Man, that Sally Hansen in the blue bottle is the bomb!! I’ve used it for years, but finally had to start ordering online when it disappeared from stores. And I have cuticles like hooves! Lol It’s even good enough to pat on rough heels! The big bottle from Sally works great, but it’s just too thin and messy to deal with - you almost have to just pour it in a bowl and soak like the old Palmolive commercials. (anyone else here old enough to remember those? 😂)
I had to Google! It includes all the outtakes of two men talking about it softens his nails/hands but they can't get through it without laughing. Two guys on a coach so maybe they were spoofing it? Lol@@leapintothewild
I've used the Sally Hansen for years. I use it quite liberally and let it set for 3 minutes despite the directions. I don't rinse it off and it works great. I've tried the Blue Cross and it was ok but I always go back to SH. Thanks guys!
I’ve been watching your videos on cuticles, pnf, etc for proper care as well as tips and tricks. I want the skin around my nails to be as perfect as yours. Just got the blue cross remover today and look forward to trying it tomorrow.
My hands look and feel so much better since I searched for natural nail care video. Thank you. I don’t paint my nails but I do like a good pedicure. I only wish I can see well enough to do my own pedicure.
I love how involved your husband is!!I'm going to show this video to my significant other in hopes that he'll allow me to give him a mani! Thank you for making this vid!!!!
I see men who don’t do pedicures and manicures as being nasty and unclean, I’m a man. I do facial every day, when i don’t do facial for a week and push my nose backwards a lot of sebum (butter like) will ooze out, this is what men who don’t do facials accumulate on their face from year to year.
Not true. Guy who does facials once a year here. Gunk accumulates on your face due to follicular overactivity which you actively provoke by stripping your skin of natural oils too often. Facials and other superficial treatments will look and feel good in the short term, but ultimately if you don't change your diet and lifestyle (and environment), you're gonna have the unattactive stuff coming back to you. Wash your face with cold water multiple times a day. Don't paint your skin with grime and pollutants, but move out of the city. All your symptoms will go away. Stop wasting your time.
@@TheSalonLife @TheSalonLife PLEASE HELP! cause my cuticles and fingertip skin is so bad. The very tips of the top edge of my nail is always hard, like I bite my nails and skin, but I don’t. I made the mistake of leaving the Blue Cross on just a tiny bit too long and three of my toes got a bad reaction of tiny blisters. I even rinsed and soaked the skin for 20mins after feeling a slight burn...and nope, got the blisters anyway.

The ones where they really really dig into the cuticle to get that hollowed out effect and it exposes more of the nail bed? would you ever do those or are they a bit high risk?
I'm going to take a stab at the "liquid nipper". Some people like the look where the cuticle and all the epidermis is cut away with cuticle nippers. Maybe this is supposed to remove all this without having to use nippers. Some people may not be good with nippers but want the look. (Sorry I didn't get the name of that area right) :)

thats why I don't care for it. Its so messy to work with BUT it is the best so far. I have used all but that pink one. I also like the big one that didn't have a dropper.
Ah I see. Before doing a traditional manicure with cuticle remover I don't push anything back. The cuticle remover is supposed to soften the area so you can manipulate better. For dry manicures I push back the proximal nail fold, exposing cuticle and then I remove the cuticle tissue with a fine bit on a minimum speed.
Again, not sure what you mean? Dry manicure is a different technique. You need to push back the proximal nail fold to expose cuticle and then remove it. You are using 2 different tools for it. In traditional manicure you can do both with the same tool. Push back the proximal nail fold and then remove the cuticle from the nail plate. But it's easier to do it when the skin is soft from the cuticle remover.
For sure! I’m honest on this channel. I would say my preference is Blue Cross (a little messy though) or Orly Cutique (in a bottle with a brush) When I’m on a computer I will give you some links to me doing my nails with Blue Cross.

