If you lose your passport and SS card, it's not the end of the world. I had my SS card stolen. You should report it to the government and this puts on an alert and adds extra identification requirements to make claims. You just get a new passport.
Instead of spending all that time trying to get it back, I would have reported the passport lost or stolen and put a freeze on my credit. No telling how many times his junkie friends have posed as her. 😂
