I agree with his mom, Chrissy has helped show the world that a woman doesn’t have to be a size 0 to be a GREAT actress in Hollywood. I first saw Chrissy on “American Horror Story”. She was so good on that show, but she is even better on “This Is Us”. The only problem I am still seeing is that she is still being type cast as the big girl. I’m looking forward to seeing her go on to play other roles that don’t type cast her.

I love this. I have not seen the show THIS IS US. But now I am searching for it. Thanks to Tyler and his mom for being the sweet loving people they always are. I too have struggled with my weight and am starting to get a handle on it through self love. I realize I kept my security blanket (weight) for a couple of reasons. One because it made me feel bigger and more powerful (small 5'2 girl here.) Also it made me less attractive to the men who I felt vulnerable with. So when I was bigger, I felt more protected. Now I am finding my power through my soul and my meditation. Which is huge!
They are absolutely right about tissues, I cried every show. What's crazy for me, these tears were not empty but cathartic and even though I was facing pain that was mirrored in every show, I came away with less baggage. One thing that will certainly help you with your weight loss is how they dealt with her weight. They dealt with it from her childhood until the end of the series. All I can say, this was the best series ever for millions of people, and I'm almost 70, so I've seen lots of t v. Just don't forget the tissues!
Definitely make sure you have tissues nearby! It's such a spectacularly written and performed show. I cannot imagine any other actors portraying the characters as well as their cast did.
