One Of Falmouth’s Best Winter Walks

A quick drone flyover of the recently restored Coonamessett River Greenway in Falmouth,MA on Cape Cod. This area was actively cranberry farmed for generations which choked the natural flow of the river. After multiple acquisitions, the area was protected and restored to a more natural flow. Once plentiful species such as river herring and American Eels may one day be able to return to these waters. Until then, walking and wildlife observation are encouraged. A great spot to enjoy!

Great video! I go the chance to return to Falmouth this past summer and see the wonderful progress of this habitat restoration project that was only in the very beginning stages when I left employment with the Town of Falmouth. Thanks to all who saw it through and continue the work!
