    The S23 gets more addictive every day. Love how I'm able to wrap my whole hand around it. It's very convenient to hold and plenty big enough to see.

    The compact yet powerful phones are always my favorites and it's great to see the Galaxy S23 bring the much-needed improvement in performance and battery life compared to the S22. I guess this is the new compact phone to beat. Great review, as always.

      Tried playing games on my friend’s s23 and the fps is dropping like shit and the phone overheats whiting 15-20 mins . My friend has been using the device for a month and the performance has already started to slow down , it takes time to open heavy applications and opening multiple apps overheats the phone.

    You still call this your "weird little format" -- I find your "day in the life" reviews the absolute MOST HELPFUL in determining whether I want to upgrade to an S23 or a Pixel & (or even 8) series, from my abysmal Pixel 6 Pro. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for continuing to do this kind of review and comparison between phones. I can't tell you how useful it is!!!

    I just switched from Poco X6 Pro to Galaxy S23 as I was getting a very good deal online and even though S23 is a way better smartphone than Poco X6 Pro can ever be, one thing that bothers me a lot is the occasional scrolling lag (not severe though) on One UI. It's probably because I was using a fixed 120hz refresh rate on Poco X6 Pro for a long time whereas the adaptive refresh rate on S23 fluctuates between 60hz to 120hz so the tiny lags/stutters here and there is noticeable for me.

    Hello from Italy !!! I follow you for a long time and many times before buying something technological , example smartphone or computer , I watch your videos . I like the way you "tell" your personal experience with the devices you try , besides I really like the fact that you take to discover new places . - That I nostalgically remember when I took intensive language courses in the summer .- Anyway back to us and the Samsung S23 "basic" , sincerely I find it a well-executed product , let's say Samsung is somewhat following Apple's strategy . Improving their models every year , limaning their flaws , problems to arrive at something "new" . But on this round I feel to promote more a pixel 7 , compared to the s23 which is still an excellent smartphone if it were not for a small detail . The price is quite high and honestly the upgrades it received do not justify the expense . S23 ultra on the other hand fits , especially for the same processor that the entire top range of this year is equipped with . But the ultra is another planet , designed more for creators & businessmen , than normal people . In my opinion Pixel 7 -7pro both in 2022 and this 2023 are the ones to be considered , shortly then pixel 7a should also arrive .... So again, my thought 2022/23 on the android range Pixel will stand out in purchase order for many users .

    As an iphone 8 plus user, I dare say the battery life should be incredible once I put my hands on my s23 one of these days 😅 incredible review!!

    I've never seen my screen get down to 1hz refresh ever. Even on just a static screen mine goes to 24hz

      For android you have to enable high quality upload settings for IG to upload higher quality videos from the camera.

    What will be better for vlogging s23 or pixel 7 pro?

  • @stripmallp
    @stripmallp Рік тому +1

    You forgot to mention that the Pixel 7 Pro is huge compared to this phone. The reason people are into the S23 is its small size and mostly uncompromised specs.

    I actually switched from the pixel 7pro to the s23 (small one). I couldn't stand how large the 7pro was and I really didn't like the pixel UX experience coming from a s21. The pixel camera is better but my daily use needs are fulfilled better by the s23 than the 7pro.

    Will it be worth upgrading it to s23 from z flip 3. I only suffer on battery life on my z flip 3.

      @AakarshanB Рік тому +1

      I have a z flip 4 and also the s23. S23 is much much better in display, performance and cameras. So yes worth upgrading.
      Z flip has its wow factor and is a great phone too!

    More developers should write apps with DEX in mind. This phone is more powerful than a desktop intel i7 a few years ago and insanely more powerful than all the Macs used to make the film Gladiator. Its so capable and not used - you just get other UA-camrs doing stupid app opining speed "tests"
