I think the drawbacks and issues with this accord is quite minor. When you drive it daily and use the interior and utilize all the practical space, this is an amazing car to drive. Love the car and great video! Hopefully you start making more on this accord 👌
Absolutely! And oh don’t you worry I plan on making a video on everything I hate or love or am neutral about haha. I appreciate your watching and writing!!
@@Ben-vy1ob it would’ve been much cheaper fs but man I’ve never liked model 3’s on the inside. For my liking it’s just too minimal looking. Plus I travel to Canada from Chicago a lot and I didn’t want to make a 6 hr long trip 8 hours cause of charging stops.
Great review! I think it would be nice to have a segment where you give your impressions of the car while driving - e.g., discuss handling, road noise, etc. while behind the wheel?
Great review and congrats on the car! The Accord hybrid has been on the top of my list of cars I’m wanting to get and this review highlighted many of the features I loved about it. I look forward to future videos from this channel👍🏼
1 to 1 brotha! Your comment made me smile bro! But I also respect those that hate this generation or accords in general for whatever reason haha. Its all a perspective after all.
I agree and also the engine choice. The TLX was just too wide of a car for me plus the tech stack is slightly different in the TLX(a little busy inside imo). It’s a give n take, basically. I hope you go with the A-Spec model tho at least haha. It’s def a bold sexy car!
Honestly bro because they’re still fairly new in the market, you’d be better off waiting until mid 2024 for a better deal on used cause rn they’re very close to almost brand new. I have 3000 miles on mine and the other day I asked Honda to appraise it for me and he offered me $35,700 and brand new Msrp is $39k
Great video and congratulations on your new Accord! I just recently bought a Acura TLX Type S black with the red leather interior. I’m coming from a 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0t which I still own. I wanted to get another Accord but was highly disappointed that Honda did away with the 2.0t. In my opinion that was a terrible move. They should’ve kept at least as an option. That’s what pretty much pushed me to TLX. My sport was fun to drive but at the same time gave me the daily commuter experience as well. I just feel like Honda goes through these years were they take the souls out there cars just to appease a certain demographic of buyers. Now don’t get me wrong I love the new Accord and the way it looks inside and out.
I hear ya! For me the tech stack and interior simplicity along with less buttons and no dial pads of the accord took the edge over the TLX. For some reason when I sat in the TLX it felt dated comparatively. and also the fact that TLX is just so wide lol. I already hate the length of my accord let alone dealing with the width and length combined for the TLX😅. But yes I personally would’ve preferred a 10 speed automatic but frankly when I decided I was going with an accord again, I didn’t care about it being an ecvt or not. I’m like “it’s just another accord for me” haha. I absolutely love the TLX for those that own one. You made a good choice!! You buying the TLX is the sole reason Honda stripped away things from the accord to move more TLX’s out the door🥲
you played into Honda and Acura strategy. They want previous Honda owners to move upscale by limiting sportiness and features on the Honda brand. Toyota and Lexus are also the same.
@@Ziakel Yeah I know that’s what they are doing. But either I buy it from them or go somewhere else and pay the same if not more for the same kind of quality and reliability that their brand offers. If there is one thing I learned in my 44yrs of living is you can’t win every battle brother. Sometimes you got to agree to disagree.
yeah it was a lot of work, about a weekends worth. paid 1500$ for the kit , and sold my stock mirrors, so it ended up being 300$. well worth it if you need to fold and unfold often to fit in a small garage. and it just looks cool when it auto-folds when you lock your car, or when it auto unfolds when you touch the handle. and no it wont affect warranty for the rest of your components, but if these mirrors break in the future, you would be out of luck because the seller in taiwan does not offer a warranty. the warranty for the rest of the car is still unaffected though.@@Cartalks100
The difference between Sport-L and bright trim is the main hesitation i have with the Touring. Where did you have the window trim done? I didn't know you could order the black air inlet on the lower trim.
I was in the same dilemma! But then I decided to have profession grade vinyl be wrapped on the window sills. I got my tints, window blackout, ceramic coating at DPS Automotive in Arlington Heights, Illinois. And you get vents on all trims( matte for all models) and gloss silver for touring but if you add the side mirror accessory of black inserts it’ll give you gloss vents too. I hope this helps! Also, do lmk what trim level you use end up going with? Also, sport-L gives you blacked out wheels with silver calipers haha so you might have to black those out too. It was too prominent for me so I would’ve blacked em out.
