Hey Chris. I LOVE my TR. I'd strongly recommend getting a TR 3 series. After 5 years in a different wheelchair a guy recommended the TiLite TR to me. I tried his and loved it, so I purchased my own. It literally changed my life. It was like wearing heavy wooded clogs, then someone offers you bland new lightweight Nike shox.
Hey Chris, great video, and yes Florida is like a sauna. I have a tilite aero z version 2 and I love it. Im due for a new chair and am hoping to get another tilite, maybe an aero T this time.
I have a zra and I wanted to change the back but it is not like you. I got 2 straps , 2 flaps and the back upholstery. I have no idea how to fix those straps as they are short and can't figure out how to connect them . Do you know how?? I am not sure I got the right description.. Any help would be great
I am thinking of getting a TiLite wheelchair since I can't push a normal manual chair they tire me out. I am hoping I can avoid a TDX-SP powerchair which costs about $1500. more then the TiLite but I would need a van to carry the wheelchair instead of a car. I am hoping a TiLite will be good enough and I won't have to go for a power chair. I just hope it will be light enough that I can push it. I have M.S.
Many thanks Jacob. I'm trying to swap out a ZRA velcro back to a 2GX, and this helped me, even though they are all different TiLites. I really like your website HowiRolldotcom, and hope to get some time soon to read it more. Hope you like that new seat back. Actually, you had me very jealous sweating it out. It's below freezing here now!
Hi, I'm not that strong and I also am right handed but, I can not get the one handed wheelchair because I'm soon getting my new power wheelchair and also, the powerchair stops working often. I hate missing school or having to stay in bed when that happens. Now I'm in bed and my power chair's taken to be fixed. My back hurts a lot and I can not get around. I wanted to know if that type's easy to push and is it stapled or will it flip on me? If you've any INFO please let me know.
@daniel0vrajmas I have a pair of braces, but choose not to use them on a daily basis. They are very tough to use at long distances. They aren't practical for me.
@joelyboyblue I tried to contact the guy who measured this chair but he isn't getting back to me. Sorry. I can tell you that it's a Tilite TR. They actually just came out with the newest TR model, which is sweet.
You can go to TiLite’s website and do a serial number lookup. It will give you all of the original ordered information along with when it was shipped out.
@knightsnewcastle Hey bro, I like the higher seat-back. It definitely allows me to relax more by not having to use my core as much. The downside is that I probably lounge more than I should, which will eventually make my core a bit weaker.
Cool video. I enjoyed how casual you are infall you videos. I find them all very informative as well. Does insurance help at all with the financing of the cushion or chair for that matter?
Hey man im new to your channel and fairly new to wheelchairs. I regretfully bought a quickie 7r and i thought i was getting a "ultra lightweight" chair but it weighs 38.4lbs😕😠. Ti lite is the obvious chair that I need. Please let me know how much your chair weighs if you know I am seriously curious. Please get back to me if you can thanks man.
+Joel Alvarez Remove the wheels and completely turn your wheelchair upside down. Then you'll find the Serial Number under the seat on the horizontal bar.
Thanks for checking out the website PitLarson. Let me know how your 2GX swap goes. Oh ya, sorry about the freezing cold! Some days its so hot here I swear I'd like to trade with you!

why don't you walk in braces if you have so much movement?

hey I'm about the same injury and size as you, I'm trying to setup a new chair, do you have quick measurements on yours?
what kind of backrest is that? i just ordered a tilite tra,but i went with the Jay 3 low back, because i didnt think there was anything lower than that
What's the name of your wheelchair. Thanks
How u move ur legs if ur in a wheelchair
He may be an incomplete injury (like me) so has some slight movement, it could also be involuntary spasms.
just because your disabled doesn't mean you can't move
Not everyone in a wheelchair is a paraplegic. Ambulatory users exist and are just as valid.
hey bro, few months on how you liking the higher backrest?
Are you coming back for a walk one day?
