In 22 he did blow himself up by bad strategy. This year he did race a bit differently. I don't understand how you can conclude he couldn't have followed Jonas at tourmalet given he's done similar numbers before.
This isn't just a function of age. Everyone has a ceiling of ability, and reaching that ceiling progress will logically become harder and harder. Its an asymptote.
Physical performance will only take you so far, being smart on when to use that physical performance is experience that no amount of training can give, only can obtain by racing.
if he stays out of injuries that is most important and illness free its kinda hard to do that cuz you cant decide that specially some crushes in peloton
yes, he is also getting older so the body is less capable to make some bigger gains in physique. He aslo masters his technique so now he can only make some small impovements, because he managed almost everything to the top.
Cycling is just as kuch strategy and knowledge as it is fitness. Go watch a crit race. The fastest or strongsst man usually doesnt win. Its so much strategy and knowing when to use your energy vs conserve it. Those that use it well, have the energy for the climbs. We just saw it today in stage 19.
its not the age, its the level he is in right now. this mofo rides 30-40kph in a climb if you can still improve from that with age its just too unfair he is young. how strong would he become at 28 to 31
When you are at 99.8% , it takes a lot to get to 99.9, no matter your age in any sport
Nonlinearity
Well he probably pass 100% with his performance this year
He is extremely honest.
Humble, honest, and breaking records daily at this TDF. Pogi !!! 💥💥💥
i watched him live doing 23 km/h on a 10% climb.... nosebreathing.... this guy does not need any more gains XD
I think he improved a lot from 2022 to 2023. I think a 22 version of Pogi could have never followed Jonas on tourmalet with those numbers.

@@Queen-be6md Well, people just throw random conclusions based in no real data
Nothing but respect 🙌
Unrelated- he’s so handsome
Tadej is the Best
✨👑🔝 Tadej Pogacar!!!✨ Sei fantastico!!💪🤩✨👑✨
3 Tour de France wins, multiple stages. Live life Tadej, look at Jonas, life changes in a heart beat
Love that guy

I think Pogi was done with that interview before it actually ended

depend on sports and event! you don't need smart to do 100m dash or tt
The guy isn't even fully developed yet, he probably still have some decent gains to be made. Absolutely beast
Fabulous Cyclist. He is in 4 a Suprise as when he hits 26/28 yrs old he will have more strength & endurance. 😅

Barring injuries, when he hits his athletic peak at late 20's - early 30s, he would be a monster.
Peak respiratory fitness occurs around age 27. Tadej is 25
the fact that he has not peaked yet is wild
This is the classic concept of diminishing returns.
He’s pretty much pushing past a hundred
❤❤❤❤
Naš Pogi❤❤❤
whats the science behind this? Is it cause he's already near the top so its harder?

Law of Diminishing Returns.
@@vojtechpek821 He is 25 which means he is in his best years.

At 25 years old? Wait till your 35....

It’s a question whether his improvements are natural or not.
I personally don’t think 7wkg for 40 mins at the end of a stage is natural.
