The reason the zombies wouldn't kill Jerome is that there programing won't let them kill an opponent in 1 turn so if someone has 2 areas they can kill 1 but not the other until next turn
You know what i'm gonna torture myself by calculating how many units each player killed on their attack turn.

I love it whenever you guys play risk, these are some of my favorite kinds of videos
Every time they play this game, it goes exactly the same way: They squabble while saying that "hey, we shouldn't squabble (except you should give me what I want" until they're forced to work together because the zombies get too strong, something they KNEW was gonna happen... It's basically real world politics.
They need territory bonuses to fight off the zombies, that's the only reason they ask for the territory bonuses.

Also, I’ve tried the Zombie mode and it’s very overwhelming if the zombies get a good start and nobody bothers to deal with them. Also, save the last zombie for last, as terrible things will happen if you eliminate them early on!

FYI even with there numbers, they won't attack you unless they have a few more troops than the place they want to take, on expert the margin is very small, but with this in mind, keeping a majority of your troops on the same territory might save those troops if it's more than the zombies number
At one point they are going to have to play until someone wins last man standing against the zombie.
I think the zombie is programmed to not kill the person with 1 territory
Because it happened to me and my friends 2 of us had 1 territory in the zombies pit

you're supposed to wipe out the zombies then each other because the zombies are a greater threat since they gain bonus warriors when you fight amongst each other.
