I'm glad he got more voicelines for monsters this time around, but I wish it had been more for cards like Archfiends and less random monsters like Insect Queen. Still, it's nice he has lines for all the new Occult support and I LOVE he has voicelines for the Outer Entity Xyzs. :D

I'm still disappointed Aigami and Sera don't since Links gave them XYZ archetypes like Evilswarm and Constellar.

Also love that he has a voice line for High Priestess/Lady of Faith! P.D: I find it amazing that he loves the Cthullu cards, though I hope he has an animation with Curse Necrofear (he doesn't have the Dark Necrofear one) and not just the Outer Entities.

if i recall correctly, azathot was only OP in the ocg/tcg cause of a spell card that let u xyz summon it on the opponents turn. so if they dont ever release the spell card i think we might see it soon
Love the video. It's great that Bakura will have a line involving Curse Necrofear, but I wished he had a line for Diabound Kernal. This definitely made me more encouraged to hope for the day when Konami makes the advanced version of Diabound with both his evolution stages & ability to steal other monsters' abilities!
Great to finally have DSOD Bakura in Duel Links. Nice to have the hero variant of him at last, and the new voice lines for Yami Bakura are great as well. Ted Lewis did a great job as Bakura again. I was a bit taken aback that DSOD Bakura sounds a bit close to Yami Bakura. As far as the voice being deeper than hero Bakura has been before anyway, without him sounding evil though. I still think Lewis did a great job. The decision to give DSOD Bakura that deeper voice and less of an accent might've been a director choice. Hero Bakura never dueled in the anime or manga so the voice Lewis has given hero Bakura before might not have worked as well when recording DSOD Bakura duel dialogue and then the YGO crew might've wanted to change it and work on something they found worked better for Bakura duel dialogue. Just a thought. I mean, Lewis only reprised Bakura for DSOD a few years ago and he did a perfect job there replicating how he sounded in the original series. I think it's entirely possible the crew decided DSOD Bakura needed to sound different in DL to have a voice that worked better with duel dialogue. Who knows? Maybe it was a deliberate choice to have DSOD Bakura sound like the avid gamer he's supposed to be. lol Regardless, I think Lewis did a great job. Just was a bit taken aback at the deeper voice for DSOD Bakura but I still think he did great.
Ik the the point of DSOD Bakura is he is free from the control of the millennium ring but I think this would of been a great opportunity to have too have his Yami Bakura as a character skin option because there way too many Jaden in GX you double click on Jaden you have the option between first Day of School Jaden, Supreme King Jaden, Jaden Yubel.
Bakura reminds me so much of Will from Stranger Things. He spent so much of his child to trapped and possessed, now all he wants to do is play RPGs with his friends lol

Coming back here two months later to say that Change of Heart is now limited instead of banned in the TCG! I point this out since HOPEFULLY, he’ll get a good skill related to that card later down the line, and the likeliness of that increased a TINY bit, just a weensy bit…probably won’t ever happen, but a girl can dream.

I like the Dub as much as the Sub. I grew up with this version and I'm used to hearing Bakura in a British accent. I also love knowing the Sub is pretty much Ash in Japanese with a liking to occult cards and a psychotic dark side.

I like the Dub as much as the Sub. I grew up with this version and I'm used to hearing Bakura in a British accent. I also love knowing the Sub is pretty much Ash in Japanese with a liking to occult cards and a psychotic dark side.
