There's no difference between an indefinite accusative adjective and a definite accusative proper noun. It's entirely down to tafsir. Sunni exegetes can point to references to other figures contemporary with the prophet, Abu Bakr, Aisha, Abu Lahab, etc. Surat Tarim is clearly a divine rebuke of Aisha daughter of Abu Bakr and Hafsa daughter of Umar, warning them if they keep lying the Prophet he will divorce them, and they will go to hell. But no, of course they're treated like saints in Sunni Islam. I'm sometimes surprised the Salafis haven't rehabilitated Abu Lahab.

As a child growing up we girls always attended majlees and my mum,may Allah swt be pleased with her,and few other ladies used to read from a kitab about the happenings of karbala. It was in urdu and many who understood the kasidas used to be moved to tears. In around 1978, the deobandi school of thought entered,ie tableegh jamaat and gradually over time these practices diminished. Allah swt knows best. I've heard here in certain circles derogatory comments about Shias. My own Dad,may Allah swt be pleased with him,used to compliment the Shia qaris as the best I'm definitely researching Shiasm and finding a connection.

When Ibrahim (A) ask Allah, in Sura Ibrahim verse 40 (My Lord! Make me and those ˹believers˺ of my descendants keep up prayer. Our Lord! Accept my prayers), Allah respond it in Sura Mariam verse 50, here is the exact name of Imam Ali (A) وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّا In sura An-Naba verse 40, in the end of verse Allah says "and disbelivers says I wish I were dust!" Profet Saws call Ali A for Abu Turab(father of earth, or dust). Disbelivers wish they were from follower of Imam Ali (A). In Sura Noor verse 35, Allah talking about light and then giving an example of Ahlulbeit, He talking about Fatima(A)and then Al Hasan & Al Husain, Allah says they were not from east or west( Christians or Jews), and from them light after light( نور علی نور) means other Imams until Mahdi AJ, Allah talking about Imam Mehdi AJ in sura Al-Fajr, Allah swear to Fajr(when Imam coming), and darknes wich become to 10(10 nights), mean when they did not let eny Imam making the judgment of Allah in this world, only Imam Ali (A)for some years and then 10 other Imam (A) could not make it becouse of Fetna. But the last one (12Imam (A) Alfajr) will Insha Allah.

Well said Molana ! Ibn e Abbas through out his life defended the waliya of Hazrat Ali (a.s). We sunni Muslims read Dua e Qannut in our witir salah which Rasool Allah teach him. Deviation of his later family members is a lesson for all of us to make a mandatory dua to die as Muslim Ameen.

According to Sunnis, God and the Prophet did not know the expediency of Islam and did not specify a successor, but Abu Bakr knew the expediency of Islam and appointed Omar as his successor. Umar knew the expediency and recommended the formation of a council of 6 people, but the Prophet did not! Muawiyah knew that he was a reformer and made his son Yazid his successor, but God and the Prophet did not even advise on this matter!! How easy it is to lie about God and His Prophet! The Islamic Ummah always needs a leader and an Imam in any situation, especially in a sensitive time like the beginning of Islam, when the Islamic Ummah was immature and about to grow. Islam is incomplete without specifying the successor and caliph for the prophet from God. And God said in this verse, with this incident today, Islam is complete.

He is also mentioned by name in Surah Hijr, where God describes the straight path, that being of Ali (a.s). It is verse 41. If you say we find only Allah in the Qur'an than why did Allah put the names of his Prophet in the Qur'an? Imam Ali and bibi Fatema are mentioned in the Qur'an. Bibi Fatema gave food to a yateem, begger and prisoner food when they knocked on thier door of Imam Ali and Bibi Fatema, just like Allah mentions it in Sura Insan/Ghafir.

