The problem that always has to be mentioned is the mount slot it occupies. You might have an extra few seconds to deal damage in PVE, or a few seconds in PvP, but you lose whatever benefits the other mounts would've given you throughout the entire fight. You're basically without a mount the entire fight as the bonus doesn't quantify itself until you die. I would expect it to be a great counter to the annoying Cheetah builds where you clearly win the fight, but then the Cheetah burst kills you. Now it won't.
This mount should have been given to us thru the rush shop or at least the feather shop, I spent $100 trying to get the turkey mount, I can't spend $200+ again on this game.

5k pickaxes should net u like 1.5mil tech points so u could upgrade 1500% atk def and hp with that id say that better than 50 scrolls
