Managed to get the K1 SE recently and the camera for it. Could not find any documentation anywhere on how to install the camera, but found the cable hiding behind a piece of foam on the right side, as seen in the video at 6:00. The printer in general works perfectly with really good print quality and speed compared to most other printers I've seen. Very good :]
Got it a couple days ago and have to mention: 1 Creality sells it now on Amazon through their official store. 2 AI Camera is in fact compatible with this model but cable is behind a piece of foam so buy without worries 3 IMO it's better having more choice even if naming is confusing if you can tell what the differences are by looking at their specs on website I don't really see the real "problem" that youtubers constantly refer to. 4 Really excited to have a cheap alternative to core xy that doesn't suck, in countries where we have to pay import fees this machine is almost half the price of a K1C, if you consider this and the fact that it can easily be modded to be a K1C I think this is one of the best Creality deals of the year :)
Totally fair points and well made. I genuinely had no camera cable on mine but I’ll update the description since so many other have had theirs. If you got the printer that is right for you… that is all I care about.
I also have a k1se, haven't had a single print fail for anything the printer did. No fails, no issues, for the price if you don't want to print more than petg and pla its a solid machine imo. ALSO there definitely is a cable for the camera you are just looking in the wrong spot, it's hidden behind a little plastic piece that pops right off
I actually bought the k1 se about a month ago, honestly it has been very good, I have around 50h in, using orca, took some time to get it just right, but so far had 0 issues and no failed prints
I did as well and I love it. As I stated in another comment, I bought the camera, freaked out looking for the cable, went to the place it’s mounted and? Well the cable is under there. All you have to do is plug it in. Second, I was damn surprised there wasn’t an “enclosure kit” but? I got two acrylic side panels that I’m mounting and found you can buy the door from the Creality store. The last thing to resolve will be the top which I’ll draw something up this week. Bottom line I got a CoreXY printer that is actually iterated through from the first one which was a veritable shit show. NEVER buy the first of anything unless you relish being the companies beta tester. I’ll be printing ABS shortly and, btw, don’t try selecting that in Creality Print because they must’ve decided the K1 SE can’t print ABS, which is ridiculous. I tried everything, searched for an answer on their forums, nothing. Then I switched my printer profile to the K1C and was able to pull up ABS. Fun stuff. My printer costed me 350 bucks and? I totally dig it. Rooting it tonight or tomorrow and as this guy said, moving over to Orca as I move forward.
Fantastic to hear. I hope you saw from this that the printer itself is OK. Because it’s another K1 and I do like the K1. But Creality themselves are a mess
@@FauxHammer LOL, yeah as I said, I understood what you were putting down from the get go. Two things on that I think are relevant. One, a strength is they iterate, they show time at the drawing board. I think they could clean the line up and not release every time they get an upgrade or two and stick to major releases for sure. Also, and this isn’t racist, as an IT guy I’ve worked beside brilliant Chinese people who are a pleasure to work with but? They are in a company and being driven, 24x7 to produce produce produce. This, causes so many issues and you see it, constantly. The thing that kicks my ass is, even so? How many American, European, Australian, man pick a country, where else do we get 3d printers from? It’s been high time for a long time for other manufacturers to enter the race but no one is showing up. Prusa is there, still charging high prices for, ok what has been proven time and time again to be superior products… But we need more. As a USA citizen all I see these days is how we’ve become the biggest consumers of the worlds products. We used to be the biggest in creating/manufacturing. Anyway, I digress. Thanks for the response. My K1SE will be fully enclosed by the weekend and truly I’m blown away by how well it performs for 350 bucks.
@@FauxHammer I agree, I just thought you were bit harsh. But I do agree for the price you can get a Bambu A1 which could do the same and is more beginner friendly. but for a core xy printer there isn't much options in this price category with this performance and reliability. Creality does have a lot to work on, but for people who have experience with calibrating and maintaining printers, I could go as far as saying its an excellent deal for print farms (given you get through the hassle at the beginning)
@@Elshanawany Yeah I was harsh, but put it this way, you know the bits like the camera I talked about, Which it turns out everyone else has and I promise I do not have the cable.. I emailed them and asked them a few questions. Guess what, they completely ignored me. And as for "performance and reliability". I'll hear the reliability argument in a year from now when we have a wider pool or historical users to get a gauge from. It's the one thing i can't review on any printer due to time, but history has shown me that Creality and reliability are 2 words that are rarely used together positively in any sentence.
Oh my, what a pickle they are in. I found your channel a while ago and just love your down-to-earth approach. I want to get into FDM as a way to create models on my railway layout in 4mm. I have collaborated a few times with Crealty on their lasers and scanners but not on any FDM. Your report scares me, lol. Anyway, I fear liquid and have only ever printed once on an old Anycubic 2n gen unit. I know you really fancy the Bambu machines. I started looking at the mini, and I was told the A1 is better as it has two support columns. Then, as it is an open-frame unit I wanted to have it in my outside garage / doubles as my studio. It might well not be good if it gets too cold, especially as unheated, just some overall insulation exists. Heat can not be left on at night. So I need a cabinet unit, enter the P1s. If I took the A1 indoors, then cats may be an issue, and any smells will affect my wife's Asthma. So again, maybe the P1s is the answer. I am so very confused. It is not so much the money involved, well, it could be as the cost has risen from 169 to 495. Then, the issue of the small interface on the P1s to that of the much better X1 or X1 carbon. The only thing I am sure of is that I only need the printer and not the extra AMS unit. I will paint all my models. Any insight to help me narrow this minefield down to a clear pathway would be great. and thanks for your insight in advance, cheers Paul
To mitigate extruder clogging, try reducing the printing speeds. A poorly tuned 'fast' profile will work inconsistently because it's pushing filament too quickly through the extruder in relation to the retraction moves required for a particular model e.g. one model will succeed, the other will fail.
