Cimmerian berserkers do the job just fine in less than 60seconds on the boss. I have the predatory blade(dropped in unnamed city) and the “night-stalkers mask”(also unnamed city) both equipped though- mask gives night vision rather than trying to farm Argossean dream dust in the East. The berserker sped up the time so much. There’s a spawn point in the mounds of dead for a berserker if anyone needs a little extra help through the game. ;) Great walk through, thanks for guiding!!
Thank you! I think the Berserker is most people's go-to thrall at early/mid game. I like the stalkers mask as you can equip it as needed, but the dream dust sometimes lasts a bit too long. Still trying to get the predatory blade in my current Livestream playthrough ☹️ and thank you for sharing your tips!
Nah I tend to use the Relic Hunter Treasure seekers. Where I setup my first base it's not too far from Set City and the Bar Dungeon. So you clonk out 4 of them slap em on a wheel of pain outside the city and in a few hours (more like a day) you got 4 OP thralls ready to rumble. Some even come with hardened steel or star metal weapons. Just as always crap armor but that's easy to remedy
@@gmoneyop2736 it's not cold at all. Once you get in side there's no temperature to worry about. The hardest thing is corruption. Every hit you take you gain some
Yeah, there is one Thrall Berserker that is in the Water who spawn's every 15 minute's on the right hand side and is also alone. I build a small base about a few hundred feet from her and farm all Starmetal weapons and Cimmerian Armor. Very good thrall. I'm now using a Relic hunter thrall with the weapon The Shank, nothing stopped her so far.
Thanks, i was so bored and frustrated with the maze of the Black keep and completely confused. The loot box was empty and I didn't realize you had to tap X on it after it was freaking emptied!
I'm late to the party as always. I finally tried the Black Keep a couple of days ago and got totally lost. The King of all the Rotten shows us the way as always. Thanks R.J.
Nice vids and guides you do ! Nevertheless, guides are watched by noobs mostly, not vets, so never forget to show the map locations and important loot items. Thanks a lot, subs.
Not necessarily true that only Noobs watch this. I've played this game since it came out I do watch the vids like this to refresh my memory. Especially this damn dungeon which is like a freaking maze. I haven't hit this dungeon in a while so I chose to go at it again. Then got lost lol
I usually do the witch queen first. Her weapon and armour are the cheapest material cost armour and weapons at level 60. I used to try for Silent legion at 50+ to farm Obsidian in the volcano for gold. But lately I wait for level 60 & witch queen. There may still be an under water path, where you jumped down. Last time I tried, I needed spicy food, and hot drink. Plus pet tamer Teimos's diving helmet for longer breath. No real benefit, I just hate fighting my way in. Another important clue, always head toward the light. Your path is lit by light. In the beginning each lorestone taught one piece of the silent legion armour. But the base said, that was too hard. I only mention, because that same base complains the game is now too easy.
I did a quick look around for the underwater path that leads in/out from the Black keep, but didn't see it...not sure if I missed it or if it's been patched out☹️. Thanks for sharing your tips here.
I believe you need black ice, heavy padding, elephant hide, maybe another item off the top of my head....I will be covering that in the next vid coming out tomorrow or Wednesday.
Rottonjon.. Just got done with this quest, your vid was a big help. Might I add something plz. I took the time to head over too the East part of the map to Buccaneer Bay, the animal tamers there drop this stuff called Agrossean Dream Dust, I grabbed a hand full of that. Helped SO much in the dark dungeon. I had about of 6 of them and did fine seeing. Only time I used a torch was too keep warm on the bridge, otherwise.. no problem. I also had Dalinsia with me so that was a big help as well. All that being said, your vid was great to say the least.. Thanks again, and God Bless
If you're having a hard time with the boss just use a 1 hand + shield. Every move can be blocked and just run out of his range to regen stam. Solo'd him that way!
Thanks for the guide. I did this before I was lvl 55 so I couldn't learn star metal. It told me I must learn star metal to use this. Do you know if I'll have to go back through or if it'll pop up once I learn star metal?
7:04 What kind of sword? How do you spell that (trying to look it up)? Can this trip be made solo or do I need to recruit a couple clan members with a couple more thralls to do it?
The sword from the kingsocurge at the black keep dungeon? If so, that's the Telith's Sorrow sword... there's also Telith's Lament sword but the Telith's Sorrow sword is better.👍
Also, you can do this with a half decent thrall...just take your time and keep in mind that it is kinda easy to run around in big loops) get lost a few times in the dungeon.
Good video. Straight to the point but the editing when it came to the boss fight was lacking finesse. Quite choppy and unwatchable during that section but good video nonetheless
Thank you, you are absolutely right about the ending....What I thought was good at the time didn't portray what I tried to pass on. I'll try a different approach next time.
Any recommended setup for running the dungeon? I already have heavy hyrkanian set (not paying much attention to the stat bonus) and thinking about crafting war axe and throwing axe for whirlwind just to CC them
On my first trip to the black keep, I try to remember to get the outside ones before I leave the area as they are part of the journey steps. I think it's easier before going in as the Skelly's will have respawned by the time you finish inside the dungeon.
God damn chest with key... probably ran around in circles for 20min before looking up this guide. TY!
Took me a bit before I figured it out when they first introduced that dungeon

