My husband 3D printed an attachment that goes directly over the handle of my Addi knitting machine so I can use a power drill. I love it! Its extra nice because I don't have to remove the handle. That way if I need to hand crank at the end of a project I can easily do that. He even bought me a small power drill to keep with my knitting machines. Yes! Four kids, plus pets and the level of dirtiness is outrageous. Hey! Get the guy with the 3D printer to look up attachments for the Addi Express King size. 😉
The Addy machine is really easy to use the brochure makes it sound more complicated than it is. They also sell an attachment for the Addy machine that can stick to your drill to make it go faster. It’s great for you. For example, you make all your little kids from school hats so in like an hour, you could probably knock out 10 hats. Once you get the hang of the machine it really does go fast.
Sounds like you had a busy vacation making mittens. Good luck using your Addi knitting machine. I’ve often thought about getting one, but I live in SE Texas and we don’t get much cold weather for hats. 🧶💜🙏🏻
You have an ambitious list of things you want to do! I’ve always admired the hats that you knit. Can you advise what UA-cam channel you got the pattern from? I think it may be easy enough for me to do because I’m not real proficient at knitting. Crochet is my usual craft. Congrats on going through your kitchen cabinets! That’s very ambitious…..😊 ❤-Brenda
Smells like Yarn. Look up, “knitting a Ross hat” on UA-cam and his tutorial should come up. I’m a beginner knitter and I have several knitted hats from his tutorial.