Hey! It can come with any of you pay $550 extra but with touring it’s standard and yes I was wrong on Alexa be she it does come in other hybrid trims but I had meant to only emphasize on Google maps built in exclusive to touring. Oh btw, Are you in Canada? Because then your sport trim may very well have blind spot monitoring standard but the US does not :)
Oh I wish! They stopped back in 9th gen from what I recall. 9th gen was also the last gen to have accord coupes. I did read as a rumor that accord coupe might make a debut in 2025 again 😂😂🤷🏽♂️
Solid car, definitely one of the best among daily driver sedans. Clean and competent design. I drove it, performance is not bad at all. Would have liked more details on the toilet paper roll otherwise great thorough review man!
Don't get me wrong. This is a great, awesome car. But I'll take a K5 GT over this Accord any day. You get more for your money, and honestly the K5 looks better than the Accord. Maybe it's jut my personal opinion...
I hear ya! Honestly, I didn’t wanted to go for a Kia or a Hyundai personally. But yeah K5 GT is def a handsome car! I’ve seen some beautiful K5 GT’s especially in gray with black contrast. Maybe I’ll do a review of it soon haha🤷🏽♂️
@@2004cyrus the whole idea of going with another accord after owning one for 8 years was the reliability my friend. Honda along with Toyota both bring reliability at core. So it manifests itself. But apologies if I forgot to mention it in the video.
Honda makes some of the best cvts, responsive without that drone lag, quiet and reliable. Yes I know here comes the hate about being cvt being worst transmission ever made blah blah …. lol Nissan has given them a bad rep with the track record of failures for years imo
I'll be honest, iv always been a Honda fan but the new Honda lineup has cut so many corners in terms of quality. I have the new 2023 CR-V and it's great but there are many things Iv noticed that look very cheap. I paid $40,000 and I'm very surprised at many things that weren't included as standard but were on the last generation. Honda isn't in financial turmoil so why the cost cutting crap? I'm very disappointed with them and Iv looked at all their new lineup and they all have cut corners in quality. Weird.
Hey! Honestly, I agree with you! Idk if it’s because building hybrid is more expensive cause of batteries or what that they ended up ignoring the QA and also stripping away features that were once included. Did you go for a sport-L or sport touring?
@@Cartalks100 bro am not wrong , same happened with me , I saw someone on UA-cam calling it a platypus and it's been months and I still can't unsee it... same goes to Tesla model 3 it's reminds me of frog 🐸 and when I see a Camry it looks like a whale 🐋 lol but accord is a great car as we all know
@@Dabal_R bro stop😂 these are so real! I would always call model 3 a factory dent but the frog is😂. I looked at my car just now thinking of this and it made me laugh so thank you!! Haha
Don’t get me wrong Mazda 3 looks sexy and interior is also very fresh. But it’s too cramped in the back and when I go to Canada in my car I always have a passenger or two in the back.
@@Cartalks100 I have the 3 premium and for the price you get a bang for your buck But ur car is unique man not many on the road bc the price lol congrats tho
Lol remember buddy, this isn't a luxury car, this is Honda, not acura, power folding mirrors are a bit too much to ask for in these car brands econ car brands (Toyota and Honda)
Buddy, that’s just in the American market! You get power folding even in civic in some markets haha. Plus, Pilot in North America has it now and that’s a Honda😜
This car looks ok and boring to me! However one of my friends has this so it has a problem with battery so he replaced it to a new one for 30k dollar!? No thanks! You better be careful! Good luck!
Hybrid battery warranty is 8 years/100,000 miles for accord from Honda. Also, your friend should’ve replaced the whole car instead of just the battery if it costed them that much. Lastly, it does not cost $30k. I appreciate you watching.
I swear I did 6.8 2 days ago literally. Soft launch. No AC nothing on, windows up and boom you’ll be under 7 sec. I can’t promise if I’ll be able to redo it cause to your point more often than not it’s always over 7 seconds but Honda claimed 6.4 and I’m tempted to keep trying it and see how close I can get lol
Congrats. This car looks a lot better in person. More presence in person vs online. And I like how this new design is more luxurious rather than sporty relative to the previous generation.
