Beautiful planes and the location looks perfect for this type of slope flying.

Beautiful location to fly from or better yet, live.
Hi Tom, I enjoyed the last video the most since that was my favorite thing to do, keeping the plane close to the slope, when I had it all to myself, and bringing it so close the wind would blow my hair around when it didn't slam into me !
At the time my Wife and I had moved to Costa Mesa so I could go to slopes above the Santa Ana River bed to fly when I got home from work, her idea by the way - that was in '76 and we are still together, Need I say, Best Wife Ever, (!?).
Tom, I doubt you will remember me, but I worked part time at 'Hobby Shack' in Fountain valley and was the person who suggested strengthening the fuselage sides on the QB2500 just below the T.E. where the cut out resulted in a weak spot and would break when landed too hard; I also suggested beefing up the spar box and central rod in order to strengthen the wings.
I still have two QB2500's (flying) and three more in boxes, as well as most of the gliders which O.K. MODELS offered during the 70's with the QB2500 and the Beaver being my favorites - which brings me to question - is possible to still obtain a set of prints for the Beaver as mine was cut in half by a fiberglass super ship and after I pieced it back together I hung it from the ceiling in my shop, and would really like to build a couple of more to fly where I now live, in the hills above Moreno Valley in Riverside l, CA.
I am pleased to see you are still flying and enjoying yourself.

In '95, we had a fire at our factory and lost everything. There is nothing left from old times.