Loved the background music and great walk through

Thx for the guide. Followed it through with no problems!
Thanks! Glad it helped👍
Bro! Best walkthrough ever ! Just got this shit on the first try! Thank you!
Glad it helped!👍
Clear and concise. Perfect walkthrough.
Thank you👍
This EXACTLY, so many walkthroughs are like 90% BS fluff, he just gets to it, hitting the nail on the head and just "Do this"
Nice walkthrough! What materials are needed to craft the armor?
I believe you need black ice, heavy padding, elephant hide, maybe another item off the top of my head....I will be covering that in the next vid coming out tomorrow or Wednesday.
All of them
Can’t wait for you next vid!
I'll have the next vid out in a few hours!👍

thanks for leading us
I use to sneak in threw the water entrance saves some time too.
Great, concise tutorial on the black keep. Every player should see this.
Thanks! Hope it helped👍

I am so glad I subscribed after I found this video (I learn things backwards 😅
Guess I'm teaching backwards😆

You'll be able to use the recipes as soon as you get the star metal. You should see them as unlocked in your feats tab under armors and also weapons.👍
Nice sound track

@@rottonjon Thank you! Awesome news. Going to give it a try this week in that case. Thanks for the reply and great vid!
Thanks for the vids they help alot
Nice this looks like a jobs for the snowhunter
Dalinsia will do real good in there!👍
@@rottonjon her with the legendary festering axe is a nasty combo bleed +poison. May it never get nerfed.
Awesome combo!! And I agree 100%...NO MORE NERFS!!
cheers bud

You are the man rotten jon
Any recommended setup for running the dungeon? I already have heavy hyrkanian set (not paying much attention to the stat bonus) and thinking about crafting war axe and throwing axe for whirlwind just to CC them
Your setup should work...just be careful of the King scourge attacks. Good luck in there!
So do you have to get the two stones on the outside first before getting the other one inside?
On my first trip to the black keep, I try to remember to get the outside ones before I leave the area as they are part of the journey steps. I think it's easier before going in as the Skelly's will have respawned by the time you finish inside the dungeon.
Why is an item like that key not in a closed chest that people would look at? Or at least lit up with a couple torches, ugg.
what armor are you using in the walkthrough?
Dark Templar armor I think it's the epic version with dye used on it
@@rottonjon awsome, cheers mate
What is the name of the song in the video? I love it
Sorry, don't remember the name. It's from UA-cam audio library under "rock" section and "dark" theme
Awesome videos
Thanks! Glad they helped👍
Man that looks so hard
Once you get used to the layout, you can run through it pretty quickly. It can be pretty confusing the first couple times through it tho.
How cold is it in there?
The dungeon isn't freezing cold...but the bridge near it requires good cold gear
I play a lot of destiny so I just jumped straight down in the water first try
soloed him by pumping him with set arrows. he moves really slow.
Nice!!
show map dude..
Shows trap doors but doesn't show them. Do not do guides and act like everyone has been there before.