Thanks for the review! This printer seems like a great alternative to the K1C for anyone on a tighter budget. From what I understand, the main differences are the lack of the AI camera and the enclosure. Those features mostly matter if you want monitoring capabilities or need to print temperature-sensitive filaments. That said, you could always add the AI camera later or build your own enclosure if you decide you need them. If you’re just printing PLA and PETG, this seems like a solid choice over the K1C. You’d save some money that could go toward extra filament or spare parts. Am I missing something here? It feels like a no-brainer if you don’t plan on printing ABS or carbon-type filaments.
Can't wait to get this and upgrade absolutely everything of it. Has anyone also buy the printers to at the end ending up only with the frames because everything else is upgraded?
Great video with one understandable mistake. There is a foam piece that can be removed where the camera cable would be and if you remove it, the cable is there you can install the camera and it works perfectly without any further headache. Given how this is not documented anywhere I’m not surprised it was missed.
Believe me, I looked. It was in my K1, I know where it is. As But this is the second comment I’ve had suggesting this. So I can only imagine maybe they added this when they realised or it was not in mine?!
In the market for my next FDM printer and I have a Creality Ender 3 Neo am so tire of the sheet of paper tramming. Was looking around and honestly this Creality K1 SE was a possible choice but now I think I will leave it alone. I don't want to be tinkering with the printer. Thanks FauxHammer for your work and dedication.
No worries mate. But remember. This is just one opinion and I did say I like the printer. It’s ok and at a good price. I want to be clear about that. But Creality are too much of a mess.
Bought a V3 SE on release and instantly regretted it when they released 2 more versions of the V3 which have more features for a very similar price. Now im looking to upgrade to an enclosed printer and i think its clear i'll be choosing the Bambu P1S over the Creality K1/K1C. What a shame.
I don't like creality either, but I think you may need to change the video's title. Make it "Ranting about Creality and the new K1 SE, with some review" LOL
Another comment to note that my K1 SE absolutely had the camera cable pre-installed. Creality AI Camera connected to it perfectly and worked immediately.
I've personally had very little problem with creality printers, guess I've been lucky and finally got the K1 max (using faux hammer code) and it's the mutts nuts and want more of them when I can afford it.
I don’t know why businesses don’t take a leaf from Apple and have fewer models to choose from it massively simplifies things for the consumer. The effort saved from not having to make and market so many variants can be put into making things more user friendly.
Kinda glad just bought a bambu labs A1, creality's seemingly multiple websites looks like a complete clusterfunk for listings for average at best printers
@@FauxHammer … the retail sales channels have been a mess for ages but fixing that should be simple for them, it’s literally just the confusion between the official Creality and the official Creality reseller sites, but I can guarantee that the official reseller won’t want to let go of that ‘we look like we’re actually Creality’ status. The product range is massive but their problem right now is - like all other manufacturers - that BL have come along and raised the bar, very much like Prusa did previously, and now they all really have to up their game massively to compete. It will probably end up with BL falling behind in the same way that Prusa has (I do hate that Prusa seem to have fallen by the wayside but it is generally the way of the world) but ultimately it is the only way that things improve for us as hobbyists.
Yea I had that opinion before I found the video but the video pretty much confirmed it, bambu labs website is just so much easier to understand and use
I don't know if you do a review on old printers, but I like to hear your opinion on Creality CR-M4, it was released 2 years ago and creality forgot it even existed. It lack any kind of support or upgrades and it's not even in their new slicer. The most frustrating part that it doesn't have a profile in any of relevant slicers such as orca or prusa
@FauxHammer it worked fine for a while. Got some good prints. Then my error rates went through the roof and I struggled to get a decent print. I just quit out of frustration. Just couldn't get it right again without upgrading everything.
@@FauxHammer I mean, I'm glad I got them cheap and was able to learn on them. But they were just so unreliable. Every time I needed a quick print, I got an involved project; figuring out what magically went wrong with the printer since the last print. Then Bambu came along and all that went away. I finally had the tool I needed, instead of the constant chore.
@@woodsy899 Literally describes both of my Creality machines and actually their whole business model. Because they would just release a new version of the same machine with some small thing fixed that was busted in the last one and introduce some new bustedness to keep the process churning. It's madness.
Creality's strongest point is to lower costs so that the competition can lower theirs. I just bought 10kg of resin for 70 USD. It's a shame it's expired a month, but it still works.
I chose a Creality K1 over a Bambu last year, around this time, due to pricing (400 vs 600 for a P1S). I regret everything, and these guys are yet again, making a product nobody asked for, with all of the problems. Is the K1 SE still super VFA-heavy when printing in usable print speeds? When will they learn?
What error did I make? 4, k1 printers, each using the Creality filaments with their profiles.. multiple extruder clogs.. I’m happy to admit it’s potentially user error. But what was my error?
Don't worry, the K1SE Neo will be next. When the k1c came out, they should have dropped the k1 og in favor with the SE and be done. Agreed way too many versions.
Hey again Faux.. so let me get this straight.. there was a printer in this printer review? XD Joking aside most your critique was fair.. Creality needs to get their secondary websites ( i had no idea about the off brand site.. crazy they are allowing it ) under control and quality control has fallen well below what standards should be. As a result they have lost alot of consumer trust and rightfully so.. saw it in another video 'hard to earn but easy to lose'. From a positive they do seem aware.. app is improving and the K2 seems to getting a fair positive reception so far.. will have to see. But on the other end I swear Bambu users are out here trolling in force like they have something to prove haha. Never been anything wrong with bambu? Y'all forget the A1 recalls? Can't think of a reason to go with anything other then a bambu? Perhaps because qidi, creality etc offer bigger volumes that bambu does not and even when they will it will almost certainly cost 2-3000 out of most reasonable people's budget? ( and yes there are many other reasons.. walled garden etc but this is already a huge post ) Competition in the industry is good for users this slap creality needed is a good example. Heck bambu is working on a large volume unit because other brands have proven there is demand for it they aren't 'trend setting' haha. Any yeah love the work as always Faux keep it up. 😊
