Does anybody else have the problem when crimes pops up only to instantly disappear or despawns right in front of you or for burning devil to pop up only for there to be no embers or symbiotes no one or is it just me.
The symbiote finishers have actually been disabled for you since launch after Peter loses the black suit. I imagine it's some kind of switch that got flipped to prevent those finishers from being present while w/out a symbiote Edit: When I say the symbiote finishers, I mean the ones that were shown off in the gameplay trailer a year ago
Really? In my original save, I still had symbiote finishers using the white tendrils. I will say that they only happened when fighting with Miles during crimes.

Still want a new update with a Black suit/Symbiote suit selection screen where we can choose the specific Black suit to wear and when activating the surge it transforms into whatever the suit is selected (for example you have classic black suit and when surge is on it turns into the Raimi black suit, or if you have a regular red and blue suit and activate surge it transforms into a black/Symbiote suit etc). With this change they could possibly remove the scripting for the Peter boss and have to fight him in the specific surge suit you have selected. Also would prefer to have scripted tendrils colours for each of the Black/Symbiote suits instead of just mix matching them. Anyone who agrees please share this comment with Insomniac pls!
Insomniac should fix Across the Spider-Verse suit. There’s nothing wrong with it, but I want to it have expressive mask lenses like Into the Spider-Verse suit.
Stfu. Only cause of a damn NG+ update delay the whole game even longer that took already 5 years?! Back in the days there were rarelly NG+ in games and people dealt with that and still were happy. I'm a 2000s kid and The 2010s are such cry Babys and cry about a lot of BS.
I hope they add an option to select which symbiote suit you get during the cutscenes cos ng+ ruined that cutscene where he gets the suit but I think they will fix a way around this because I’ve seen a lot of other people talking about this issue aswell

I hope they fix the symbiote takedown soon. But my big issue with it is the takedowns being rare. Even with my first playthrough I noticed that executing the symbiote takedown were very very rare. I would get excited when I actually do it because I barely perform them.
Look, I enjoy spider man 2 a lot. I thought it was game of the year material imo, but I feel bad for those who are experiencing problems with this game. And yes, I feel like this should’ve been delayed. Hopefully when that potential dlc comes out, it will also bring a lot of bug fixes as well.

I want a new update where they clal change the color and texture of the webs too, like in ATSV, spiderman 2099's webs has like a red outline to his webs, also to match different web colors to whatever suit, and to change the glow to Miles morales's Venom, Whenever you hold R1 it still glows yellow. lets also beg them to change and add more color of the tendrils.
The same jittering that the iron spider eyes have is the same on the black and gold intergraded suit and also when you’re in night time the iron spider lights on Peter’s ribs and hips are kinda blocky and blurry like the classic suit lines before the update
All I want, is to play new game+ where our suit ACTUALLY changes during the story when you’re getting the symbiote suits. SERIOUSLY they forced us to use ONLY the anti ock suit in the first game for the final boss. There’s no reason they couldn’t have done the same in the two time spidey got the symbiote
There are more random events like the portapotty one, for exemple a citizen's phone might fall in a sewer and you shoot a web to catch it and returnit to the owner. This shows that even if there are alien invasions or Russian hunters hunting him down Pete and Miles are still the friendly neighborhood spider men
What i would like to mention is that the classic suit for peter, the advanced suit and webbed suit has an issue with the lences. Every time you do an air-trick and webswing right after, the lences get wierd and gets positioned so it looks like you get gaps between the lences and the suit that you can see if you look right at peters face. Happens specifically when you do an air-trick and web swing. Does not happen if you charge jump, do an air-trick and land. Hope this gets a fix
I have noticed that if you have the symbionte suit on in NG+ in the "anything can be broken" mission, Peter will still have it on even after he takes the suit off in cut scene
I don't understand why people are not talking about the missing yank animations in scream and yuris second phase fight i mean its not a biggie but lizard had that animation of getting yanked they should check that out tooo
I hope that when they release the patch to fix the Perry it won’t be specifically locked to the iron arms, but I hope we can switch symbiote Perry and iron arm Perry I also saw the pottie in this game, it was hilarious
they could've executed the symbiote better in general and i feel like if they had just somehow replaced the web animations with smaller tendril animations it would've felt way more diverse. like with the web drag move, if they would've just turned the webs to tendrils, which doesn't seem like the hardest thing to do if it was something they focused on, then we would've actually felt like the symbiote was in our control fr. i've been using the web drag much more just to switch up combat and it made me think of this. it coulda been a relatively small detail that would've made a huge difference in gameplay. hopefully they do more in the venom game

