Maria was very beautiful, of course... but what I think most people don't pay enough attention to is how beautiful she was inside. It is a shame that she burned her diary, but from the records which still exist she was an amazing human being. She was warm, loving and selfless; she always put her loved ones before herself and she showed compassion to everyone. I wish I could have met her.