How in the world is this more luxurious? The 2016 Accord is more luxurious than this 2023 crap. It is an understatement to say this is not as sporty as the outgoing model. If it were truly luxurious I would not mind the lack of sportiness, but this new design is just plain vanilla. The interior is cheap to the extreme. I would take a brand new 2015 to 2022 Accord any day over this. I have been driving Accords for 30 years and I had two in my driveway as late as January this year. I wanted to change the oldest model for the new Accord, but I just couldn't do it. This new model had nothing I wanted...could not even get a tan interior which is the best color to make your car look more upscale. All my Accords have had tan interior. This offers no such option. So instead of buying a car I could get fully loaded for $40 to $45 grand, I paid $70,000 for the Acura MDX...that is how much i dislike this new Accord. At least the MDX offered me a non-hearse interior color. I got Parchment interior. The one thing I agree with this video is that Accords are damn reliable vehicles and that's why I have driven them for 30 years. I have always had two vehicles, and the only constant is the Accord...there has always been at least one in my driveway. I strongly feel that the reason Honda went so vanilla on the Accord is that it has become increasingly tough for consumers to justify buying an Acura sedan over the Accord. The Accord was taking sales away with its sporty look and upscale interior. Now it's just a dud. I still currently have a 2015 Accord in the driveway, with its beige interior, right turn signal and V6 engine....none of that is available on the new generation. So i am holding on to it. OK I am done with my therapy session. Thanks for listening to my rant.😊😊
I recently got the chance to drive an EX-L Hybrid and it was amazing!! The car felt very smooth and luxurious lol. I loved it, and coming from a 2022 Civic Touring it wasn’t too different! The only thing I didn’t like, which is honestly just a preference, is that it was a bigger car. I prefer having a smaller more compact car and if I’m being honest the Civic also grew in size and feels pretty big for me. I only hope they bring the Hybrid Civic soon!! But it’s an amazing car and looks beautiful!
The biggest miss with the Touring and EX-L trims is that the black interiors do not get a black headliner like the Sport and Sport L. It gives the interior Econo-Box vibes in my opinion. I am particular about that kind of stuff.
You’re right! But I’ve never had black interior before so I didn’t even think of that until you mentioned it haha. I’ve always had beige or gray interiors:/ Now I can’t stop thinking about this😂
@@Cartalks100 For some reason, alot of Japanese automakers do it. I have a Ford Taurus currently, and the headliner matches. Makes the car look much better in my opinion.
@@evanlandry9503 oh I agree with you! I think it makes it look more seamless like single tone especially if everything under the roof is all jet black. But the only positive I found is that with the lighter headliner it feels open and airy despite the all black interior.
I have a 2023 Accord Hybrid Touring in black and I absolutely love everything about this car. The ride is so smooth and quiet, super comfortable and Im only going to the gas station once a month. I prefer the looks of this new generation as a more mature look rather than the previous generation. Great job Honda 👏🏻
Congratulations! Also, I will say that when I saw the black touring I was like damn this is hitting good! Haha. Def a beautiful color on this generation! And haha damn your drive must be short then cause I typically do once every 2 weeks I’d say
Thank you and congratulations on yours! The white with black combination goes perfectly! I've had many Honda Civics in the past but this is my first Accord and I think this is the best looking Accord yet! Haha yea I work from home so I stay locally most of the time. I'm really happy with this car, I would say it is literally the perfect daily everyday car!
@@peruvianheat2053 this is my 3rd accord and I absolutely love them as my daily! I go into the office 2-3 days a week downtown Chicago so the hybrid with the ride comfort and nice simple but enough tech in the interior makes me happy too!!
Just bought my very own last night too in Black!! What a beautiful car!! Congratulations!! Side note: I agree!! Honda should do better with that wireless charger. It always disconnects and essentially doesn’t end up working!
Congratulations! Black color does look very good on this generation because it blends the front grill so well!! You’ll enjoy it. And yep just order some cables off Amazon for your phone haha
Haha 2JZ is golden!! But I’ve actually always been wanting to stay away from the turbos in general cause of the stress they take on. And in general the lag that comes with turbo is always so noticeable on any of these new turbo charges even when I drive the 330i, G70. Like it’s fast afterwards but when you absolutely need it right away it lags lol. So the electric motor for the win!!😂😂
I bought a 2023 EX-L last March and love the car. It drives like a knife through butter. I agree with some of the cons about dropped features with then generation: fog lights, homelink, 240 w stereo vs. 180, driver's seat rear pocket. etc.. I think the EX-L comes close enough to the Touring to recommend it for the highest gas mileage of any Accord Hybrid (46/51), rear vents and USB ports. I haven't had a chance to listen to the stereo on the Touring, and maybe that's good, because I would love a high-end sound system in my car and immediately want the Touring. Thanks for the great review. I look forward to more as you continue driving your new Touring.
Thanks for watching Tom! I agree ex-L does come the closest to the touring with most of the options. Yes a bummer indeed they stripped some of the useful options in the current gen. But, overall I can see we both love our cars! And Bose sound system is amazing! Haha
I really hate the genre of large rectangular tablets attached to the middle dash like this and the Tesla. It should be recessed in like a Mercedes. It's a deal breaker for me.
The absence of Homelink is one of my biggest gripes with this generation. I didn't even notice it at the dealership until I brought mine hime. THANKFULLY, Honda just announced you can now integrate MyQ with HondaLink, and for those that have a wifi-enabled garage door, this more or less solves that problem. I'm also a little disappointed that they didn't do the ambient lighting in the door handle levers like the previous gerneration, and am really surprised there is no ambient lighting other than the moon light over the cupholders. Not a deal-breaker, but seems like they would have carried that over, especially since they offer those things in international markets.