When this guy was young, his Sufi teacher taught him about many topics, like Sufism, Roman/Christianity empire. From his father's side and from his mother's side, he had European blood. When he learnt how the council of Nicaea changed the teaching of Isa alihiSalam and put trinity in todays bible, he followed that. I'm afraid, Abu Bakr apparently concocted this hadeeth - it contradicts the Quran and IN DEFIANCE of Ghadeer. This is the fabricated hadeeth Abu Bakr produced: نخن معاشر الأنبياء لا نورث ما تركنا صدقة *We prophets do not leave inheritance, what we leave behind is charity* This completely contradicts the Quran and Hz Fatimah proved it so by mentioning various verse, including: النمل , ١٦) وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ " *And Sulaiman inherited from Dawood* " ; Surah an-Namal, verse 16. Abu Bakr accused her of inventing an argument just to get back her property (which was rightfully hers, and he knew it) . She had to remind that it's not her invented argument. it is a Quranic verse! Abu Bakr was illiterate so didn't read the Quran because he simply could not. Besides. as the point was made, her demand for Fadak was just the beginning, and if she had been given that back, the next thing would have been for her to demand the khilafah for her husband, Imam Ali, as that too had been assigned to him both in the Quranic verse of Aayat-ul-Ghadeer and in various Prphetic aahaadeeth - all from SUNNI sources! Surah 2.124: Prophet Ibrahim a.s. is made an imam by Allah. He asks Allah "will you make imams of my offspring as well?". Allah responds "My covenant does not extend to the evil-doers" The 12 imams are descendants of Prophet Ibrahim a.s. (good-doers) The evil-doers refers to Yazid and other troublemakers from Prophet Ibrahim a.s. lineage.

it's has nothing to do with being afraid. But weren't the original Torah and Injeel altered by people? So you can't say this wasn't an option at all. But besides this, all of the attributes that are mentioned can only be attributed to Imam Ali and to no one else. You can choose to ignore them, that's up to you. Allah gave you the freedom to do just that, everybody is responsible for their own soul.

No name of Caliph Ali in Quran. --- Al-Ali is one name of God ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَأَنَّ مَا يَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِهِۦ هُوَ ٱلْبَـٰطِلُ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِىُّ ٱلْكَبِيرُ 22:62 Thus it is, because God alone is the Ultimate Truth, so that all that men invoke beside Him is sheer falsehood, and because God alone is exalted, great! (asad)
Such a pity the surmon of the completion of the ayah of religion was held in mecca in the prophets last pilgrimage while the so claimed wilayah of Ali was held in khadir khum. How do you shias put these two together when there were two separate incidents in two separate places?
It has been narrated on the authority of `Ali ibn Ibrahim on the authority of his father on the authority of Ibn Abi-`Umayr on the authority of `Umar ibn Udhaynah on the authority of Zurarah, al-Fudayl ibn Yasar, Bukayr ibn A`yun, Muhammad ibn Muslim, Burayd ibn Muawiyah and Abu’l-Jarud that Abu-Ja`far (Imam al-Baqir) said, “Almighty Allah has made the loyalty to `Ali obligatory. He revealed, ‘Only Allah is your guardian and His Messenger and those who believe, those how keep prayers and pay the Zakat while they bow.’ People did not know what the loyalty meant; therefore, He ordered the Holy Prophet (S) to explain it in the same way as he explained the obligatory prayer, Zakat, fasting and Hajj, but because he feared lest people would apostatize from the religion or belie him, he supplicated to the Lord about it and the Lord revealed, ‘O Apostle! Deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do it not, then you have not revealed His message and Allah will protect you from the people.’ Immediately after that, he carried out the instruction. He called people to gather and conveyed the divinely commissioned leadership of `Ali and ordered the attendants to carry it to the absent. That took place in Ghadir Khumm. The precepts were revealed consecutively and the last of them was the loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt; therefore, closely after the Holy Prophet (S)’s declaration of Ghadir, Almighty Allah revealed, ‘This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion.’ By this Verse, the Lord meant that He should not reveal any more precepts since He had perfected them.

Because they were already worshiping Omar and Abubakar they didn't need to add their names to Quran. But if Imam Ali's name was explicitly mentioned in the Quran then the umayads would be determined to change that verse to continue their hatred towards Imam Ali.

Can you please help Allah says that ,"forbidden to you is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of allah has been invoked, and the strangled (animal) and that beaten to death, and that killed by a fall and that killed by being smitten with the horn, and that which wild beasts have eaten, except what you slaughter, and what is sacrificed on stones set up (for idols) and that you divide by the arrows; that is a transgression. this day have those who disbelieve despaired of your religion, so fear them not, and fear me. this day have i perfected for you your religion and completed my favor on you and chosen for you islam as a religion; but whoever is compelled by hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely allah is forgiving, merciful."

