I really love your using your own clothings to show your new season capsule wardrobe, instead of buying new clothings. We do not have to keep buying every year to make a capsule wardrobe.
I love your style. I like that you appreciate what you already have. You create beautiful outfit combinations instead of continuously shopping for new items.
Love to hear you talk about your clothes and in particular about loving them for a long time, very inspiring, it really cures my need buy new stuff all the time.
Lovely basics. One thing I would add is a couple of cardigans. I love a good pullover but a cardigan is handy as the temperature changes throughout the day in the autumn. As well, the older I get I find some days I need to cool off fast. If you know, you know.🥵 Hopefully you are feeling well and all set to welcome your new family addition. Exciting times! 😊
I have watched you for years. You always help me appreciate the clothes I love in my wardrobe. One staple for me is a sweatshirt. Wishing you much happiness with the addition to your family. ❤❤❤❤
Funny you should mention loving blue and feel that it suits you, I was just going to say how much I love that pale blue jumper on you. It’s very flattering on you.
Love all staples in this video. Jeans and trousers I find a bit tricky in the temperatures we are having right now (+5-10), cause it might be too cold with bare legs under trousers and too warm with underwear under the trousers, so I prefer tights and wool-blend midi skirts/dresses until it's a bit colder. Especially dresses I feel so easy to wear, that can't imagine my wardrobe without them.
I wear a dress or skirt outfit nearly everyday, year-round, they’re so much more comfy than trousers, especially jeans. I just wear a silk, long sleeved tee shirt underneath, and warm tights or socks, and tall boots when I go out.🙂
I really enjoy the outdoor footage of your outfits, which initially drew me to your channel. Feels like a more authentic reflection of our lives and good to see the outfits on the move! I am in the UK so your choices resonate with our weather although I would add a waterproof outer layer!
Hi Signe! Here in Brazil, in the autumn, it rains a lot, so my wardrobe staples are a pair of uncle boots, a trench coat, a cotton small t-shirt and a pair of jeans ❤
Signe, this came just in time for me! I am really trying to practice (because it's not always easy!!) just appreciating what I have when I open my closet, instead of just wanting more or different. It's fun, and it's not so hard after all...especially when I realize how much I have and actually don't utilize as much as I should! Thank you. You and Christina keep me inspired.💞💞
I always find your videos useful and enjoyable. I have a similar style but without the need for toddler-friendly outfits. I also love leather pants for texture and structure and now have two pairs I love - one secondhand pair from Joseph that are a soft black, slim and straight and easily dressed up, plus a new (!!) pair in a mid-tone grey from Remain Christian Berger that I realized were worth buying new, given my love for leather. I’m not sure people appreciate how versatile leather can be, but I get tons of compliments when I wear it. I guess I’m still a rock girl at heart!!
Great video. I love how you put outfits together. You may have already done this but I’d love to see how you keep all of your clothes looking fresh and new. BTW you look very healthy in your pregnancy!
Your house is looking beautiful by the way. Have been down a rabbit hole watching videos on other subjects so missed you. I have lots to catch up on now that I can think about my wardrobe again. x
Here we're swapping our winter wardrobes to summer. I don't need anything new. 😊 Totally agree with not making decisions to get rid of things too quickly during life changes. I made a big error of giving away all my suits when I swapped jobs. I've regretted that often since!
Great video, love seeing your staples! And your comment about not being in a rush to add new things just because the season changes is such a great reminder to me! I have a long wool coat on my wish list, I am hoping to thrift one with a higher wool content as it’s so hard to find one new that isn’t a fortune with the switch to more synthetics. So far I am having trouble finding it, but you have reminded me that it’s worth waiting for the right one, thank you Signe!
I’m not sure what your budget is, but Banana Republic and the House of Bruar (a Scottish brand) have beautiful all-wool, cashmere, or a blend of both, long coats for the $500-600 range. BR, at least, uses breathable rayon linings, not sweaty polyester, a huge bonus. I think this is fair price range for the high quality fabrics, construction and great styling. If it’s above your budget, maybe check for these brands secondhand? It is a lot up-front, I know, but they get worn so much, the cost per wear is tiny in the end.🙂
I’ve been switching out my summer wardrobe and bringing my winter wardrobe out of storage, but slowly, because I have a bad back. While I’m happy to see so many old favorites, I can’t help but think, why did I buy so much? My Victorian cottage doesn’t have closets, so I have three garment racks full already and some more bags to unpack still. Then, I have to steam everything! I really have to stop browsing brands, I already have a huge, beautiful, all natural-fiber fabric/material wardrobe*. I always get tempted when I see the new things my favorite brands are offering and willpower has never been my strongpoint. *Except for some pleated polyester skirts; skirts and dresses are essential in my wardrobe, I rarely wear trousers. I have skin allergies to plastics, so I buy silk when I can, but only Lily Silk offers them, in a polka dot pattern (I wear a silk petticoat under the poly ones). I bought both the white dot on black and black dot on white versions, I hope they offer solid, basic colors soon, too. I would love a burgundy, a khaki green and a navy!
I have a really soft long scarf that I love to wear in autumn. I carry it in my bag when I’m not wearing it because it is a nice car blanket for my legs when it is cold as well.
Yes agree on Jeans, definitely darker looks more dressy, winter white would also look very smart. Love my leather ones always look so smart they are very versatile. Signe you look amazing in your burgundy jumper with red lipstick looks beautiful on you 😊 Love your wardrobe style, so much thought has gone into it. Loved your vlog 😘