I think the biggest problem I have with the game is that there isn’t enough side missions. I really enjoy playing random moments that are unique to each game and I felt this game doesn’t give you much reason to explore the city unfortunately I’ve stopped playing until they add dlc
I've been having issues with the narrator feature and the color feature coming up every time I get back into the game on NG+ and my finished game. After I turn them off they reactivate during game play, it's very annoying been wondering if they know about this happening🤔

Since the new patch I had an issue where when you change the suit for both Spideys and replay missions the suit changes back to the last suits you had on and is stuck in those suits on every replayable missions (both on NG+ and original saves).
Ppl complained that the symbiote suit would come on when they went into surge even tho they never had it on, and when they take it out ppl then complain that it doesnt happen😑🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️

I'm glad you said it. The game came out unfinished. And whenever this was brought up when the game came out, there was a lot of people who were in denial and would respond with toxic backlash. It's par the course for any fan community around launch of a new game. If there's anything wrong, those types of people won't accept any criticism and act like the game is 10/10. Spider-Man 2 should have been delayed. It's been half a year and I still don't feel like I've played 'the full game' yet. The game has been a series of bugs, DLC hasnt even been hinted at officially, the add-ons that came with New Game+ brought new bugs and glitches, and unfortunately, the leaks make the future seem even more in question in terms of plot and direction. Leaks aren't Insomniac's fault, but it does raise many questions about direction.

I feel that there's unfortunately a love-hate relationship on delays. If the developers were to have given me personally a choice to give me the game MOSTLY done with some bugs that they're willing to fix, I would say "give the game to me.. right now." That's pretty much what I think is the reason most developers release a product too soon (aside from bs from the company rushing). And then we have this expectation that everything is complete. Just bugs that we can easily miss instead
I think another thing they should add is no matter what suit you’re wearing in NG+ that the suit actually changes to the symbiot in the cutscene and as well as it gets into the game play after the scene. It just takes me out of the game a little bit because it doesn’t happen currently in the game. It would just be an awesome appreciated change.
I’m not seeing the eye lenses problem when I turn my game on. Though I do hope that it’s true that they are working on the ability to swap parry animations since I like to mix up the suits and abilities that I have equipped and I don’t like seeing alien tendrils come out of stark tech. It just looks weird and not right.
I wouldn't mind if the game had been delayed to early or mid 2024. Don't get me wrong, the game is awesome but could have been better. Especially with all those updates
there is one thing for me. from the beginning of the release, the neck of spidey in the advance suit 1.0, i noticed there is some kind of "buldge" or something when spidey turn his head. i think they should fix it too since it didnt happen in the 1st spidey game
What I find a bit annoying is the fact that I can’t have an option to chose if I want the spider arms or the symbiote to come out when I do the air abilities. Cause it’s kinda lame when you use a black suit like the rami one or the detective suit and it brings out the arms instead of the symbiote. Just looks so dumb.
If there is one thinh the across the spider verse suit needs for miles, that is this: the ATSV suit for miles has the same eye lenses like the into the spider verse suit, so if anybody knows someone who works with the the people who updates spider-man 2 every now and then, please let them know that the ATSV COULD USE change in the eyelenses for the ATVS suit to that Across the across the spider verse version

