Working on this kind of initiative now with my current company where we have contacts associated to multiple accounts as the relationships are super fluid (because we're a marketplace where individuals can do business with a variety of different companies on the site) so really for me it's understanding if it matters if the contact's primary account matters in the grand scheme, at least if we want to pull reporting because no contact technically is truly related, or works under these companies. Just trying to make an association to them.

In general, the primary relationship is definitely important because its (1) out of many that house the unique details about that individual. You may want to look into utilizing something like Person accounts or better yet create a "household" record type of an account so you can store stuff like billing information, etc. Again, without a full picture for how your product or billing works its tough for me to give any advice but glad the video helped man!