Thanks man. I mean the difference in the A1 example is prime Yeah the A1 fucked up. Bambi recalled it. The K1 was fucked up. Creality ignored it and released the K1 C
5:14 so you bought a CNC machine and can't figure out panels? I'm not trying to be mean here but the entire point of these machines is that you can make almost anything, so what there isn't a upgrade kit? Use your brain and make your own panels, make your lid and make your door. It's good if you want a k1 but you want to save some money/customize. Now I'm not a creality fan by any means, my only printer is a cr10 max that came from a machine shop that thought they were broken,, it's actually a really good machine but my next printer is going to be a qidi q1 pro or max because it has a heated chamber and doesn't cause localized earthquakes when printing.
You totally missed the point, a printer at this price point which has so much QC and basic issues is not worth it SPECIALLY when their whole marketing was about how reliable it was, we arent in the 3d printing era when you were expecting to know how it works and how to mod it, we are in a competitive market where ease of use and quality is a top priority, things creality has failed to accomplish again and again. If you really want a machine whose "entire point is to do almost anything" just get a voron lol, "not trying to be mean..... use your brain", jerk.
It depends what you want in all honestly. The printer is fine, as I referred people to do, check out my K1C video which is more positive, and that is just a better K1. Going off the opinions I already made. Yes. This is a decent printer. But Creality are a mess and it’s putting people off their machines.
A bit puzzled this one would get chosen over a 5M pro from flashforge, for example, or even a P1S at black friday prices... I can honestly say I stopped looking at creality products because of their very odd naming and batshit crazy distribution of information for their product releases. zero confidence in them.
I hate Creality's mess of a lineup...and why on earth are printers like an Ender 3 v2 still available new on their site for a price WAY too close to some of their MUCH better v3 lineup (confusing mess as that is, too)
@FauxHammer they made too many frames and maybe other components under the k1 line and need to get rid. So they made a low cost part that used up their stock.
Looked at Creality but just like you said, not noting what you were actually getting I went with Bambu labs that has printers that were easy to sort through and pick for what suits me best and they were so good I bought another one. Sorry Creality. But get it together. You lost two six hundred printer purchases.
Creality trusting on the FOMO of people and hoping everyone will keep buying each and every new iteration of their printers, or an official-but-not-creality-themselves reseller of a spinoff of one of their models. So the obvious thing is to just keep on releasing 20 models per year, at a minimum, either by yourself or through the official-but-not-creality-themselves reseller.
@@FauxHammer For me, as an professional engineer, who owned or owns, Creality, QIDI, Ultimaker, Bambu, makerbot and many more... Creality is the best semi-profesional or semi industrial printers. The flexibility and affordability of their parts.... if you know what you doing you can transform it to industrial quality printer. Yes it wont work with Ultem, but it will be just on that level of accuracy and non problematic printing.
@ and I totally support that. There is such a huge community of tinkerers out there that will love these. But there’s also a community of makers who don’t care or want to. I try to make it clear there’s a split and which side I’m on. But it’s also quite a grey area too with some overlap both ways.
Creality has always had terrible customer service. This is one of the reasons why the consumer is to be expected to tinker with 3D printers and learn how they work. No customer support. All you have is the community and yourself to figure out problems and fix it yourself. Creality has not yet made 'plug and play' 3D printers. The industry itself has only begun to enter this realm. Buyer Beware!
Creality has lost their shit after the Enders and CR10s. They are no longer important and are like all the shitty failing companies that just reskin machines they already have.
last P in Bambu Lab P 1 *P* means 💩, right 😅 When BL stripped down P1S (started from X1, actually), it was gold. When anyone else does the same, it becomes fool's gold?
Ya I just two days ago got tired of creality and there shit and machines posted my plus and 6 for sale and got a Bambu with there Friday sale. Never recommend creality would not repeat.
I can't in good conscience support Creality. If the facts listed in your video weren't enough. They have absolutely not given back to the 3d printing community for what they took. They are repeat offenders of open source license agreements. The whole reseller maze situation is just the cherry on top.
I get the dislike for licensing offences, but then at the same time… don’t Bambi do a lot of this too? And most people love them… This is the part of the industry I really don’t like getting bogged down in.
@@FauxHammer Yeah, all the Chinese vendors are guilty of this. Software is the only protection they have as the hardware can be copied overnight they really want to protect their "IP" even if it's built on "stolen" work. I understand why they do it but it still bothers me. I might be harsher on Creality due to them being around longer and violating GPL more than once, more recently with their sonic pad. Also I think the worse QC compared to Bambu probably paints them in a worse light.
Crealitys only strong point is stealing designs and concepts They copied every machine bambu put out there and proved why open source is an outdated model for 3d printers. Just imagine how fast they would have produced clones if bambu opensourced their firmware or hardware. Same with the slicer, bambu opensourced theirs and now creality uses a fork of that exact slicer (basically using it commercially) without supporting Bambu Sudio or OrcaSlicer developers, or giving back to the community with meaningfull additions and commits. It's a shame I love open source but the chinese marked, time and time again, never respects the values behind it and NEVER support the developers (klipper, marlin, prusaslicer, orcaslicer) of the software behind their success.
It seems so. But what I’m learning is that Bambu all but did the same with Prusa. It is an ethos worth supporting, worth protecting. But someone told me the other day there’s no real altruism in capitalism
@@FauxHammer Bambu initially did the same with their prusaslicer fork, yes, but with a little pushing they did respect the open source license and open sourced their slicer. But lets be real here: bambu actually made changes and improvements to prusaslicer. Its not like they only reskinned prusaslicer like creality (and others do) with bambu studio/orcaslicer... They still have to respect the open source licence but they actually improved on the soruce, not just stole and reskinned it.
No. I never said the only printer worth buying is a Bambu. This printer is OK. But Creality are presenting as a total mess. And that is reflective of their historical support for these machines