There’s lots of things I feel got missed too if we think of what Hondas had. For me the biggest was not having the Lane watch camera that my 2016 had and then took it away from 2018-onwards. But overall, I definitely enjoy my 2023 over the 2016 if I were to say the least. But my whole thing with the app is like man I don’t wanna pull out my phone, open an app and then open my garage door😂. Homelink from factory on the rear view mirror could’ve just came from factory haha.
You can get the Homelink rear view mirror as a dealer installed option for around $300. There are videos on the installation - you can DIY and save on labor costs.
Great video! As an accord, lover, and Honda fanboy myself, I appreciate your very personal perspective on this vehicle. Great to hear all the details of your ownership experience. Would love any updates on that ownership experience in the months ahead! I’ll be subscribing.
Good vid… you’re doing well and getting the hang of presenting content. However I have two small corrections about your info… 1. The touring and hybrid badges are in fact available from Honda in black.. they’re about $50 each… I’m about to order all three. 2. The EV button is an action button as well… if you press and hold for a few seconds it puts the car in battery charge mode to fire the engine to top the battery off and or diagnose an engine issue that the motor has to be running to figure out.
Appreciate you correcting me on it! Thank you! And haha I did realize that about the EV button yesterday and was planning on covering in the next video with a few more things and I’ll be sure to mention you:) also, I’m gonna ask Honda for the other 2 badges cause back in June they told me no and didn’t even appear in accessory add on list. Again, I absolutely love your feedback!!
Ppl hate on this generation accord cuz it’s not fast but they don’t understand it literally does everything else well. It’s the perfect family sedan and commuter car. Great ride quality, great steering and handling, great fuel economy, a lotta space for every passenger, and a big trunk, just does what cars are suppose to do reliably
Solid! But in all honesty I hated it too when I first saw it haha. But that’s with pretty much every redesign until it grows on you as you see it more haha unless it’s mad beautiful from the get go haha. But yes, I agree with you!
Thank you for creating and sharing this video!!!! I love all you point out and your enthusiasm, and your car with all the blacked out details to offset the white! I’ve been meaning to get my windows tinted and the look of your car inspires me to do a similar look to mine. I bought the pearl white ‘24 accord touring hybrid back in Jan, coming from an 08 ford fusion -which I loved, but it was time😂 for an upgraded daily driver for my work commute, important to me was something reliable, good on gas, zen, and I personally like the look. I do wish it had power folding mirrors too, and for me some more ambient lighting inside, and that the rear headrests were adjustable for when I hook my car seat covers to protect it when taking my doggos with me 😂 but minor things for ultimately I bought the car, and it serves its purpose, and I love it. It has a masculine handsome look to it and has somehow attracted compliments from a wide range of lots of people with different preferences, styles, and ages, people who’ve been in the car with me or just viewed it in passing, at how they admire the car. I do love it, not just the look but its reliability and practicality but also I felt the look was important too and it all worked out. Coming from my first car which was a ‘97 Honda Civic which was such a solid car hondas have been through time and I’m back for it years later 😅just sharing. Keep up the reviewing, and thank you! ☀️

Currently having an hugely dificult time picking cars atm. But if you had the choice which car would you pick 2023 ES 300h or this Touring? Im currently on the market for an car that has good noise isolation from the highway but I'm not sure if its worth getting an lexus or this is good enough. There is a little bit of a premium in terms of insurance getting an "luxury" vehicle. Also great content btw!
Hey! Thank you for the compliment!honestly, They’re both good cars for what they offer. I’ll give you a few pointers based on my knowledge and hopefully that can help a little more in your decision making. 1. Honda vs Lexus isn’t necessarily a neck to neck comparison. One is luxury from the base and the other is edging into luxury but still universally mainstream. 2. Cost up front will be give or take $10-$12k difference once everything adds up. 3. New accords (11th gen) driving dynamics are massively improved, cars are quieter, smoother, better shocks, acoustic glassing etc but Lexus offers that as well. 4. Accords are not midsize anymore tbh cause being ~200 inches long it’s a boat practically so you and passengers get loads of room. ES300h would still be slightly bigger and wider tho. 5. Accord touring has all the technology a common man needs imo in 2023 for a lesser price tag. If ES300h isn’t fully updated on the interior and the latest Lexus technology yet like the NX then your Accord touring’s tech stack would be better and more advanced 6. Now comes the brand satisfaction because are both reputable and reliable however one brings more prestige simply because you can say to yourself I drive a Lexus vs I drive a Honda depending on if you’re the kind of person that cares about the social status. Please lmk what you end up deciding cause I’m very curious now and I hope this helps a little!!
