Can't wait to try these, I've had terrible hip mobility for years and couldn't figure out why. I stretched all the time but I sit at a desk all day and I always felt like I needed something more.
Thank you all for the hay fever tips! Currently I'm using a Netipot a couple of times a day, having locally sourced honey and you might have seen me on my instagram starting to make Olive Leaf tea out of the leaves from Olive trees I come across on my walks since they're a really big allergen in my area as crude form of exposure therapy that is probably doing nothing 😂. I'll be going to an immunologist as soon as I can but from what I've read so far the best time to start therapies is a few MONTHS prior to allergy season, so I might have missed the boat there for this round.
Do some allergy test with a specialist that your GP can recommend, many of us have dust allergy that accumulate throughout the years. It get worst during spring as well. See if you get itchy nose or sneezing in dusty environment like garage or storage shed etc.
I can't speak for what's available in Australia, but in the UK there is a jab available for around £40 per 50kg of bodyweight (larger person would require a greater dose). It's supposed to help immunise you for the entire period. My uncle had it as he usually suffers awfully with hayfever and he said it was a lifesaver. Could be worth looking into :)
Rhinocort. Hands down , local honey is good but has to be taken a month before hay fever season to build immunity. Rhinocort contains a corticosteroid which opens nasal passage and allows pollens to pass, also pair with Zyrtec (antihistamines) which stop the irritation if any pollen becomes lodged in your nose or eyes. Everyones different so good luck. Keep up the good work👍

I wish I watched this way back. I spent like two years stretching my hipflexors not getting anywhere. They were allways sore/tight/loose and nothing helped, untill I started training them.
Dude you’re a top 3 resource of ALL TIME for fitness and coaching. You have no idea the hundreds of people I’ve watched that come nowhere close. My favorites are you, Jeff nippard, and Noel deyzel. Equally top 3
Most people want the details and context, but since you give them people don't tend to mention that they appreciate it NEARLY as often as people who dislike it will mention it. I appreciate it, though. Please keep it up.
for most ppl hip flexors are already tight/in the shortened position, so strenghtening it they will get even more tight pulling your lower spine even more, so in this case if youre already experiencing some lower back fatigue or pain, dont do this! strenghten your core and glutes!! now if you have a POSTERIOR pelvic tilt, then its alright because you need to improve your lower back arch.
I always watch the full video once it's new. Then I appreciate the timestamps when I wanna focus on something here or just come back later. But I also tend to re-watch videos in whole later on too. Thanks Uncle Eugene. 💪🏻👊🏻💯
For allergies... exposure therapy worked for me. Obviously, don't wanna throw yourself into anaphylactic shock... but whatever is getting you, get more of it. Hope it helps!
Here’s my seasonal allergy remedy which works great for itchy eyes and dry skin: Green tea facial steam. I steep a few bags and pour into a bowl. Towel over my head so the steam doesn’t escape and place my face over the bowl for about 10 minutes. It relieves symptoms dramatically for me and makes my skin feel great too. Hip flexors folks, don’t ignore them. After incorporating them into my routine (along with abb/adductor exercises) my squat went up and I don’t feel hip pain anymore either. Thanks Coach!
sir, your given detailed information about the topic is just like gold. i can not tell how much these information help me. These kind of contains are really priceless . I watch your all videos. THANKS
As an exercise physiologist, I actually like the nerdy verbose explanations that you offer. Oh, and most Americans suck at geography, unfortunately. LOL!
Hayfever tips: So I have ridiculously terrible sinus issues and I also work as a sensory expert (taste/smell), so taking care of my nose is super important to me. I use a Navage daily. It's a vacuum powered Neti Pot and will clean your nose out significantly better than a Neti Pot in my experience. Since it's mostly allergen specific, if you don't have an air filter of some sort in your bedroom, I'd absolutely get one. I also find a humidifier combined with Breathe Right strips makes a huge difference. Essentially the Breathe Right strips will keep your nasal passages more open during the night and the humidifier will help keep the area moist. Especially as you're using a Neti Pot multiple times, essentially the salt water, which is helpful for clearing out the allergens, also will irritate the nasal passages. It's annoying because it's sometimes hard to tell what irritation is caused by the allergens and what's caused by the salt water. So by using a humidifier and Breathe Right strips you can rehydrate your nasal passages at night so your nose doesn't get as dried out and irritated. Hope this is helpful!
Hello eugene, I recommend you try a ginger and turmeric tee: Just get raw ginger and turmeric (the roots!) and slice them up in chunks about the size of a inch cube. Toss them in a deep pan with boiling water and leave for about 10 minutes, you will know it is ready when it releases the aromas and the water turns and orange/red color. You may sweeten with honey according to your taste preferences. I also recommend, when you serve it in a tea or glass cup, to add halve or maybe an entire squeezed lemon juice, depends on the portions. I have been a very allergic person all my life, and since routinely drinking this tea, which I brew in large quantities and store in the fridge, I have never had any allergies, works like magic. Hope you try and like it.
On the knee raises try adding a weighted ball (medicine ball) and hold the raised position for a 2 or 3 count. Work up to 8 reps. After that, increase the weight of the ball for 5 reps. Again, work up to 8 reps.
Whoever is complaining that you're talking too much or your videos are too long - they don't deserve you and you shouldn't cater to them. There are so many fitness channels who are unecessarily long, but your videos were always perfect. Going even shorter just shows that humanity is going dumb and having even less of an attention span. Not sure if we should advocate/help this trend by complying, because wisdom is key and you can't teach anyone anything if time is more important than the topic and the will to learn itself.
After discovering this weak point in my program, I started doing the standing leg raise, weightless, once per week. I am very humbled to admit that no weight at all was "too much weight", at least for the rep range and intensity I was targeting. I think the lying leg raise is probably what I'll switch to, seeing as the "top" of the rep places less tension on the hip flexors than it does in standing leg raises. Thanks Eugene!
