- 2024 NBA Free Agency begins on Sunday, June 30th at 6p ET. The Miami Heat got clarity on Caleb Martin, Kevin Love, and Thomas Bryant as all three players declined their player option for the 2024-25 NBA Season. The Heat are currently $1.4 MM over the first apron of the NBA Luxury Tax and can’t spend more than $9.3 MM before crossing the second apron. Heat president Pat Riley and coach Erik Speosltra will have to be articulate with the way the Heat front office improves this Miami Heat roster. Lauri would be first on my wish list followed by Donovan and BI. I know many would like Tre but I'm not a fan. On the more realistic side I'd be fine with Sexton & John Colins or Cam Johnson & DFS.
