the sad reality is that the level of own production is yet to catch up with what is objectively needed. When, no one knows, but not in a short tern for sure. That is quite a monumental task so we have to be fair and realistic about what a small relatively poor country with huge budget deficit can do. Russia is not fighting a special operation as they say, Russia is a maniac , obsessed with expansion and owning everyone around that. Countless Deaths, endless destruction, they do not care, they are stuck on a theme like a donkey. And they have free oil. That is their perverted version of "putting oil to good use".
Do not know about new offensive but even the way things are - they are using grinding strategy - just throwing everything they have at the location, destroying all life there is - moving it, creating super strong defense. Repeat. Too much of an advantage. We can extrapolate it one year into the future, two years. More territory will be lost even without any major offensive operations. Who knows how much but significant portion. Witnessing destruction of a country in a slow motion,. That is what it is. For example even today.. how many arial targets came in? How much recourses needed to intercept? How much did it cost.? Then damage. Just last few days of damage to power grid they say will take years to fix. Next month power grid will not anything like it was thing month. Dynamics need to change. Even without access to classified documents one can tell that dynamics not even close to parity - Ukraine losing recourses at the faster rate pliantly because it is smaller. Good Generals can win little bit here and there but law of averages takes hold no matter who is in charge.
