It's really nice to hear a Wife of someone who belongs to the Seafarer fraternity to share her experience in such a positive way although negativities are in ascending proportion which kind of are a part of every human's life but physical presence is an enormous condition although suucessful Engineers/Management graduates/Doctors etc.are definitely present in dimensions everyday in a wife's or parent's life but somehow their commitment gets questioned due to their work criteria as they have to deliver in any way to save their job! But, for us seafarers it is kind of a boon that we can spend the vacation entirely with our loved n dear ones without thinking of anything else as we solved every misery at sea knowing what got to be done for survival to the fittest and that's where Merchant Navy or The Respected Defence field personnel share the same circumstances in terms of duty since any Country depends on them if being thought about, and the family time we get is so less that we make it a point to make every hour memorable. Hat's off to all parents, wives n friends who have stood beside us selflessly to take care of our family and yes, a wife of a seafarer has to be very brave as she knows each and every minute of seafarer is spent on something sticking to Archimedes Principle which if nurtured can invite death but no such principles are of importance on land. Hence, for people who think its easy life at sea or front, please focus and respect in what u have as the situations we face are unexplainable! May God

My bf is a 5th engineer and its been only 16 days at max and I am already torn apart mentally . I feel its difficult actually am having exams nearby and he used to support me and even teach me . we cant talk a lot either. So i came to this video to just calm myself down and ease my pain.

I'm dating a merchant navy officer, and we are planning to get married in a few years but I'm so nervous about it , i love him soooo much that's why I'm worried cause even after marriage he will have to leave for 3 to 4 months and i can't imagine how i will be able to live without him.
