The pitiable condition of under trial prisoners in Indian prisons is a well-known fact. Madhur Bhandarkar's Jail is the story of a bright young man Parag Dixit, who is charged for drug peddling after his friend Keshav Rathod, a drug peddler tries to escape arrest by shooting at the police. Parag's high street corporate lifestyle takes a 180 degree turn and he is forced to languish in jail as an under trial. Will Parag get acquitted and allowed to lead a normal life?

If it's in commercial quantity like shown in the movie plus a firearm obtained & also fired upon the police than it's a very serious matter in short 😂 lavde lag jayenge.

I was frustrated all the time seeing him at jail, but the last remarkable judgement burst all the tears within me finally he was free..i was not happy,i was so angry 😡, why the hell this happend to him,just put on his shoes and imagine the frustration he was going through..I hope this things never happens to anyone not even to my enemies ,unfortunately these injustice is still prevailing in our system in fact we r feeding it,through our ignorance , lack of fast track court, superficial investigations, incompetent lawyers and many more,u see this thing can completely annihilate anyone's life , and remmember , life is something that we get only once .....what a shame on our judicery system and the friends we make.. stick to your parents words "trust no one"and I am truly fallen in love with the character of his gf. I wish, i may find someonelike her as my soulmate.I have so many complaints... this comment section is just not enough for me...😡😡 also ffffff his parasite friend.

It also made me realize that the freedom to roam/live/move freely in society we take for granted, how it can appear so precious once it's taken from us. Post pandemic I was considering moving in with strangers in some flat in another city where I don't have friends. I'm reconsidering that now. Also, being myself affected by depression at times, I felt there are still many things I have which many others don't.. to not be thankful for them and not rejoice on that would be ungrateful of me.