I have the 2024 touring. Very smooth ride. The seats however are terribly uncomfortable for me. I’m actually sore from it. Can only hope it will settle in a month or so or I’ll add a low profile cushion for the longer trips. My 2014 accord seats are very comfortable even on 8-10 hr trips. Baffling.
lol it makes me laugh why are people so interested in license plate and what are you gonna do with that one bit of public knowledge 😂😂. It’s public knowledge for those that see it in person very simple 😜
Honestly, I had thought about it a lot but civic still doesn’t give the same options I wanted that accord touring gave for example the interior finishes on some of things, fully digital gauge, bigger info screen, etc. but I still love the size of civic a lot
Coming from the 2023-2024 Honda Accord competition. I owned a 2023 Toyota Camry LE. This Honda Accord is an beautiful car. I love how you added your touch to the car. I hope that this Honda Accord will last you another 8+ years.
this car gets a lot of complements compared to my old 10th gen. 10th gen owners keep hating on this car since they are stuck with their "sporty" family car
I hate that every day too haha. But if that’s like one of the only things you’re ruling it out for. I’d suggest to bargain with the dealer and get the accessory installed for a discounted price. It’s available as a dealer accessory
Haha I never called it a fast car cause it ain’t for sh*t😂 but because of the electric motors I enjoy that I can merge and switch lanes rather quickly compared to my previous 9th gen accord haha
No hybrids are not turbo lol. Non hybrids are turbo which is EX and LX. Mine is a non turbo 2.0L ecvt hybrid. My last accord was also a non turbo non hybrid cvt. Single handedly put 90k on it and still own it. Pretty reliable
lol but it’s not 50k; you gotta bargain and can stay under 40k or close to 42k usd with taxes. That was my case too. I gave the figure for those that don’t end up bargaining. My actual OTD price was under 42k🙃. Also ain’t nobody forcing you to get an accord g😂 don’t get it if you don’t wan it haha
They dropped the ball with this accord the 2018-22 are the most best looking accord i ever seen. i wasnt even in the market for a car i am looking at 4runner 2025 or 2024 toyota tacoma. my dad has a accord 2022 touring hybrid i wish they made an AWD accord if they did i would've bought it from jump. also how come your accord doesnt have the drive nutural park push buttons its a shifter?
You liked it? I'm happy mine has a traditional shifter cause I like to rest my palm on it lol. It's been a habit of mine because I learnt driving on a stick shift so I always need a shift knob to rest on haha.
I have a feeling it’s a 50/50 split now or maybe even higher for folks wanting SUV’s for a lot of reasons. Space, Cargo, adventures, family, riding comfort and height(depending on the car). But yes I’ve always been a sedan guy at least for my own daily driving
Can’t be if I hide em lmfao. But yes obvi they are cause all cars get driven on the streets😂. Only those that see in person will know that’s my thought process behind covering it :)
Idk why they don’t think like we do haha. A bigger civic design would’ve been really nice actually. I’ll be very honest with ya that there are some days where I take the blandness as simplicity and minimalistic design and some days I absolutely hate it😂😂. Angles matter😅😂
I can’t believe Honda removed the courtesy lights on the 11th gen accord 😒🤦🏼♂️I think I will keep my 10th gen until a refresh of the 11th gen or wait for the 12th gen accord.
A great review, currently in a 21 honda accord sport 2.0, im curious for the price were you looking into other brands? Im stuck between the 24 touring or the v6 camry..dont like the black trim on bottom of accord it looks cheap and cheesy in person. Im leaning towards camry so far which gets more power for same price with better engine, transmission and life of car will be longer than the accord. What mpg are you currently getting?
