Really 😂 it’s really nothing special abt that place if anything their was an older Mexican lady at the bar in the resort & I 👂 heard say I’d like 👍 an Gudajaaja 😂 & I was like 👍 whaaat theirs actually a drink 🥃 named after that place. & she was like 👍 yes 🙌🏻 btw I’m from Guadalajara. See even ppl from Guadalajara go to Cancun. That’s how sucky gadajaja is. It’s an 1000 miles difference from Guadalajara to Cancun, I don’t blame the lady of course she went to Cancun to vacation.

I studied in Guadalajara for two years was glad to return home to the US. I did learn to speak Spanish.
It's a big city but it's spread out. Tlaquepaque in the southern end is a cool artsy area to visit.

Keep in mind that we make lot of mexicans jealous, so comments like the one just previusly got, are spread quite often by lot of mexicans... So always keep that in mind, when you hear shit against Guadalajara.

I've gone there. It is very commercialized. Not as modern as Monterrey, not as touristy or beachy as say Cabo, not as urban as CDMX, but somewhere in the middle. It kind of reminded me of suburban America with a lot of shopping. If you like shopping and eating at some neat, clean spots this is a good place

Pro tip: There's a speakeasy bar above osteria. Take the steps up, amazing cocktails. Get the "Mezcal" :)

We actually did go on a weekday, and there wasn't much happening. We did find one mariachi group there though, and they actually are the ones shown in the video!

WOW, very nice place where you guys stayed. I'm sure it was mucho dineros staying there. When I was in Guadalajara I stayed at a place called DIANA the rooms was around 35 USD a night. Very nice place and also good food. So, are you from Canada and your boyfriend from Brazil or Mexico or whatever Latina country ? Beside whatever so nice to see a Latina being with a white women. Many times it is the other way.................female Latina the man or boy white.
I might stay just to meet the kitty! lol

I’m visiting Guadalajara now. The best thing here is the people, nice, easy going and great service. That said, boring. If your vacation is about eating, drinking, and mindless activities like shopping, this place is for you.

We didn't run into any issues, but like with any city you have to have your wits about you.

Karnes Garibaldi is the fastest serving restaurant in the world according to the Guinness world record. Idk why your complaining.
There is a catch. It's the only thing on the menu that's why it's fast. As soon as you walk in they have a pretty good idea of what you are going to order!
City is nice but your music is not needed.

The largest market in Latinamerica and you just drowned the Torta Ahogada in Tomato Sauce not a it of chile and your husband just poured some drops of it. The real Ahogadas are drown in just Chile sauce. Drowned in Tomato sauce and Chile sauce is Media Ahogada ( half drowned ) , you never ate a Torta Ahogada as such , you just a sandwich with tomato sauce 😂
