Hey SteveO thanks for the video. I recently lost my job and due to your videos and my obsession with cleaning glass I purchased a few things from Home Depot and cleaned the windows in my house. Your methods are great and easy to understand. Cleaning glass relaxes me and I hope to parlay that in to a business soon! Thanks again man for keeping it real and positive🙂
Hi steve, for some reason I can't seem to find a video on how to clean Juliet sliding glass doors that overlap. Where I live apartment buildings have these but they go as high as 16 floors. The only solution I had was to use a magnetic type cleaner with squeegee from China.
Hey SteveO. What brushes do you use on your telescopic window cleaning poles? I work for a window cleaning company and we are struggling to find brushes that are course enough to get stuck on gunk off the windows. We have tried several kinds varying from nylon to boars hair.
Hey Stevo! Are you still on the tools, or full time with WCR now mate? I’m of similar age to you and a window cleaner here Aussie. I wanted to know how your shoulders/elbows/body in general is holding up after your years as a window cleaner? Would love to continue for decades but as they say, you don’t see too many older window cleaners for a reason I guess 😅😬
I've been cleaning windows since 84. Still going fine at 55. Eat good food, not too much sugar or alcohol. Also, I try to use a pole for anything above head level. It really saves the shoulders. I use a waterfed pole on the outside and a moerman accelerator with a fliq on the inside. I can do jobs super fast. We are out there but we're so fast you don't see us. 😉
Hey SteveO, I’m glad you did a review on the Orange Crush soap. I was wondering how the slip was. I’m a speed/ Slick maniac. I’m a huge Glisten fan, so I generally use ABC Glisten with a squirt of Dawn. I like GG3-4 as well but not by itself. I’ll have to check that Crush out. I feel Crazy Larry’s is good, but not better than anything else really, and it’s high priced… I feel as a window guy works in our field long enough, we always come back around to the basics. I tried other soaps with glide, without, etc. and came back to Dawn and Joy and was like Damn this stuff is slicker. At the end of the day if you could only pick one soap for the rest of your career I would pick Dawn or Glisten lol…
If we use the link in description for any product do you get credit for it? I always know what I want to order, just want to show you some love for all the info you put out.
Hey man I'm surprised you haven't done a video yet on how best to squeegee the inside of your windshield? If I'm wrong lmk, but that would be a really helpful video!
I'm in Quebec and I found the smallest camping ground I could find in Vermont and got friend with the owner, I ship all my window clean supplies there with way lower shipping cost
Hey Stevo, u should just film window cleaning with a GoPro and no talking just you doing the job kinda like asmr, just thought u don’t have to put any effort into making the video yet that would be an awesome series
Hey, there is many older videos like that if you go back through. A youtube channel will always grow into other ways of presenting content. Kind of over putting a camera on my head and working, did that for a while and have given so many free tips with that. I also like talking and explaining. But hey start up a window cleaning channel yourself and do some of that.

Yes! steve o posted!
Had to take a little break, moved and welcomed our daughter into the world! Hope to be posting more regularly this year
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner Awww! Congrats!🎉
Thanks SteveO! I was wondering about the Mayker orange krush. I like how you show using different rubbers with ettore brass squeegee bars.
Amazing video Steveo I’ve been wondering how the orange Krush soap is😁
Jeez still looks pretty cold by you!! Lots of snow still!
Couple feet last week 🥶
SteveO is QUICK with the end clips ⚡️⚡️
Thank you for sharing!!
Yoh! Steve-O , how would you compare that rubber to the Unger green or Ettore master? Just in performance, I mean.
Ettore has better glide, but Unger green lasts longer

Auto detailing soap like Adams is ph neutral, SUPER slick and sudsy and cleans well. Do you think it's worth trying for windows?
I've never used that, let me know how it goes
Hi Steveo, any tips for cleaning houses with bars on windows?
Use a waterfed pole.

I saw your video on what you use in your water gallon and I was wondering which window solution would be better to buy between gleam 4 and hi slide

If you haven't tried glideator yet? I love that stuff. I used dawn for a long time, but I'm a convert.
@@isaacholzwarthI’ll have to try that 👍
Soap reminds me of irn bru - scottish window cleaner here!

Squeegee is the wrong tool of choice. Use distilled water and a lint free cloth, buff until completely dry. 👍
There is no clip to tighten the tire, is there any other alternative?
Love this soap my new favorite
Hey SteveO, quick question I know that walnut scrubbing pads can’t scratch the glass but can it scratch any film/tint
yes
Is the smell noticeable, and if so does it smell like oranges?
Its not over powering at all, just a nice clean scent
Rubbers actually can fit in sorbo 45 I will post video
Id love to get some of thos to try, but wcr says it cant be shipped to my address in Canada oddly.
Yea liquids can not ship internationally, nothing that we control
@@SteveOthewindowcleaner yeah i know and it bites haha. Cant find anyone in Canada that stocks it either sadly.

@@pinkfluffybattt5414 oh that is genius. Im in Northern Ontario
if you ever go to usa get a PO box, with postscan it is about 50$ (because there is a consent form that costs like 30$)
Can you buy them in UK ?
We ship to the Uk, But I think its available at some local suppliers there too
Does the orange krush taste better than apc 100?
Oh yea, APC100 has no scent or smell. lol
I spilled it on my hood by accident, im worry about peeling of my clearcoat!
