I love how you make some humor out of your troubleshooting it's amazing what knowledge you have in fixing GPU's. I hope people understand how much time you put into making these videos You are the best m8
I really love how you go beyond what is required of you when you see the need to. I'm currently having some issues with a card that I've left with a technician for repair as his first repair failed and I couldn't help but notice that he didn't even do the simple curtesy of blowing out the dust from the heat sync while he had the card fully disassembled. Thanks for continuing to make these videos for us all to enjoy.
The Stranger Danger montage and the memory montage were beautifully done edits. I even liked the gaming video at the end and the outtro. You have a lot of skill both repairing and behind the keyboard in the editors seat.
What can I say to you Tony, seriously, only you could have fixed that card. Your dedication, your persistence and your skill is simply legendary man. I take my hat off for you Mr Wizard 👍
"Not todaaaaaaay!" I love the edits in this video. It's reenforced your good sense of humor, and how much fun it must have been to fix that other guy's faux pas. "Sub" in flux while reballing the GPU was stealthy! I never heard of disabling the GPU audio interface. Darn near forgot that GPU's had an audio interface. I guess Brand-X GPU's forgot about that too.

An epic repair. Am a console gamer with zero interest in pc gaming but I've been watching your gpu repairs and when my consoles need fixing you sir are my go to guy.
I am AMAZED and puzzled by this video! Amazed by your immense skills, the multiple-reball of ALL memory chips in one go was epic. The patience and persistence on this item is unbelievable. Puzzled because a 2080Ti sells for £350. You put a huge amount of work on that card which is also a no-brand. While it's absolutely fantastic that you managed to fix it, I wonder how much you can charge for such a repair! I don't meant to be rude or patronising in any ways, I'm just wondering how much profitable that can be. That said, this is an amazing video, thank you for that and well done! (and remember that Siglent has a web interface and VNC available! :) )

I don’t leave comments a lot but you seem like such a genuine dude with fulfilling and oddly relaxing content. btw I love the beat drop on the cinematic lift off of the core lol
From experience, most cards at least up until the 3000 series, not sure for 4000, the four spring screws for the cooler mount were always done underneath the backplate. This is because technically from factory the backplates were an optional addition and not a necessity, and thus the spring pressures are set for NOT mounting through the backplate.
This guy is just like me, we just don't know when to give up lol, but you are still better than me at graphics cards :) Keep it up, informative, entertaining, and honest :) I hope with all my heart your business grows even more each day
Dude, you're insurefably persistent! I know of a certain NOrthridge FIX where this would've been a NOFIX in 10s of looking, for 50 bucks + shipping, yet you take this all the way!
God I Just LOVE Re-balling videos. You're a master of your Craft and I'm absolutely positive you do not need Comments on UA-cam to know. Just enamored at the knowledge and methodology. VERY JEALOUS OF YOUR BRAIN 🤣🤣
I sent my RX 6800 away to be repaired only for the shop to keep my card for 3 months and send it back telling me they did not have the software to properly troubleshoot the card. Only thing that was done was a visual inspection of the card for cracks and burned components. Thankfully my wife just happened to be in his city for a business meeting and she picked it up. A waste of $50 in shipping and lots of time. Now I'm still looking for a reputable place here in the Philippines to get the card repaired.
Disassembling graphics cards, measuring various values, desoldering ball grid array chips, and soldering them back again, more measuring, then testing whether the card works ... That kind of stuff basically... :p
You need to open a video graphics tech school and pass on this gift, an on line course is a good start... I'm sure all would agree here, I'm thinking YES!
Ive been all through the google drive. Checked out the tabs on discord. I can't find the list of your equipment anywhere! Im v. intestedin that heating element set up for the reballing
Don't you have random chips and PCBs just popcorning on you during the reflow/soldering phases? Where I live, the humidity is always so high that if I don't preheat the PCBs and GPUs for a couple of hours at around 100C the usual result is a gpu full of bumps or the pcb gets all lumpy even before the solder is melted. It's quite depressing when that happens
How you do this and can charge enough to make it worth your time I do not know. This is mega high skill level stuff that takes forever. And you put the care into each repair is exemplary.
What is mad is how much abuse these cards can put up with without actually breaking. You can run them with the resistors in the wrong places, run them with broken connections, shorts and then during repair heat it all up several times over and over. Sometimes you'll get broken chips but you can just replace them with another and its fine? Then you fix all the issues and everything runs as id the card was never touched. I'd always thought of these cards and other conputer electronics as extremely fragile. One short while powered would fry every chip on the power rail, one diy transistor repair with the wrong value and it's straight to the e-waste bin. But actually, it's just a matter of fixing the issue and everything is fine? So crazy.