Your burgundy jumper is gorgeous. I have looked for a long time for one in a similar colour, preferably merino wool. However, I haven't found one in that gorgeous deep oxblood colour (yet). I love all of your pieces, Signe. I can't believe you're already in your final month of this pregnancy. Though I'm not sure you would think the time has passed quickly 😄 I was tiny (47kg) and was so big with my daughter (second pregnancy). Much smaller with my first pregnancy (my son), he was still well over 3kg. My daughter was just under 4kg. Her first baby (a boy) was 4.3kg! Take care, and thank you so much for another great video ❤
Hi Signe, I have a pair of Flattered ankle boots with a low heel that I wear all the time and a cheaper Zara pair with high heels which I can’t wear that much. I think that’s okay and they still can be part of my wardrobe staples, so I think you shouldn’t worry too much about the Aeyde boots. I also love sweaters and fully approve your list 😉😊 Have a nice weekend!
Light denim also gets dirty with rain, mud and snow -- and gets ruins very quickly, I find! So I tend to wear black bottoms in autumn/winter, should probably try dark blue though as you suggested 😊
Can we talk about this gorgeous burgundy sweater? ❤❤❤ I know people name burgundy as a trendy colour right now, but it's such a gorgeous one! I've had some of my burgundy clothes for more than half of my life now and wear them not only in autumn but also in winter and spring as well. Previously we used to call them bordo though 😂 It also suits most people as far as I can tell. ❤
I wish I could find a dark, chocolate brown suede jacket like yours, but the only ones I’ve seen (in the US) have fringe, which is not my style at all. It’s the only thing I want to add to my wardrobe right now, but it has to be the right one. My cold-weather basics are Merino/Cashmere dresses, or skirt and sweater outfits (I don’t wear trousers much, they’re uncomfortable). I wear tights with them and add long boots to go out. My climate is much milder than yours, so I wear my wool blazers as outerwear for now. But, by mid-December, it will be my long, wool coats. They are warm enough for conditions here in California, unless I go up into the mountains and snow. I love a tailored, very long wool coat. I like to wear fairly thin and lightweight outfits underneath because all public places are very overheated here, they can be 80F or more. I wouldn’t be able to stay in that excessive warmth in multiple layers. So, a fitted coat works well for me. (Most Californians think even 70F is “chilly”, but I like it cooler).
Hi Signe, a lovely video to watch, unfortunately I can’t wear wool so at this time of the year it can be a challenge to find cotton roll necks that are stylish, you are glowing and I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well xx
Try LLBean. They’re an American company and I have 3 of their chunky cotton knits - they have several designs. I’m in Canada and they finally started shipping here but they may ship beyond North America
Body, poster, feet size, style preference... Everything changes after pregnancy, weight fluctuates, so definitely good idea to postpone the boots selling decision to afterwards, so agree!
Love the outfits Signe, how do you wear white leather trainers with dark trousers in winter? Would you wear white or black ankle socks to keep your ankles warm?
Hi. Thank you for the new video. What about your hat? During the cold season, hats or scarves play a big role in the outfit. The beige hat fits you so well. Where did you buy it from?
what’s your color season? are you a true spring or a summer? i’m blonde like you but can’t wear chocolate brown or burgundy or dark navy. i can wear warmer browns, cobalt or brighter/lighter navy and warm reds. Having my colors done was a game changer🎉
I have similar staples that come out of my boxes every autumn. It's like getting new clothes without shopping! My favourite is a tailored camel coat in cashmere that I bought in a second hand shop over 20 years ago! It's perfect in every way and still looks like I just bought it. Hopefully it will last forever. ❤. Thank you for another inspiring video. I always use your colour combinations to make a few new looks for my outfit rail. Xxx
Hi Signe, long time follower here, thought I'd comment because I have mostly stopped watching and the reason may serve you as food for thought x I am also a mum, similar age and build, but we do not share the same style. You are way more dressed up and... monochrome-ish. This video is a great example of what I am missing on your channel. You know the ladies that are all about knits and colours? And those skater girls? And those in jeans and hoodies or these in black bottoms and checkered tops? I wish there was some representation, overview of different styles. You could illustrate using store. Pieces that eill be returned or on a website? A video idea being Knitwear to match your style. You could invite a skater friend on your channel and talk about their wardrobe, or an elegant one! Hope you consider it! :)
Signe is showing us her style, not yours! You can’t expect her to wear everyone else’s favorite styles. Her style is much more casual than mine, actually, but I still get a lot of value from her channel.
It’s so refreshing to see a content creator celebrate the things they already have and love. Not pushing the idea of buying new things each season.
So true!
Love it❤Greetings from NY.
I really love your using your own clothings to show your new season capsule wardrobe, instead of buying new clothings. We do not have to keep buying every year to make a capsule wardrobe.
Burgundy looks fab on you.
I love your style. I like that you appreciate what you already have. You create beautiful outfit combinations instead of continuously shopping for new items.
This burgundy knit looks sooo nice on you! Loving the autumnal vibes here 🤍
Love that sweater on you with the lovely lip colour. It really suits you. Great staples Signe. Hope you are well. Best wishes Karen 🤎🍂🍁🧡

So glad you decided to keep the boots :) yay!
Funny you should mention loving blue and feel that it suits you, I was just going to say how much I love that pale blue jumper on you. It’s very flattering on you.
Thanks to your videos and philosophy, I have saved so much money and improved my style and wardrobe. We need more people like you on the internet.

I love the color of your sweater.

I can identify very well with these items, I would just add boots and I love an offwhite cable-knit sweater ❤.
That jade coat is sooooooo dang good! 😍😍😍
every time I see it, I think the same thing!😂It's perfection.
Fantastic autumn capsule as always. Love your style.

Your advice is so helpful as I’m trying to create more of a capsule wardrobe. I hope you’re feeling well at this stage of pregnancy. You look amazing
I have always loved that grey sweater of yours. Now I know where you bought it. It is my style exactly. Good luck with the end of your pregnancy.
