It's what humans do, there's no stopping that. Some adults harm children or their own and there are children who harm their parents or other adults. The mother didn't get away with it.
The case with the 3 year old boy still saddens me to this day. Him being stuck in a toddler swing, unable to get out. His cries unanswered, slowly starving and dehydrating due to lack of water; all because his mother had a schizo mental breakdown that lasted 2 LONG DAYS! His father tried NUMEROUS times to get custody of his son, cause he (and many other family members) knew that little boy's mom had severe mental disorders! Yet, as per usual, the justice system/child care/protective services failed and another innocent child lost their life due to negligence!
You can’t say child services failed just because of this story. If there was no reason to think the child was in danger then there is nothing that can be done unless you are willing to condemn all people with mental health issues. I personally believe that if a person has mental health issues they should not have custody of a child. But since it can’t be treated with medication it’s seen as fine however, who is making sure these people take their meds?
Little Ashley's death was NOT involuntary. The mother had so much angry energy that she BEAT her daughter to DEATH, then so calm when she told the detective, "I killed her. Then she died." Seriously? "Involuntary"??
She was actively pushing the swing for 40 hours... Poor kid, I'm sure it came from a good heart with a sick mind. The girl who celebrated her proposal and then plummited to her death kinda got to me most. That's just so sad.
but she should not be reprehensible due to her schizophrenia. why would they let her take care of her kids in the first place? this is the system’s fault.
The chimney one is just so awful. Imagining the kid stuck like that is just horrifying. thats the last one i would pick if i had to pick. Even over the oven or the meatgrinder.
These deaths make me want to cry, May God make it easy for them in the next life, For their horrific deaths. To me, Mark Blackwood resembled Ed Sheeran
I can accept the accidental die on work or else, but i can't accept that in LaPlata Maryland where no more people living or passing the zone where the mother was pushing her child for 48 hours, no one tried to ask her if she is ok or no one noticed that she is in the same clothes....wht the hll
People need to understand that in the vast majority of workplace deaths or accidents the blame lies solely on the employee. It’s almost always the result of violating safety protocols. Companies really need to start fighting these lawsuits more aggressively.
"Inadequate training." Why is that so commonplace in work environments? People being hired for the first time have a right to be properly trained, especially since they can often be easily fired for incompetence because they haven't been taught the things they need to know to do their job correctly. I remember answering a classified ad for employment many years ago. The wording in the ad specifically said, "No experience necessary -- will train." I believed them, in good faith. But my first day on the job, my boss spent all of about five minutes "training" me, then walked out of the building, leaving me alone to fend for myself when situations arose that he never told me about nor taught me how to handle. I was literally on my own. He didn't even explain any of the laws to me regarding that job or those situations. He took about two minutes to demonstrate a procedure, but never once explained it. I had to try to figure out how he was doing it just by watching him that one and only time, because it wasn't entirely clear. There was a secret technique to it that he never revealed to me. So, naturally, I ended up doing some things wrong, and after he FINALLY showed up again just before a shift change, he fired me, saying, "I don't think you're right for the job." So the statement in the ad saying "will train" was a lie. How many new employees get lied to that way? I suspect it happens much of the time. And as this video shows, it can have deadly consequences.
Keep the Zhao parents permanently in prison without parole.
If you can't take care of your child, don't have one. Simple

Since when did a restaurant business become more important than your child’s life?
Ashley´s case broke me down on tears....
Falling into the meat grinder had to be excruciating. Not that the others also aren't bad.

The reconstructions really add a lot to the stories.

Plummenting after a proposal? Shit.
The blame is directly on the court system, because they knew of her state of mental health, but still allowed his mother to retain custody.
Three year old mother should never get out of jail
The way she tried to explain it away, so cold and selfish.
And the mother of the 5 yr old too
but she should not be reprehensible due to her schizophrenia. why would they let her take care of her kids in the first place? this is the system’s fault.
Its 5 year old but I agree never get out

Just heartbreaking 💔😢
Safety safety first crazy insane with food processing plant.
Think Jose was technically roasted, not boiled.
Seriously, does it matter! 😕
If it was tuna canning, that goes in an autoclave, autoclaves use steam to cook. Thus, technically, he was steamed.
you're a comedian, huh?
8:18 ngl, as tragic as the accident was, I found myself giggling at the disturbing accuracy of the animated re-enactment.
