The sixth (and last for the NES) title in the series.
Plot: 'Mega Man 6's story takes place after the events of Mega Man 5. To counter Dr. Wily's repeated attacks, the Global Robot Alliance was formed, and one year later the "First Annual Robot Tournament" is held in order to determine the world's strongest peacekeeping robot. The tournament is hosted by a man known only as "Mr. X," the leader of the mysterious "X Foundation" and many strong robots participate. Dr. Light, a pacifist, decides not to enter the competition, but sends the robotic hero Mega Man to supervise it. Before the event can begin, however, Mr. X announces that he has reprogrammed eight of the strongest contestants to do his bidding in taking over the world: Blizzard Man, Centaur Man, Flame Man, Knight Man, Plant Man, Tomahawk Man, Wind Man, and Yamato Man, and tells Mega Man he had been manipulating Dr. Wily from the beginning.'
This longplay replaces the old video since it had bad quality overall. I also picked up the secret Energy Balancer powerup (refills all your weapons at once by just picking up blue capsules) and took the alternate boss entrances in Tomahawk, Yamato, Knight and Centaur levels to unlock the Beat powerup, though at the end of the video I show the respective 'normal' routes.

    Fun Facts:
-Capcom had no intention of releasing Mega Man 6 outside of Japan due to the declining sales of the NES, but Nintendo had contacted them and offered to publish the game themselves but only in North America. So this MM6 was the 1st MM game in the nes mainline series not to get a physical release in Europe.
-Wind Man and Knight Man were winning boss design entries picked for MM6 done by North Americans folks
-This 1 isn't noticed by most at 1st but unlike MM4 & MM5 where Mega Man's buster charge shot has it's own unique sound, in MM6, the charge shot sounds like a regular shot :/
-In MM5 & MM6, they updated Mega Man's sprite of him shooting while on the ladder. His face now shows a little when shooting from the sides on a ladder rather than be completely turned to the side.

Those wind man and knight man entries were in an issue of Nintendo power that I still have. Clown man from MM8 is in there too

Esse jogo e o 5 , foram lançados no Brasil( Oficialmente), através da Playtronic, representante da Nintendo no Brasil , nos anos 1990.
Não sei onde você tirou a informação que só foi lançado na América do Norte, fora do Japão.

Pretty late for a release for MM6. Never knew this, until the collection came.

This is probably my favorite Mega Man on NES. Mainly because I think it's the most tolerable one in terms of difficulty and defined gameplay. Not to mentioned I love the Adapters & the introduction of Energy Balancer.

Aside from the slide not working as intended and the slow screen transitions it's a very decent game

Centaur Man was a Centaur Woman in the comic/manga.

Unpopular opinion, this is the second best Mega Man game on NES. Right behind Mega Man V. Those who hated it must be people who still think MM2 is better which it isn't

I would agree. Except I don't think Mega Man 5 is the best and Mega Man 6 is.

I have played MEGA MAN 1-5 on my old NES,
    but not this one.
I liked MEGA MAN 2 the best.
MEGA MAN is still a legendary classic.
MEGA MAN 3 is pretty good.
    MEGA MAN 4 was OK.
MEGA MAN 5 was OK, too.
MEGA MAN 6 seems kinda cool.
I mean, some sequels are good,
    and some sequels are bad.
    😺👍🕹️.

This was the least favorite of the MM games & the ending was great but it was the last MM on the NES. We got to see the 1st appearance of the Energy Balancer.