I have no idea why anyone would pick one of these over a Bambu. But then I have no idea why anyone would vote for Trump. People are weird. My little A1 mini is incredible.

The printer in general works perfectly with really good print quality and speed compared to most other printers I've seen. Very good :]
Yep, I just found it. Thank you.
Got it a couple days ago and have to mention:
1 Creality sells it now on Amazon through their official store.
2 AI Camera is in fact compatible with this model but cable is behind a piece of foam so buy without worries
3 IMO it's better having more choice even if naming is confusing if you can tell what the differences are by looking at their specs on website I don't really see the real "problem" that youtubers constantly refer to.
It's possible to add both fans to it?
@@FauxHammer for sure your supplier stole it also the manual and usb drive. mine comes with the cable and full accesories including manuals and a usb
This is so true, for example ln mexico bambulab is overpriced af, a bambu a1 costs like 75 usd more than this when its supposed to be a little cheaper
And yeah, i just got my k1se for 315 usd while the k1c costs 600 or more
It is frustrating about the "Official" versus "official" storefronts. Has Creality said anything about them?
I also have a k1se, haven't had a single print fail for anything the printer did. No fails, no issues, for the price if you don't want to print more than petg and pla its a solid machine imo. ALSO there definitely is a cable for the camera you are just looking in the wrong spot, it's hidden behind a little plastic piece that pops right off
It's possible to add both fans to it? Are there any cables to connect these fans?
@grzegorzdulski8768 fan cables are not preran, but the motherboard has the ports needed.
@@joshp8r Do you mean the socket for the plug is already built in? or does it need to be soldered? 🙂
@@grzegorzdulski8768 if you bought a fan and cable you could connect it straight to the motherboard 🙂 just plug it in no soldering
Another good review as always. I saw another creator review a K2 plus recently. I look forward to your thoughts on that one
Thanks! Will do!
So when not automatic bed adjusting/levelling.....then how to do it manually on this SE machine
To mitigate extruder clogging, try reducing the printing speeds. A poorly tuned 'fast' profile will work inconsistently because it's pushing filament too quickly through the extruder in relation to the retraction moves required for a particular model e.g. one model will succeed, the other will fail.
Thanks mate, good tip. I tend to just use the profiles they gave me.
My K1 SE has the camera cable. I know because i installed the camera on it and it works great.
there is a cable for the ai camera hidden on the right side of the frame on top of the rod its hidden on the foam thingy
Yeah, a few have said and I updates the description. It’s not there on mine and I emailed them about it before the video and they never replied

