I went to a BLACKPINK concert in June this year in Melbourne, Australia. It was THE MOST FUN I HAVE EVER had at a concert, it was worth travelling to a different country for! I’ve been to a few concerts, but this one was my most favourite and they are incredibly talented and sounded amazing! Plus all their songs are bops! They also performed their solos as well, individually they’re so talented too!

I went the week after in Sydney, it was amazing and one of the best concerts I've seen. They have such a stage presence.

They seriously don't have a bad song IMO. They are criticized for having few songs, but its all about quality over quantity.
One of the best thing about the girls as a group is exactly as you said, no ego. There is no main or center, they all share the spotlight and love and support each other.

That was a pretty good video choice. It's from a few months ago, the last concert from the BORN PINK WORLD TOUR, which was held in Seoul, Korea. That's why it's the "finale", it's the last concert after touring for an entire year. Thw tour started in 2022 and ended in 2023. This concert broke the record for the biggest concert by a girl group in Korea's history.
And the BORN PINK WORLD TOUR is the biggest tour by any kpop act in history. Not female, actually among all kpop acts ever, their tour is the highest grossing and most attended.

Coachella 2023 ...typa girl, shutdown and pretty savage ...
it's fair to say every version has it's merits. it's not hard to see why this one is popular.
Here's my unsolicited explanation on which version, and why they get recommended. This applies to every group, but I'll use BP as an example:
Fans have their favorite performance, so they'll recommend that, but often, it's their favorite for reasons other than it being the best quality performance - their bias stood out for them or something. This version, the audio was bad, the camera work wasn't great, and the girls were beat. The reason Tokyo Dome and Coachella get recommended are because Tokyo Dome was meant to be a DVD, so the audio/video was highest quality, and Coachella was meant to be broadcast live (250 million people watched each night), so the same applies. Sometimes fans will ardently recommend a fan cam, which is always not good, but sometimes it's the only recording we have.
Lyric videos are recommended because you hear the studio quality audio and get to see which girl sings what lines and the lyrics are translated, and the dance practices are recommended because you also get studio quality audio and you get to see the full choreography.
The thing is, if you want someone to hear a song/group for the first time, you want them to hear or see it at it's best. For instance, if Coach was trying to introduce AC/DC to someone new to them, would he show them a video of a performance that was low quality? Of course, fans often think that their favorite version is "the best". This is why some fans will complain.
No, you're never going to make everybody happy, and somebody is always going to complain. This is the maze/minefield reactors have to traverse. I'm easy going, but a lot of fans are...not. ;)
That last paragraph is 100% spot on. 👌 However, we must admit the highest majority of people have been fantastic. For that, we are grateful.

BLACKPINK's "BORN PINK WORLD TOUR 2022-2023" tour is the largest group tour in history, it has already raised 260 million dollars with 55 dates, the tour has 66 dates so there are still 10 dates left to count, when Counting the 66 dates, they will probably raise 310 million dollars, surpassing the 290 million dollars of the ONE DIRECTION world tour that holds the historical world record, that's how big BLACKPINK is.

I recommend their TOKYO DOME live performances. Those were some of their best live performances yet in my opinion. I also hope they continure dropping their coachella performances form this year because they were really good as well. But they are all still negotiating contract renewals with YG so we honestly dk what is going on with the girls's future.

That was their world tour finale concert at Seoul, South Korea. I went to their concert on March 2023 here in the Philippines and it was one the best moment of my life. I've been hesitating to go at first since the venue was miles away from home but I'm glad I did go to the concert otherwise I would regret it for a long time. Blackpink never showed how tired they were whenever they're on stage. They give their 101℅ of their performance from the moment they started the world tour. I'm just glad I'm able to see them perform live🥰

I discovered your channel this week while looking for more BP content and really enjoy your reactions. I'm a middle aged mom who also became interested in in BP after watching their Light Up the Sky documentary a couple of years ago. The first m/v I saw was "How You Like That" and then down the rabbit hole I went. I really wanted to attend one of their US concerts but I live in Hawaii and had a hard time justifying the cost of flying to the mainland for one concert, lol. Then they released their Japan tour dates and by some miracle, my family and I were going to be there the same time they were performing in June. So I planned our trip itinerary around their Osaka concert and it was amazing! I felt a little weird attending a BP concert by myself as a middle aged person but I still sang and danced to every song. 😀

7:05 I paid ALOT to see blackpink at the united center in Chicago October 2022. The line to get inside was sooooooooo long. The crowd cheering was thunderous. It was amazing to see the ladies perform live. I was especially captivated by Jisoo and it seemed to me she had the most cheers. Their tour had tons of performances and they did several encore concerts in several cities, 66 performances total for the born pink tour. They also had to fit in their Coachella, Hyde park festival (in London) and the yellow pieces gala performance (in Paris) during the tour. If you really have a lot of money, you can get a VIP ticket to go to the sound check and say farewell to the girls as they’re leaving the venue after the show.

the girls did phenomenal, I can't imagine what they must have felt during the show because it was officially their last concert for their born pink world tour. the tour lasted pretty much a full year and they performed EVERYWHERE. I remember people saying they looked tired in this last show and honestly it is understandable because they've been performing nonstop that whole past year and it was finally all coming to an end. right now, they're all getting the rest they need (at least physical rest) because they are still in the studio. Jennie and rosé are working on their solo music so that is exciting
Their job is very physical during the time their on tour. No doubt that takes a lot out of them.
I saw this when I went to encore in LA and it’s one of my favorite songs from them! I feel like their other song Really is like a sister song to this one. Similar vibes.
Not gonna lie they had way more energy in their LA Show than they did in some of their other dates. The Encore set they did is their Coachella set so it’s super dance heavy and I understand them being tired at some shows.
Rose did accidentally call us Las Vegas during the LA show and that date was also really good. 😂

On the whole lyric-video or live performance thing: You do what you feel like. And honestly, for a lot of the songs it doesn't matter which one, unless something very specific happened in a certain live-version or something. Me personally I prefer doing the lyric-videos (unless there is an MV) for a first time listen for Kpop, since I want to know what they are saying. I would imagine the next big roadblock on BP specifically will be "Pretty Savage" from "The Album". They do have some great performances for that one, but the lyrics are... well, pretty savage, so it might be fun to catch those as well. Just do you, we'll enjoy it either way!

Imo live always better, They show energy, dancing, fan particiate and band live as well. The downside is no lyrics. Sometime the song is much more meaningful with lyrics understanding, especially the last two songs of the Album.

We currently have no plans for the boy groups. We feel the girl groups with the mostly male classic rock on our channel gives a good overall balance.

Under $300. I don’t think you can even see them clearly like tiny ants since its a stadium arena. Unless you get tickets superfast but they tend to be sold out too fast. Gotta look on the jumbo tron. 😂. But usually blackpink pick the biggest stadium for their concert for that city or country. Not all groups can do that being if they picked a giant stadium and only half attend then they lost huge profit. So it depends on the artist market value also. I tried to go to a taylor swift concert this year and tried to get the $160ish ticket but sold out then those people try to upscale the ticket to $800. Evil!!

Yes this was the TOUR Finale. So a year in like 60+ cities around the world. I think they were finally exhausted. As a HUUUUUUGGE BLINK, I must say this is one my least favorite songs of theirs. Still love it though!!!
