool, in Age of empires and Warcraft 3 the foundation is laid the villagers built it, in Stronghold you simply place a building on the map there is no villager which construct buildings, that's why i say there's differences between all the aforementioned games, yet they are akin to each other. The first stronghold doesn't have skirmish mode but it was added in stronghold Crusader it's splendid. I enjoy all of these excellently superlative PC strategy video games.

Well, you tried to follow every possible strategy, so at the very end the adversaries fell to your superior technology. But have to say, however, that you might lack the basics, but your hearth carried you to victory! I have felt the passion of your mouse clicking around! XD
A few critiques right out the gate, that you need to work on. 1st, try not to harvest from more than 1 sheep at a time. Second, you can just right click to reset gather point with your TC, you don't need to use the button for it. It's good that you're scouting with your sheep, but definitely work on that really early eco setup.

They could have left original Age of Empires as it was while adding increased population caps 500 to 1000 units in random maps, death match and other game modes against enemy computer artificial intelligence and also adding new civilizations therewith consisting of large variety of villagers with various physical appearances, diverse military units of more variety in physical appearance and variation in building style architecture with plenteous vast varied technologies to research, such improvements would be comprised of outstanding wonderful exquisite splendorousness, however as i say the Definitive Edition of Age of Empires has completely improved overhauled graphics consisting of superb new animations, i shall hereby mention a few such as for example ways in which buildings collapse after being destroyed or being able to walk over farms instead of them functioning similar to buildings which thereto leads units getting stuck in a particular spot lol, the whole walking over farms mechanic idea was introduced first in original Age of Empires 2: The Age of Kings which was released in year 1999 and also The Conquerors expansion released in year 2000 which continues gameplay brilliance of The Age of Kings. Let me mention it again the population caps should be increased 500 to 1000 units against enemy artificial intelligence in both Age of Empires 1 and Age of Empires 2, that option should exist thereby leading to creation of astronomical armies causing absolute utter chaos in it's totality whereby every civilization wreak havoc on each other. Cheats is something i never use while playing Age of Empires series of games, employing cheats in video games removes fun out of it.

Idk why green quit I thought they were controlling the game. The tide was starting to turn at the end. Maybe their economy sucked and they used all their resources, but they were controlling the field the whole time

It was the HD edition on Steam. There is now a better one called "Age of Empires 2 DE"(definitive edition) on steam. More civs added and better graphics.
I know I have high standards to what I expect, so to give you some credit, probably not all of the 364.XXX agree with me. However, if you want even more thumbs ups, increase your skills abit and maybe add commentary (voice) where you explain tactics, timings etc. and I think your audience would be bigger and more appreciative.

Empire earth was weird. You had full age advancement, resource sites limited to 6 gatherers, and the same units for everyone but chosen bonuses.

It was the HD edition on Steam. There is now a better one called "Age of Empires 2 DE"(definitive edition) on steam. More civs added and better graphics.

I know I have high standards to what I expect, so to give you some credit, probably not all of the 364.XXX agree with me. However, if you want even more thumbs ups, increase your skills abit and maybe add commentary (voice) where you explain tactics, timings etc. and I think your audience would be bigger and more appreciative.
