The Egbas and ijebu were not 100% responsible for arms and ammunition for ogedengbe during the kiriji war, some Ijeshas had been sold to slavery in years past and were able to return back as elites and rich folks staying in Lagos like Sapara Williams brothers( the 1st Nigerian doctor and lawyer), Haastrup brothers. These families were very rich, educated and well known during those days, so they were the ones importing arms and ammunitions for ogedengbe during the kiriji war...