@@am7016 Respectfully, someone with a Shia bias is going to read any mention of "exalted" in the Quran as meaning Imam Ali (a), and someone with a Sunni bias is going to read every mention of Imam Ali (a) as "exalted" because his name is an adjectivet... 19:50 could be saying "we made for them tongues, truthful, exalted." but as a counter example if it said, "we made for them tongues, truthful, praiseworthy" I guarantee if instead of " 'Aliyyan" it said "Muhammadan" you'd be arguing it at least indirectly referred to the Prophet Muhammad (s) whether or not it overtly did because you see "praiseworthy" and you read the name of Prophet Muhammad (s). There's no difference between an indefinite accusative adjective and a definite accusative proper noun. It's entirely down to tafsir.
Sunni exegetes can point to references to other figures contemporary with the prophet, Abu Bakr, Aisha, Abu Lahab, etc. Surat Tarim is clearly a divine rebuke of Aisha daughter of Abu Bakr and Hafsa daughter of Umar, warning them if they keep lying the Prophet he will divorce them, and they will go to hell. But no, of course they're treated like saints in Sunni Islam. I'm sometimes surprised the Salafis haven't rehabilitated Abu Lahab.

As a child growing up we girls always attended majlees and my mum,may Allah swt be pleased with her,and few other ladies used to read from a kitab about the happenings of karbala. It was in urdu and many who understood the kasidas used to be moved to tears. In around 1978, the deobandi school of thought entered,ie tableegh jamaat and gradually over time these practices diminished. Allah swt knows best. I've heard here in certain circles derogatory comments about Shias. My own Dad,may Allah swt be pleased with him,used to compliment the Shia qaris as the best

He is intelligent and a truthful person whatever he said 100% true because he is giving evidence, references from Quran and i already knew these things because i read Quran with translation and there are some other evidence about Ahlul baith Alaihissalam and was shocked there is an ayat ( Ayate Mubahila) you'll find in only Ahlul Bait Alaihissalam are mentioned with prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Wa Alaihi Wasallam this verse only five members of prophet's (s.w.w) family who are they prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Wa Alaihi Wasallam, Hazrat Ali, Bibi Fatima, Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain Alaihissalam that's it. One more ayat Ayate Tat-heer describes about Ahlul Bait Alaihissalam after an incidence which is mentioned in several hadeeths about Sallallahu Wa Alaihi Wasallam was in a bed sheet and he sallallahu alaihi wasallam took one by one his Ahlul baith Alaihissalam in his bed sheet and that time Ayat revealed about Ahlul baith Alaihissalam that was Ayate Tat-heer. But those who want right path it's true he or she has to research his or herself.

When Ibrahim (A) ask Allah, in Sura Ibrahim verse 40 (My Lord! Make me and those ˹believers˺ of my descendants keep up prayer. Our Lord! Accept my prayers), Allah respond it in Sura Mariam verse 50, here is the exact name of Imam Ali (A)
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِنَا وَجَعَلْنَا لَهُمْ لِسَانَ صِدْقٍ عَلِيًّا
In sura An-Naba verse 40, in the end of verse Allah says "and disbelivers says I wish I were dust!" Profet Saws call Ali A for Abu Turab(father of earth, or dust). Disbelivers wish they were from follower of Imam Ali (A).
In Sura Noor verse 35, Allah talking about light and then giving an example of Ahlulbeit, He talking about Fatima(A)and then Al Hasan & Al Husain, Allah says they were not from east or west( Christians or Jews), and from them light after light( نور علی نور) means other Imams until Mahdi AJ, Allah talking about Imam Mehdi AJ in sura Al-Fajr, Allah swear to Fajr(when Imam coming), and darknes wich become to 10(10 nights), mean when they did not let eny Imam making the judgment of Allah in this world, only Imam Ali (A)for some years and then 10 other Imam (A) could not make it becouse of Fetna. But the last one (12Imam (A) Alfajr) will Insha Allah.

As according to the Sunnis, God and the Prophet did not choose any successor for themselves, and this thinking caused a lot of bloodshed after the Prophet and disunity and scattered sects.
According to Sunnis, God and the Prophet did not know the expediency of Islam and did not specify a successor, but Abu Bakr knew the expediency of Islam and appointed Omar as his successor. Umar knew the expediency and recommended the formation of a council of 6 people, but the Prophet did not! Muawiyah knew that he was a reformer and made his son Yazid his successor, but God and the Prophet did not even advise on this matter!!

The Islamic Ummah always needs a leader and an Imam in any situation, especially in a sensitive time like the beginning of Islam, when the Islamic Ummah was immature and about to grow.

