We had to tape the top and bottom of the tumbler and bump the time up to 150 per rotation at 370 degrees.
And it's not burning or discoloring them?

I think i have to agree that more pressure would most likely fix the problem. Love those tumblers ❤
I make my design a bit bigger( seam, top and bottom), tape one seam end so when it overlaps the ink gets on the tape.
Then I only tape at the seam. No taping on the bottom nor the top. I press for 240 seconds (rotating 2 times for 120sec)then I press the top and bottom for 20 seconds. Temp 385°C.
Perfect every time ...

I have done quite a few 20 oz and 30 Oz tumblers in this machine and my tumblers come out great
I feel like mine would be better suited for 30s but I can't print for 30s 🤣 what time and temp are your pressing for?
390 or 75 seconds turn another 75 seconds I tape ?my top and bottom and down the seam
@terimeadows2528 Yours is the time I'm going to use. Times and Temps are all over the place on different videos making it quite confusing.
I only taped the seam from day 1 and they come out amazing. I don't then them either

Very nice machine. Have had my eye on it for a while now. I’m sure it takes a bit to fine tune to your specs. Might attempt one here today with my current machine. This one is in my wish list though. I think they have some work to do on it. I think it needs more pressure and the heat part is actually bigger than it needs to be I don't know how to explain what I mean with written words 🤣

I love mine I got the green one too match my cricut machine, I didn’t think much too the heat gloves though as when holding the glass tumbler I could feel the heat through them.
I am so glad you are loving yours and I really wanted the green obviously bit I didn't get a choice 🤣

It's okay it need a little work. I suspect it works better with 30 ounce tumblers but I don't have the means to print 30 ounce wraps
At 13 minutes in the video, was that heat tape you used or regular scotch tape, please?

These are really cool...however, when you picked it up to show the side view, i could see the gap in your seam..i think if you would do an extra 15-20 seconds on each end, that might stop that. try to do both ends on the same side as the one that is showing the best coverage. and don't put any tape on the edge...sightly overlap it some and press your seam with your fingernails.
Tried that it doesn't help, it's a pressure issue I definitely need to tape more and tighter for it to work for me. The entire heating area need to be a bit smaller thebpressure stops because the heat part hits itself. I don't really know how to explain it in words. It's why some people are pressing without rotating....
I am very OCD about my taping method but still end up with inconsistent results using this press. Same designs end up hit and miss on their HTVRont 20 oz tumblers. Some end up with faded areas - not ghosting. I flip end for end and rotate 180° but still inconsistent results no matter what time and temperature combination.
Yeah I am seeing a lot of that its a bummer this could have been a wonderful machine. I've never tried a 30ounce in it but in mine I suspect they would work perfect...

Yeah sadly They definitely have some work to do on this one. Some people's work perfectly and some people's simply don't work at all. If my cups were 1/4 larger around I think it would press perfect every time. I suspect a manual one or a version 2 will be coming out at some point.... same as the t shirt press...
Mine does close all the way but its a habit to rotate so i still do mine too
Hi, can I ask if your converted sublimation printer works well? I am considering doing this instead of buying a sublimation printer.
Is this the same one you had that did this or did they send you a new one that still has ghosting on it?

You shouldn't have to shrink wrap when you use a press. In theory you should really be able to use 3 pieces of tape and get a good result.
15 oz ceramic mugs don’t fit but 11 oz do.
Some do some don't 🤷♀️ I use a cricut mug press for mugs.
Cricut 15 oz mug doesn't fit but some other brand do

No not unless it's been sitting out of the box or I've handled it too much.

No it's just the sound it makes when it hit itsself in the front it actually sounds a lot like the big auto press does
Why would somebody buy that? It's not really hard to pull the handle of a regular press.
Actually for some people with physical limitations it is that hard. To each their own people can spend their own money however they choose.
My husband bought this press for me because my sister has a regular one, and she said it is hard sometimes to press it down. I have several painful autoimmune conditions, and my hands swell and hurt almost all day every day, and this would be much easier for me with my arthritic issues. My issues and pain also affect my hand strength on really bad days.

I wasnt impressed with this press when it came out, there is nonqaybto change the pressure, and thats a must and i learned that with thier shirt press i have a lotnof issues with it have to do a lot of steps to get it to press certain things right like using cardboard to get more pressure.
I bought the Eenour auto press it even rotates automatically and you can change the pressure