Hi Wendy. It's unfortunate you are going through this. The best recommendation we can give you is to see your/a physician about your concern. If it is something outside of their field they may recommend you to see a podiatrist. Take care, hope you find a solution to your issue sooner than later. - MSL
Liquid nipper is just like you said that it is like a cuticle clipper but takes off the cuticle without the cutters instead it does it in liquid form 😊
I do dry manicures before any enhancements. For polish I haven’t experienced any issues with nail polish. Mind you, this product has to be neutralized with water and wiped very well before polish application.
Nail brightener. I have my 3 favourite ones listed in the description box :). I do wear all 3 of them. The Pink Gel Coat is beautiful but it’s a hardener so I wear it now every 4th mani. I don’t want to overdo it (and cause my nails to be brittle)
Do you know if the Cuticle away has an expiration date? How long did you keep your bottles? I bought mine in 2020 it's still full as I stopped doing my nails for a while, I've been looking for an expiration date on the bottle with no success
Yeah you should ask a man who works with his hands all day. I'm sure you give your man manicures cause his nails are nice. Testing this on someone who never gets Manis and uses their hands a lot would be more easily seen which products work the best!
Hi MSL here. I worked in automotive/hard labour jobs for my entire adult career, also competitive powerlifting, and a nail biter for 30 years. I don't have nice hands or nails naturally because of my profession and hobbies (also because I really don't care). The reason my hands do look as good as they do IS because Anna does manicures on me. She uses my hands because they are bad. It's to show that with regular manicures/maintenance and good products you can have nicer looking hands even in tradeswork. This is a great example that her methods and product selection do work. Have a great day! - MSL

Could my cuticles be causing this?
I am truly at a loss. Could use some expert help. If you have the time I would really appreciate some input.
~Thank You~

Hi Wendy. It's unfortunate you are going through this. The best recommendation we can give you is to see your/a physician about your concern. If it is something outside of their field they may recommend you to see a podiatrist. Take care, hope you find a solution to your issue sooner than later. - MSL
Just got the blue cross one
It’s excellent. That what I use now
Liquid nipper is just like you said that it is like a cuticle clipper but takes off the cuticle without the cutters instead it does it in liquid form 😊
Love you guys. Thanks so much
Thank you ❤️
Lol I’m dying!! A douche hahaha you two kill me 🤣
Lol.
Team Super Nail all the way.
Blue cross for me
I use the sally Hansen one
Have you found a problem with the blue cross causing lifting due to the lanolin?
I do dry manicures before any enhancements. For polish I haven’t experienced any issues with nail polish. Mind you, this product has to be neutralized with water and wiped very well before polish application.
I just did every thing wrong ypu even can think about my poor poor nails🥺 thank you!!!
You are not alone :))
You two are funny!! “It smells like shampoo”
Would have been a better test on someone who had more cuticle to remove
Thanks for the feedback. Have a great day!
what do you have on yoru nails in this video, it's very natural and healthy looking.
Nail brightener. I have my 3 favourite ones listed in the description box :). I do wear all 3 of them. The Pink Gel Coat is beautiful but it’s a hardener so I wear it now every 4th mani. I don’t want to overdo it (and cause my nails to be brittle)
Kupa mani pro is the best efile.
I’ve never used it. Have you tried Erica MT20?
I use to use CND cuticle eraser or CND cuticle away. I liked both until someone turned me on to Blue Cross.
Do you like the Blue Cross now more? I have to admit, I'm liking it more and more :)
I do like the Blue Cross more now. I was surprised at well it works for it not being a gel consistency.
Do you know if the Cuticle away has an expiration date? How long did you keep your bottles? I bought mine in 2020 it's still full as I stopped doing my nails for a while, I've been looking for an expiration date on the bottle with no success
I don’t use cuticle removers. I feel they are useless. I use a cuticle oil and use the tools you used to push back my cuticles.
I'm confused why the one that is a Blue Cross product. Also someone's comment got me to Google those old Palmolive commercial!
The super nail one smells like hair products😂
- MSL
🥰
Do his toes!
Maybe we will, maybe, just maybe, I trimmed my feet for the occassion. Find out tomorrow during our UA-cam live video. (Normally 2pm EST but will be 3pm EST tomorrow) - Mr.Salon Life

Too bad with all of the toxic chemicals in all of them.
Hi Cheryl! Which ingredient are you referring to?
