I found your channel a few days ago and have been binging your videos while I work during the day. They are very calming and comforting. What also helps is your exquisite home color palette. Very colorful and vibrant, yet not overwhelming to the senses. Your videos are just lovely :) I hope you'll be able to find some true connections. I can relate to the lack of friends. Most of the friends I used to have either moved away or have young kids, so it's just my husband and I. I also think work is so draining for most people that by the time one gets home, you just want to be home and rest. In the little time we have left to recharge, it takes away the time we could spend making new friends/nurturing existing ones. It's a tough balance, and I think is a symptom of a larger problem with the direction society has been going and workplace stresses.

Work takes so much time of our lives, that it has become extremely hard to find energy, joy or even the means to do other things - things that are extremely important for a healthy brain and a healthy life. It’s definitely a symptom to a larger problem, and our bodies are sadly paying for it in the long run. But I also think a shift might be coming, slowly but surely, as more and more people are starting to realise that we can be and feel better than this, that it shouldn’t be this hard to survive and having our basic human needs met. This is a topic I’m super into and love to discuss + read about. There’s so much to say about it, so I’m gonna stop myself here, otherwise this will be waaay too long. I’m sad to hear London’s the same, I’ve heard this too from a friend who used to live there. I guess It’s an unfortunate consequence of living in a big city. The good part is that there’s so many people, that eventually the right people will start to show themselves and stick around, hopefully 🤞
