well, you have to remember that the Celestial Dragons were the ones that ordered his assassination through Doffy. he literally says so when we see him attack Moria during Marineford. so regardless of whether or not he was loyal the nobles of heaven deemed him useless anyways

Instead of going from Point A to Point B, oda will go point A.1, A.2,A.3... etc before reaching Point B 😂