I don't like creality either, but I think you may need to change the video's title.
Make it "Ranting about Creality and the new K1 SE, with some review"

Another comment to note that my K1 SE absolutely had the camera cable pre-installed. Creality AI Camera connected to it perfectly and worked immediately.
Yep, a few have said this. It’s in the description now. Gutted mine didn’t have one

I've personally had very little problem with creality printers, guess I've been lucky and finally got the K1 max (using faux hammer code) and it's the mutts nuts and want more of them when I can afford it.
That’s great to hear! I did love the K1 Max, I do love Creality. I want them to succeed. But they need to get out of their own way.

Kinda glad just bought a bambu labs A1, creality's seemingly multiple websites looks like a complete clusterfunk for listings for average at best printers
It is far too confusing. And it’s great to see it’s not just me. Since I assume you came to this conclusion before watching my video.
There is a wire for the camera. It's in a plastic clip more towards the front corner
It was on my K1, I couldn’t find it anywhere on this

@@FauxHammer There is a black foam by the top of lead screw. Pop it out and you should see the cable.
So this made my mind up with going with the Bambua A1, lack of customer service after spending hundreds of pounds, nope.
Creality was my first and second FDM printer. Used them exclusively for 3 years before I bought a Bambu X1C. I'm never going back to Creality LOL
I have an Ender 3 Pro and gave up on it ages ago. I've just ordered the Bambu X1C today. It looks so good.
Unfortunately, I see this opinion too many times

