Oh man I feel this. When I visit my brother in Houston, I made him drive me to ALL the stores. Ulta. Sephora. Trader Joes. So many Targets. He eventually was like “ok enough”. USA shopping is next level!

I used to travel to the US about 3-4 times a year and always made sure an Ulta visit was in order. Right now I live about 2 hours from one because I’m fairly close to the US border and my friend and I do an annual Ulta / Target trip and I’m in heaven every time! It never gets old. I just love the selection of things we don’t have here or can’t get shipped here. I am like a kid in a candy store! I even have an Ulta rewards card and have saved a ton over the years just from a few purchases here and there.
They were slated to come to Canada JUST as the pandemic hit in spring 2020 so needless to say it didn’t happen and we are still waiting. They used to ship to Canada until about 2020 but don’t anymore which is frustrating because they could make a killing off of Canadian sales alone.
So glad you experienced the hype of Ulta/Target! ❤ When Canada had Target it wasn’t nearly as awesome as the US ones, so going to Target in the States is the best!

I love the mouthwash too- a hack (I travel a ton) is to buy a big bottle and just refill the travel one as you run out. Cheaper. :)

I was so excited for you to be able to get things here at Ulta, Target and Sephora that you can't get in Canada. I had a bathroom closet full of Touchland sanitizer gor the first 3 years of the pandemic. I loved it. When you mentioned driving over the border with friends instantaneously the movie, "Thelma & Louise" came to mind. 😂 If you know, you know! 😉
Disney Springs Sephora is very busy at all times! Love to go when in Orlando. 😂 I’m born and raised in South Florida and we have an Ulta on every corner almost. Now in all Target stores. Wish I had been there and could have met you. Very cool!

If we didn't have so much family that we adore, we (my husband & myself) would move there.
I love the Disney Springs Sephora! But wish I was a little closer (it's 45 mins, and it's the closest one to me). We moved to FL a couple years ago and my allergies and skin issues have been so bad! Took about 8 months to really get started and now I suffer badly every day 😫 Maybe near the beach is where allergy relief occurs, but not the whole state lol

Love this!!! Just back from our annual 3 weeks in Orlando myself. Your make up in this video is absolutely stunning! I usually go ballistic in Sephora but they have now opened them in the UK although they are not as good. I picked up the Money mask and the spray leave in conditioners in the same line. They smell GORGEOUS!!! Please do a video on this look. ❤️

Some of the spray sunscreens burn like crazy. I used Coola sunscreen spray to reapply my sunscreen; my skin was on fire for days.

Glad you enjoyed your trip! The Got2B eyebrow gel in the mascara tube is not the same as the hair gel in the yellow bottle it’s based off of. The actual gel is spectacular in the brows. I finally got my hands on the mascara version and was disappointed (watery and didn’t hold brows well). I threw it out. Don’t believe the hype, stick with the original. They’ve created a travel size version because it was used as a brow gel. That’s my recommendation.

do you have a preference between loose and pressed powder??? for example would you rather get laura mercier loose or laura mercier pressed?? i'm trying to see if i should get loosed or pressed (i have oily skin)
Oily skin here and I love both the original loose and original pressed powders from LM (the brown packaging). I use a brush to put it all over my face then press on with a puff on my areas that get really oily. I use all setting powder this way.

I try to use it only on special occasions
be careful with the aquaphor "trick" it can clog undereye pores/cause milia because it's so thick and not intended to be used all the time under the eyes. It's a good tip for a once in a while thing.
