This is my favorite level in the game. It's just themed so well, and the song really fits the actions on stage. Plus, it's just the right difficulty, not the hardest stage to me, but up there!
This is, has been, and always will be my favorite stage in the game. When I first heard the song I thought “Oh damn, this is like dubstep heist music!” And here we are with a stage that fits that description exactly.
I love how this level is literally the showcase of how a game with good difficulty scaling should be designed. Shows you how to play it bit by bit, then throws it all at you in the end.

I found this level to be one of the easiest ones for me, which is funny because it's one of the last levels in Story Mode, haha. I absolutely LOVED the thematic spy influences with the SPOTLIGHTS and the LASER SECURITY, it's so fuckin cool. Big ups to the really clever level design here.
I honestly thought Cool Friends was the hardest level in the game. There’s way more unpredictable and harder to dodge RNG in that one. That’s just my opinion tho.
Now that I’m watching the full way through with this, I actually had a harder time with this level than you did. In the second phase, I had a big where 2 of the giant circles would still linger and stay in place when the crosshairs would shoot out xD (not sure if that makes sense, but I guess I can try and explain more if you don’t get what I mean :P)
Shocksidian I don’t know honestly. It could be some kind of glitch where the red hitbox duration is set to the same time as the crosshairs durations. It could also just be RNG for all I know, but I’ve seen it every time I get to that part of the stage.

They go like this: O () and then without going like | inbetween, it goes back to O. It's almost like there's a second moving light behind them

Try this is actually one of the only storymode levels that i always do in my playlists. Because: 1. The music, holy moly. It is Just jamming. 2. The level design, it feels like you are robbing a bank (that is what they were going for, i think) 3. Music and leveldesign combined. Every BUM BUM BUM! Goes with the flickering lights. Every BAAAAAA! Goes with the plusses. And the Ninja stars are Just... There
When I see people playing this game, I literally fell as this is a James Bond level. You use the secret passage (the broken things), escape from security (everything pink), and when you arrive at the crystal, it disappears and it's a trap. this is just the perfect plot for a James Bond movie and you can't change my mind
I have vivid memories of watching my ex play this round and having to hear “try this on for size mister” like 50 times because he kept dying around that time
looking at these comments shows just how differently people experience this game. I personally found this to be one of the easiest (and best, of course) levels, especially among the late story levels. I always found ones with lots of small bullets to be the trickier stuff. the end of cool friends always killed me, not to mention final boss.

despite how chaotic and tightly squeezing the last sections is, it felt a hell of a lot more doable than certain other levels. maybe cus of the size of everything on screen was just right, and especially doable once I got myself to be comfortable with being in the circles right up until they went. But still, fucking level that somehow managed to get me not to feel the strain of its chaos like some other levels do

This is my favorite non-boss in the game. It just felt so cool to go full mission impossible, and the last last part felt so cool to execute.