Hey, thanks a lot! And Nope after I cancelled my BMW 330i booking 2 weeks before delivery. I just went in and booked the accord again haha. The bottom trim on lower trims does look plastic but if it’s gloss then it’s not bad looking honestly especially on tourings. I’m at 7500 miles with my car now have driven in snow rain and sunshine, all grime comes off with my hand washing and it’s shiny again. V6 Camry are ~100 more hp clocking in around 301hp and I love the looks of the current XSE V6 Camry’s a lot, super muscular and sexy! However I’m not a fan of the dated tech of it especially the gauge cluster and the infotainment which practically wasn’t giving me anything better than my previous 9th gen accord. I spend more time inside the car than outside of it so I wanted a better upgraded tech stack over just the sexy design on my daily. A combination of both would’ve been perfect but hey it’s cool I’m happy! Haha. What do you currently drive? That can help you in deciding. Both from reliability and longevity standpoint are neck to neck, regular maintenance required, both have same safety features, similar cabin space, great daily drivers, long history of holding good resale value too. Engine and Power wise V6 XSE Camry is the winner simply because 1. It’s an 8 speed automatic so no CVT 2. It’s an AWD (if that’s important to you) 3. It’s 301hp vs the Hybrid Accord @ 204hp Your fuel efficiency will be day and night different simply because I don’t this it’s fair to compare a NA V6 to a hybrid but since you asked I average around 46mpg when combined on Sport and Econ mode and average around 51-53mpg if on normal mode and driving like a human and not an animal but I’m usually an animal with always driving in sport mode haha. As far as life of the accord being a hybrid is concerned, that shouldn’t be the worry unless off the bat you’re planning to keep the car for 20 years haha. You already have 8 years of battery warranty from Honda. I didn’t think too deep on that simply because I don’t wanna keep any car for more than 6 years max. I hope I was able to help a little. If you’re leaning mire towards the Camry, I say you should buy the XSE V6 Camry!! It’s a beautiful car and def good power for what it is in a daily driver and of course it’s backed by the Toyota’s badge of reliability and longevity! Pick a really nice color if you’re buying a brand new one!! Some deep colors and black contrasts make that car pop really well! Even a pearl white with black inserts is a good choice! Good Luck!!!

I used to not like the new accord design but I think its growing on me
Not having power folding mirrors, ambient lighting as a premium option pushes me to Acura and I think that was intended.
I agree and also the engine choice. The TLX was just too wide of a car for me plus the tech stack is slightly different in the TLX(a little busy inside imo). It’s a give n take, basically. I hope you go with the A-Spec model tho at least haha. It’s def a bold sexy car!
First video ever... immediately becomes his most popular video lol. That's awesome.
Thanks for the great review, in your opinion what is the best color on the Honda Accord? And do you recommend buying the hybrid version?!
White looks the best by far
how much for used bro if we will buy a 2nd hand 2023 accord how much cheaper than brand new one? btw really good video thx.
Awesome i got the civic 2022 touring it’s an amazing car no problems so far 😫
Congrats! You won’t have any problems in the future either haha! Solid choice!
What a beautiful car😮
How’s the tlx? Tuned it or done anything?
you played into Honda and Acura strategy.
Im just gonna stick to the touring sport hatchback but i wish it came with power folding mirrors and ventilation seats as well😅
I wish this had power folding mirrors too 😢
...& yes woulda also liked to have power folding mirrors
btw, you can retrofit power folding mirrors using parts shipped from overseas.
So much work though and I wonder if it’s gonna void any of the factory warranty?
yeah it was a lot of work, about a weekends worth. paid 1500$ for the kit , and sold my stock mirrors, so it ended up being 300$. well worth it if you need to fold and unfold often to fit in a small garage. and it just looks cool when it auto-folds when you lock your car, or when it auto unfolds when you touch the handle. and no it wont affect warranty for the rest of your components, but if these mirrors break in the future, you would be out of luck because the seller in taiwan does not offer a warranty. the warranty for the rest of the car is still unaffected though.@@Cartalks100
You got a couple things wrong.
Blind spot monitor comes with sport hybrid also Alexa as well.
Is Honda still making manual accords?
Oh I wish! They stopped back in 9th gen from what I recall. 9th gen was also the last gen to have accord coupes. I did read as a rumor that accord coupe might make a debut in 2025 again 😂😂🤷🏽♂️
Does anyone put gloves in a glove compartment?
Being from Chicago I always do cause winters can be harsh 😉
Solid car, definitely one of the best among daily driver sedans. Clean and competent design. I drove it, performance is not bad at all. Would have liked more details on the toilet paper roll otherwise great thorough review man!
Haha, I’ll be sure to cover more on the TP in a future video. Thank you for watching!!
Congratulations l purchase a Spanking Brand new 2023 Honda Accord Ex Platinum Pearl white With All black interior on May 30th
You didn’t mention reliability so you only care about looks and not substance ?
@@2004cyrus the whole idea of going with another accord after owning one for 8 years was the reliability my friend. Honda along with Toyota both bring reliability at core. So it manifests itself. But apologies if I forgot to mention it in the video.
Honda makes some of the best cvts, responsive without that drone lag, quiet and reliable. Yes I know here comes the hate about being cvt being worst transmission ever made blah blah …. lol Nissan has given them a bad rep with the track record of failures for years imo
You Sir are very right!!🔥
@@Cartalks100 thanks 🙏 hope you’re enjoying the new whip
❤
The Honda Accord touring hybrid is a fantastic vehicle. Fantastic value and overlooked. Congratulations. The naysayers are dumbarses.
Haha thanks my dude!

For 35 k you can get a Mazda 3 turbo with better quality interior
Don’t get me wrong Mazda 3 looks sexy and interior is also very fresh. But it’s too cramped in the back and when I go to Canada in my car I always have a passenger or two in the back.
