Using a Seat Lift Assist Manipulator | Givens Engineering

Industrial manipulators, or lift assists, allow an operator to easily maneuver heavy parts during assembly. Working as an extension of the operator’s hands, the M35 manipulator shown here is equipped with a custom-designed end-effector. This allows the operator to easily lift, grip, tilt, and maneuver the seat within the workspace.
