Everyone wanted me to do part 3 of reviewing bad BeamNG mods, so here you go guys. :D Take this as a Christmas gift from me. :D

As someone who actually owns a 1994 Renault Safrane, I can confirm that the mod has some realism.

fun fact: most of these missing mods and textures might actually be from lazy developers not making an actual attempt of keeping assets up to date with newer versions, which means mods from fake wierd websites could also have the same problems since yknow... they barely do any work and just yoink mods from others, this same problem may also appear with older mods, thats why an "outdated" category exists on the mod forums, incase you stopped updating a mod and dont want others downloading eventually broken mods

I respect the work the modders put in their mods and there is nothing wrong with not being the god of modding but they should declare them as "in development" or something and not just scaming people with pay-mods. Sadest thing is the Safrane because I would be pretty excited for a well made mod. Great video!

the thing with these mods is that they arent made with the intention of quality, they're not "in development", they're shitty mesh slaps, made to be as low effort as possible, because a good chunk of the 12 year olds playing this game wont know the difference between a well made mod that fits in with the game's lore, and a shitty roamer "trackhawk" mesh slap with a model taken directly from forza and about an hour of effort put into getting the jbeam to function, in fact barely any of the people actually making these mods have any sort of understanding for how jbeams even work, they just change mashes and call it a day

I find the Renault Safrane quite interesting, so seeing a terrible one is just sad.
The Trackhawk has never before seen features. I wonder if the engine works with all those textures missing xD

It's nice to see more Renault mods from the community, of course it would be better to see mods that work properly.
I use quite a few of the mods from the guy who made the Touran etc, mostly because he did a Golf Mk5 (which has a whole bunch of problems too but hey, it's my IRL car so it's cool :D) but I have never paid a penny for any of them because it's criminal that he actually charges you money. I can understand people charging you for well finished mods but just so many bugs/glitches/imperfections should be taken care of before you even think about putting them up for money.

It is baffling people half ass a mod for a game known for its detail and expect people to pay for it when you can find better mods in the integrated repo for free
you can adjust the seat position if u enable it from the camera settings to fix the driver seat position
As someone who works at Anti-Meshslap police, you did most of the work for us.
Jokes aside, i don't know how somebody can fuck up on a simple jbeam, you can just make a jbeam in blender in 10 minutes instead of making it the shittiest mod in the entire existence.

@@suougashuin9030not enough ram, the reccomend is 32gb and the min nowadays is 16gb. My friend has the same problem.
@@suougashuin9030 You should buy more ram because 8 gb is pretty small for a graphics card like you have. I have a gtx 1660 super and 16gb of ram and beamng runs good for me. If you want to run any games smoothly then 16gb of ram is what i would say is the minimum for smooth gameplay. A brand that i can recommend is Corsair. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

To be honest.....I think YL's Renault 11 mod(that he removed form his shop) are kind decent.(and only that one)
I would say it's his best mod. Only bad thing about it is the rear windshield which is not placed correctly :D
I actually think that the Jeep Grand Cherokee is like that because you got it free. It’s either a broken version or that it is an unfinished version

It is awesome actually. JambaJoe just STOLE this Cherokee from Kenemation (original author) and he tried to "update" it (or idk what he was trying to do) and he somehow made it worse. :D Because if you open the zip file with that Cherokee, it literally says "CherokeeFIR" (Firby is the original creator of that Trackhawk) :D
I guess I’m slightly fine with these being on the repository, but they aren’t even free mods, they’re 10-25 dollars, such a scam and a shame to the BeamNG modding community and people who actually work hard on their mods and yet still makes them free
in case you didnt know, when you grab a node, you can change the strength of the pull with the scroll wheel of your mouse.
The jeep trackhawk wasn't even made by jambajoe, but by kenemation. My man really just stole a mod and is selling it as his own while it's completely broken at an insane price💀

Honestly man, as bad as some of these mods are, just for traffic they aren’t bad. But to drive them yourself, yes, they are awful. Usually most of the no texture or bad deformation happens when you drive the car hard, or crash it. So just for traffic, these mods are great.

The worst thing is: people's dream cars are affected by this shit. That's why i do NOT want a VW W12 Nardo in the game, unless someone that makes dev-quality mods will make it, then i will like it.
I believe the sound of the Renault Safrane is already in the game, but it might be a without-exhaust version of it. It has to be some sort of a V6.

i do realize that the trackhawk mod was made by kenemation then sold by a guy named "Jamba joe" I do have Kenemation's trackhawk and its really good so the Jamba guy messed with some things about the mod

If you press Shift+C, you can move freely on the map, then press F7 and the car will spawn on the exact spot where your camera is at the moment.