@@Cartalks100 I have the 3 premium and for the price you get a bang for your buck
But ur car is unique man not many on the road bc the price lol congrats tho
My God, I thought this was a new Police interceptor vehicle! Honda ruined the Accord for AARP clientele.
Ha!😂 but hey that clientele can opt for an LX trim in black or silver color cause there’s no beige color anymore🥲
@@Cartalks100 Seems like a BS comment these people post on something they don't like. Happens a lot on EV/Hybrid videos.

it does not do a 6.4 0-60 lol not even close, it's above 7 seconds, closer to a mazda 3 22k base.
@@Cartalks100 Looking online it does put down 0-60 times in the high 6's. Though if Honda is claiming 6.4 that's bogus. I was mistaken, my bad
@@roboticvenom1935 you’re good bro! It’s always good to test out what the company is claiming so we can fight them back haha

I’ve always had beige or gray interiors:/
Now I can’t stop thinking about this😂
@@Cartalks100 For some reason, alot of Japanese automakers do it.

Like the chrome around the windows? I had it done at the same shop as my tints haha. I didn’t do it myself myself
Bro so sick!! Love this!!
I didn't like these at all when they first came out but then saw a black one on the road and it looked very sleek.
Black is definitely the best color on this gen.
Engine swap it with a J Series or 2JZ and slap a twin turbo on that bad boy 😈
Haha
You can't go wrong with honda or toyota
I absolutely hate the styling of the new Accord. I'm shooting for the 2024 Sonata 2.5T.
There are videos on the installation - you can DIY and save on labor costs.
yep, it was gonna cost me $450 with the labor so I opted out of it.
@marksimonds13 yeah I shouldn't have to opt into that basically-standard feature on their top model. My 22 had it built-in to the mirror.
@@DL1011 I most def agree! cause my 2016 had it built in and it was the ex. I was bummed too but then i'm like ok whatever haha.

Thank you for the support! Good to have accord fanboys unite haha. And for sure on the ownership experience ahead!
I anyone thinks this car is ugly, or worse looking than the previous gen, you're wrong.

this car is fucking beautiful
Haha love how you’re seeing it!!💙 some days I love it and some days I just wanna look past the exterior and just sit inside😂
can you buy that rear wing from after market and install by your self?
I’m not a fan of the design the 2022 model looks so much better 😢
Yea u buy it to be cool what u think that’s what it’s for to be sporty

2. Cost up front will be give or take
$10-$12k difference once everything adds up.
If ES300h isn’t fully updated on the interior and the latest Lexus technology yet like the NX then your Accord touring’s tech stack would be better and more advanced
Baffling.
I feel like these are just wide for no reason tbh. I wish they were a little more huggy
Great video bud
covering your plate while making a video yet its in public view all the time
lol it makes me laugh why are people so interested in license plate and what are you gonna do with that one bit of public knowledge 😂😂. It’s public knowledge for those that see it in person very simple 😜
This car looks badass
im waiting for facelift sonata 2024
Why not get the civic? Other then your preference for looks, you can save money, still fit people comfortably, easier to park etc
Honestly, I had thought about it a lot but civic still doesn’t give the same options I wanted that accord touring gave for example the interior finishes on some of things, fully digital gauge, bigger info screen, etc. but I still love the size of civic a lot
Looks like ford taurus
Coming from the 2023-2024 Honda Accord competition. I owned a 2023 Toyota Camry LE. This Honda Accord is an beautiful car. I love how you added your touch to the car. I hope that this Honda Accord will last you another 8+ years.
Waiting on 24 refresh one
Hey! 2024 has no refresh, 2023 and 2024 are identical. They are available at all Honda dealers now.
Somehow they went backwards on the design
Or simpler🤷🏽♂️
this car gets a lot of complements compared to my old 10th gen. 10th gen owners keep hating on this car since they are stuck with their "sporty" family car
I was looking at the touring because of the features but hate they took away the homelink garage door opener
I hate that every day too haha. But if that’s like one of the only things you’re ruling it out for. I’d suggest to bargain with the dealer and get the accessory installed for a discounted price. It’s available as a dealer accessory
So basically, the car is slow when you made that highway speed comparision lol
Haha I never called it a fast car cause it ain’t for sh*t😂 but because of the electric motors I enjoy that I can merge and switch lanes rather quickly compared to my previous 9th gen accord haha
Did you pay cash for it?
I would never bound that much cash towards a liability all at once haha. So nope
Small engine that’s turbo charged and cvt -not as reliable as it used to be.