To me the lens in the iron spider suit looks weird, it doesn’t look anything like the movie or like a spiderman lenses. I don’t know if it is just me but that’s what I found
To be honest I feel that the game shouldn’t have been delayed but they could have added some of these features :- 1. More Side Quests around 20 or 25 2. Ability to create unlimited Web Lines 3. Peter’s angry Symbiotic Voice 4. More types of Crimes and ways to end it (like we only have 1 type of finisher for the car or truck chases) 5. An Arena like you can say Kraven’s Arena where you have wave’s of enemy and you get different different rewards for playing with either Miles or Peter. 6. Symbiotic Finishers (around 10-12) types. There are various more features I would be missing but these were a must! (Btw it’s confirmed that there is going to be a Carnage DLC because due to The Flames Mission)
you do realize that if you want more features to a game then the dev team needs more time to develop said features so yes the game should have been delayed,it's not rocket science

honestly a delay would have been better off for the game, I heavily enjoy this game have hundreds of hours on it and was fiending for this game to launch but if it meant for the greater good of the game I would have been fine with itching for a bit longer.
I feel like it would be a cool idea since 2018 spiderman 1 But what is when you do a perfect dodge and just when spiderman is about to shoot a web in the attackers face What if your able to input a button to shoot a gadget eg: upshot instead of the normal web?
idk if anyone has the same issue as me but since launch on the coney island mission i press triangle to sit down on a bench and i can't get off the bench without restarting my game. It ruins the flow when u are doing the story.

I had the same thing happen during Peter’s death scene. It’s so funny for the symbiote to take over and just put you back in the advanced suit.

I wouldn't mind if the game had been delayed to early or mid 2024. Don't get me wrong, the game is awesome but could have been better. Especially with all those updates
there is one thing for me. from the beginning of the release, the neck of spidey in the advance suit 1.0, i noticed there is some kind of "buldge" or something when spidey turn his head. i think they should fix it too since it didnt happen in the 1st spidey game

What I find a bit annoying is the fact that I can’t have an option to chose if I want the spider arms or the symbiote to come out when I do the air abilities. Cause it’s kinda lame when you use a black suit like the rami one or the detective suit and it brings out the arms instead of the symbiote. Just looks so dumb.

The game should have the same fnsm app where you can pick missions because currently you can’t pick specific crimes to stop
If there is one thinh the across the spider verse suit needs for miles, that is this: the ATSV suit for miles has the same eye lenses like the into the spider verse suit, so if anybody knows someone who works with the the people who updates spider-man 2 every now and then, please let them know that the ATSV COULD USE change in the eyelenses for the ATVS suit to that Across the across the spider verse version
i still like to have spider arms again. Although I wish to have a option to customize crime activities. I'm getting tired of fighting Symbiotes and hunters.
The game was released relatively fine. They gave it issues and glitches with updates.they fix one thing and ruin 3

They should make a patch where the symbiote finishers outside of symbiote surge can happen again in new game+ Becuz for some reason Peter never does the finisher anymore
I kinda like that you can use the the symbiote surge with any other suit its probably an intentional thing that was added tbh
To me the lens in the iron spider suit looks weird, it doesn’t look anything like the movie or like a spiderman lenses. I don’t know if it is just me but that’s what I found

To be honest I feel that the game shouldn’t have been delayed but they could have added some of these features :-
1. More Side Quests around 20 or 25
2. Ability to create unlimited Web Lines
3. Peter’s angry Symbiotic Voice
4. More types of Crimes and ways to end it (like we only have 1 type of finisher for the car or truck chases)
5. An Arena like you can say Kraven’s Arena where you have wave’s of enemy and you get different different rewards for playing with either Miles or Peter.
6. Symbiotic Finishers (around 10-12) types.
There are various more features I would be missing but these were a must!
(Btw it’s confirmed that there is going to be a Carnage DLC because due to The Flames Mission)
you do realize that if you want more features to a game then the dev team needs more time to develop said features
so yes the game should have been delayed,it's not rocket science
@@goncalo8388 yeah but it’s not like they can’t introduce these all things with an update! Update should be a major one of about 5 GB or 7 GB works for me but these features were a must!

I havq a problem in ng+ when i use simbiot abilities it is all white, i cant use simbyot cus it look ugly when i use abilities 😢

honestly a delay would have been better off for the game, I heavily enjoy this game have hundreds of hours on it and was fiending for this game to launch but if it meant for the greater good of the game I would have been fine with itching for a bit longer.

idk if anyone has the same issue as me but since launch on the coney island mission i press triangle to sit down on a bench and i can't get off the bench without restarting my game. It ruins the flow when u are doing the story.