He is also mentioned by name in Surah Hijr, where God describes the straight path, that being of Ali (a.s). It is verse 41. And the same explanation goes for it, because one does not describe the attribute of a path as being "high" rather the quality of a path is in it being straight. So the translation naturally becomes, "God said, 'The path of Ali is the straight path',"

I'm afraid, Abu Bakr apparently concocted this hadeeth - it contradicts the Quran and IN DEFIANCE of Ghadeer.
This is the fabricated hadeeth Abu Bakr produced:
نخن معاشر الأنبياء لا نورث ما تركنا صدقة
*We prophets do not leave inheritance, what we leave behind is charity*
This completely contradicts the Quran and Hz Fatimah proved it so by mentioning various verse, including:
النمل , ١٦) وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ
" *And Sulaiman inherited from Dawood* " ; Surah an-Namal, verse 16.
Abu Bakr accused her of inventing an argument just to get back her property (which was rightfully hers, and he knew it) .
She had to remind that it's not her invented argument. it is a Quranic verse! Abu Bakr was illiterate so didn't read the Quran because he simply could not.
Besides. as the point was made, her demand for Fadak was just the beginning, and if she had been given that back, the next thing would have been for her to demand the khilafah for her husband, Imam Ali, as that too had been assigned to him both in the Quranic verse of Aayat-ul-Ghadeer and in various Prphetic aahaadeeth - all from SUNNI sources!
Aayat-ul-Ghadeer, as worded in the compilation of Abdullah ibn Mas'uud, one of the first three Quran compilers - the other two being, Imam Ali and Ubayy ibn Ka'b - had Imam Ali's name in it before Uthman's committee REMOVED it. Here are Jalaaluddin as-Suyuuti and ash-Shaukani. two well-known Sunni scholars quoting ibn Mas'uud in their respective exegeses (tafaasiir):

Both Abu Bakr and Umar went against the Prophet's wish at Saqeefah and usurped the khilaafah, and further going on to usurp the orchard of Fadak by Abu Bakr inventing a hadeeth that no one else had ever heard and which flatly contradicts the Quran.
As a result of the debacle at Saqeefah and its violent aftermath, when on the orders of Abu Bakr, Umar led the attack on Lady Fatimah bint ar-Rasuullah, she became angry with them both and stopped speaking to them until she died a few months later. Even Bukhari mentions that she was very angry with them.

He revealed, ‘Only Allah is your guardian and His Messenger and those who believe, those how keep prayers and pay the Zakat while they bow.’ People did not know what the loyalty meant; therefore, He ordered the Holy Prophet (S) to explain it in the same way as he explained the obligatory prayer, Zakat, fasting and Hajj, but because he feared lest people would apostatize from the religion or belie him, he supplicated to the Lord about it and the Lord revealed, ‘O Apostle! Deliver what has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do it not, then you have not revealed His message and Allah will protect you from the people.’
Immediately after that, he carried out the instruction. He called people to gather and conveyed the divinely commissioned leadership of `Ali and ordered the attendants to carry it to the absent. That took place in Ghadir Khumm. The precepts were revealed consecutively and the last of them was the loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt; therefore, closely after the Holy Prophet (S)’s declaration of Ghadir, Almighty Allah revealed, ‘This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion.’ By this Verse, the Lord meant that He should not reveal any more precepts since He had perfected them.

-Hadith al Kisa
-Hadith al Taqlain
-Hadith al Manzila
-Hadith about the event of Mubahala
And you still want to ignore the fact that Imam Ali is the rightfull successor of the Prophet, than whose brain (to say it in your own words) is frozen?
Because they were already worshiping Omar and Abubakar they didn't need to add their names to Quran. But if Imam Ali's name was explicitly mentioned in the Quran then the umayads would be determined to change that verse to continue their hatred towards Imam Ali.
So is the sunni who are following falsehood.

SURAH AL TAUBAH QURAN IN THE CAVE ALLAH SENDA NO SERENITY UPON ABU BAKAR. HE COULD NOT HELP RASOOLAH AND WAS FEARING . TRUE BIEVERA NEVER FEAR.
This is the whole ayat (3) of surah maida and it doesn't make sence about imam Ali .

Allah says that ,"forbidden to you is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of allah has been invoked, and the strangled (animal) and that beaten to death, and that killed by a fall and that killed by being smitten with the horn, and that which wild beasts have eaten, except what you slaughter, and what is sacrificed on stones set up (for idols) and that you divide by the arrows; that is a transgression. this day have those who disbelieve despaired of your religion, so fear them not, and fear me. this day have i perfected for you your religion and completed my favor on you and chosen for you islam as a religion; but whoever is compelled by hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely allah is forgiving, merciful."