You and I said "for f's sake" in perfect stereo.
When will they learn?
seems like user error, if you taking the extruder apart and getting constant clogs
Thanks, it’s unfortunate
agree on the website. I went to the website and couldn't figure what was going on
Hey again Faux.. so let me get this straight.. there was a printer in this printer review? XD
Joking aside most your critique was fair..
( and yes there are many other reasons.. walled garden etc but this is already a huge post )
Competition in the industry is good for users this slap creality needed is a good example. Heck bambu is working on a large volume unit because other brands have proven there is demand for it they aren't 'trend setting' haha.
Any yeah love the work as always Faux keep it up. 😊
Thanks man. I mean the difference in the A1 example is prime
Yeah the A1 fucked up. Bambi recalled it.
The K1 was fucked up. Creality ignored it and released the K1 C
The AI camera is most likely referring to the LIDAR camera.
As someone who wants to get into 3D printing, it's confusing, I just need a good budget one for under $500 AUD
I get the frustration but I’m here for a printer review not a company review. Still an informative video just not what I can here for
No worries. If you want a printer review. As I said, watch my K1C review. This is that, without the case on

@@FauxHammer¿Por qué no los dos?
I ran 40 Creality printers for years. It was incredibly painful. Absolutely NO support from Creality. Bambu rules!
I wonder if the Creality from Earth 435 is selling printers in our reality

I dont buy their printers. I buy their driers. And hook it to a bambu. The only viable printer option.
Looks like they tried to do a bambu and do a P1P, and failed
how
I hate Creality's mess of a lineup...and why on earth are printers like an Ender 3 v2 still available new on their site for a price WAY too close to some of their MUCH better v3 lineup (confusing mess as that is, too)
Looks like a over supply usage. Some type of stock run down product perhaps?
Not sure what you mean?
@FauxHammer they made too many frames and maybe other components under the k1 line and need to get rid. So they made a low cost part that used up their stock.
Looked at Creality but just like you said, not noting what you were actually getting I went with Bambu labs that has printers that were easy to sort through and pick for what suits me best and they were so good I bought another one. Sorry Creality. But get it together. You lost two six hundred printer purchases.
Thanks. I was worried this video would be far off the mark.
Pftt... For $50 more get an A1!
Well, unless you want a core XY and open source. I would make the same decision as you suggested. But this is an option for others
It’s so strange. If they didn’t do this, they’d sell more
or flashforge 5 pro
Does creality "creates" something? they should change the company name to "copyit"
Smells like a bambu fan :D If you know what you doing with the k1/k1se you can set it to be much better than bambu. GL with the blob of dead.
Yep, you pretty much said exactly what I did. These machines are fine if you know what you are doing and can even be a bargain if that's you.
@@FauxHammer For me, as an professional engineer, who owned or owns, Creality, QIDI, Ultimaker, Bambu, makerbot and many more... Creality is the best semi-profesional or semi industrial

@ and I totally support that. There is such a huge community of tinkerers out there that will love these. But there’s also a community of makers who don’t care or want to.
I try to make it clear there’s a split and which side I’m on. But it’s also quite a grey area too with some overlap both ways.
Good! Use your aggressive feelings, boy. Let the hate flow through you!.
I hole I didn’t come across too aggressive
Turning to _the dark side_ 😅
Creality has always had terrible customer service. This is one of the reasons why the consumer is to be expected to tinker with 3D printers and learn how they work. No customer support. All you have is the community and yourself to figure out problems and fix it yourself. Creality has not yet made 'plug and play' 3D printers. The industry itself has only begun to enter this realm. Buyer Beware!
This is basically a perfect breakdown about Creality. They just simply need to streamline and listen to people like you, focus up, and voila!
I hope they can understand that
I would just buy a Bamboo printer! There is far less confusion as to what you are actually buying!!! Creality, just doesn't listen to the customers.
I think they do. But they are a huge company and probably not quite in unison
Creality has lost their shit after the Enders and CR10s. They are no longer important and are like all the shitty failing companies that just reskin machines they already have.

For the money you’d be so much better off with a Flashforge.
Hmm, depends I think… they are more limited in other ways.
Good tech though. Outdated software.
And most people love them…
This is the part of the industry I really don’t like getting bogged down in.
Good video but terrible review. I don't know much about the previous K1 printers, and I'm not much wiser now after 11 minutes of this video.
Crealitys only strong point is stealing designs and concepts
They copied every machine bambu put out there and proved why open source is an outdated model for 3d printers.
It's a shame
I love open source but the chinese marked, time and time again, never respects the values behind it and NEVER support the developers (klipper, marlin, prusaslicer, orcaslicer) of the software behind their success.