No hybrids are not turbo lol. Non hybrids are turbo which is EX and LX. Mine is a non turbo 2.0L ecvt hybrid. My last accord was also a non turbo non hybrid cvt. Single handedly put 90k on it and still own it. Pretty reliable
50k usd is close to 70k Cad XD. I aint gonna pay 70k for an accord
lol but it’s not 50k; you gotta bargain and can stay under 40k or close to 42k usd with taxes. That was my case too. I gave the figure for those that don’t end up bargaining. My actual OTD price was under 42k🙃. Also ain’t nobody forcing you to get an accord g😂 don’t get it if you don’t wan it haha
They dropped the ball with this accord the 2018-22 are the most best looking accord i ever seen. i wasnt even in the market for a car i am looking at 4runner 2025 or 2024 toyota tacoma. my dad has a accord 2022 touring hybrid i wish they made an AWD accord if they did i would've bought it from jump. also how come your accord doesnt have the drive nutural park push buttons its a shifter?
i dont know why honda get rid of those shift buttons for the hybrid touring.
You liked it? I'm happy mine has a traditional shifter cause I like to rest my palm on it lol. It's been a habit of mine because I learnt driving on a stick shift so I always need a shift knob to rest on haha.
i always wonder who buys suvs i have no slight interest in them at all
I have a feeling it’s a 50/50 split now or maybe even higher for folks wanting SUV’s for a lot of reasons. Space, Cargo, adventures, family, riding comfort and height(depending on the car). But yes I’ve always been a sedan guy at least for my own daily driving
FYI license plates are public knowledge 😂
Can’t be if I hide em lmfao. But yes obvi they are cause all cars get driven on the streets😂. Only those that see in person will know that’s my thought process behind covering it :)
one of the worst "upgrades as far as looks for the accord ever
Everyone sees it differently 🙃
Guys wait for the next iteration , this one looks so basic
Watch me trade it in too🌝
Fan of the previous gen, not so much of this one. Too bland of a design, wish they would have just made it look like a bigger Civic.
Idk why they don’t think like we do haha. A bigger civic design would’ve been really nice actually.
I’ll be very honest with ya that there are some days where I take the blandness as simplicity and minimalistic design and some days I absolutely hate it😂😂. Angles matter😅😂
I have the crv touring and is a freaking joy to drive. This hybrid generation is incredible. I wish they made a pilot with it.
does it have USB? I still have a device that needs usb. and is there reason why you put the floor matts inside the trunk?
I can’t believe Honda removed the courtesy lights on the 11th gen accord 😒🤦🏼♂️I think I will keep my 10th gen until a refresh of the 11th gen or wait for the 12th gen accord.
looks nice but not impressive.
That’s the point tho. They’re not really suppose to impress. It’s a daily driver 🙃
Just bought this yesterday and sooo excited!
LFG!! 💪🏽What color did you pick?
@@Cartalks100 urban grey!
very nice car, im conceidering to import one of those to europe beacouse thay dont offer them in hier
Engine and Power wise V6 XSE Camry is the winner simply because
1. It’s an 8 speed automatic so no CVT
2. It’s an AWD (if that’s important to you)
3. It’s 301hp vs the Hybrid Accord @ 204hp
Your fuel efficiency will be day and night different simply because I don’t this it’s fair to compare a NA V6 to a hybrid but since you asked I average around 46mpg when combined on Sport and Econ mode and average around 51-53mpg if on normal mode and driving like a human and not an animal but I’m usually an animal with always driving in sport mode haha.
@Cartalks100 Thx for the reply. I have a 21 accord sport 2.0 10 speed. I seen the 24 accord and I like the Touring black. I've heard the seats are more comfortable now. Overall it's a real nice car. I definitely would take better mpg over hp being that I get 24mpg in my 21 accord 2.0. If I end up getting thw accord it's cause of this video. Thx for sharing your car.
@@AG-yv8yb haha I’m glad I was able to help somehow but yeah don’t get it if your heart isn’t in it! Haha. Update me though with whatever you end up going with. Why are you getting rid of your 2.0T btw?
@Cartalks100 well wife had a 23 camry xse awd. Really don't want 2 camrys..I'm a honda guy. This is my 3rd honda accord. Car is almost paid off so I could grab a touring or v6 and wouldn't have to finance alot. Going Tuesday to see accord.
What do you drive on the weekends? Since you say this is daily? I assume Monday - Friday.
👍👍
do you have video or link where I can see how the region braking works?
How is the Bose and does it have a sub and if so, where is it placed?
Too much $$$
depends on what you're comparing with though.
That gloss at the bottom will be so eaten up with concrete block scars in no time
Just the model and color the Honda dealer offered me today. I prefer the silver color, but after watching this, may consider. Thank you for a great review.
Silver with black and white with black both look 🔥. Whichever you choose I’m sure you’ll like it every time you walk up to it💪🏽
