I picked up a Z30 as a companion to my mostly stationary ZV-E10 Mk 1 and it's really so much camera for the price. I snagged the body and kit lens very gently used on eBay for $515 and also got an ETZ adapter and it handles my E Mount lenses surprisingly well! Only 1 lens doesn't play well with the adapter to allow autofocus (ironically a Neewer lens not communicating with a Neewer adapter), but my Z30 is the camera I use moving around most often. Great for wide shots on the tripod, great for vertical content, and my vlogging camera of choice currently. Combine that with the fact that the Z Mount library of APS-C lenses is growing in spades and Nikon makes great stabilized glass, it's a perfect start for someone to join the Nikon ecosystem!
i have heard the Neewer adapter not playing nice with half of the E mount lenses out there, and the list is too long for any reviewer to confirm which one works. Of course the Megadap is more consistent but it's a lot more expensive as well
No, the camera doesn't rotate the video. I use da vinci resolve regularly, so what i'd normally do is create a project and tick "use vertical resolution" so that the timeline is vertical default. After I add the videos to my timeline i still need to rotate it. However nowadays I don't make vertical content anymore (I have another channel) because it's not worth it from an earnings standpoint. 20k views on a short makes me less money than 1k views on a long form in that channel.
most of the strengths of the zv-e10ii are software based, from the AF tracking to 10 bit video support. In fact I'd even go as for to say it is for video only. No mechanical shutter is just a big disadvantage for certain genres of photography on a sensor that reads out slow.
Hey Exkurogane, my name is Johnny and I'm a freelance logo designer, would you love to have a logo for your photography business and your channel to have a brand image your audience can remember your contents from and also can be one of the merch print you can sell to your fans to buy and own and share the words about your channel too? Let me know if you interested and I would love to work with you to design these for you! :-)
Agreed. Love my Z30

If I shoot video vertically, how it will previewed on pc? Horizontal or still vertical?

makes sense. points are why it's better than zv-e10 ii. still it would have been better if it was smaller.
