You know, the meaning of the English word "OK" is one of those common words which are never well explained to us non-English-speaking when we learn English. We tend to think that "that's OK" means "that's great, that's good" but it really means "well, not bad but not great either". I bet the poor interviewer didn't know that.
She's human, she gets impatient, she travels around a lot during promotions and gets up early in the morning. She may have had X or Y going on in her body that didn't help her temperament. She's allowed her off days.

I find ithe whole interview a big display of language barriers they BOTH are suffering there. that's all there is to it all. .

I constantly get the feeling that too many people just don't get her way of teasing or joking with people. That is why some say she was not nice to him. I think some people also do not realize how many times popular people are asked the same or similar questions and may try to lighten things up by teasing a bit. Any way I found it an interesting and nice interview.

The interviewer was uncomfortable and Madonna as always very confident but though she was not enjoying this interview she was co-operative to him and answered the questions patiently.

I think what happen was that Madonna always likes a challenge when being interviewed by anybody otherwise it is boring and it doesn't go anywhere and if anyone is gonna interview Madonna or any super star they need to come up with really good questions to keep the superstars interested

i like madonna in interviews. i think she is at her best. she is respectful and answers thoughtfully. only exception is late night talk show interviews where she acts incredibly annoyingly and is most unappealing. it's not the good side like she is here
I think what happen was that Madonna always likes a challenge when being interviewed by anybody otherwise it is boring and it doesn't go anywhere and if anyone is gonna interview Madonna or any super star they need to come up with really good questions to keep the superstars interested

She is not very tolerant of people whose English is not as good. She takes everything the wrong way.....she is enjoying making him feel inadequate in some way. She may be tired of interviews where she is asked similar questions...I think.
I don't think Madonna wanted to look rude and I think she,wanted to be polite, but there's no need to attack that Man, I could feel he was pretty scared

I would be nervous interviewing her too but thats his job and he seems way too nervous like a child lol.
Am I always nice to people? No. But I am ALWAYS nice to people who are being nice to me. And I certainly wouln´t inflict such stress and embarassement to a person who was obviously nervous and trying to flatter me.
One thing is to be a great artist and another is to be a great person. She's one of these, no doubt.
She changed the music scene. But she's not exactly about to change the world by being a great example of humanity and compassion..

poor thing, I've always asked myself "what would I ask Madge if i had the chance?". Out of he's weak questions she sad very wise things.
he's nervous and with a language barrier, I'd blame the network for not choosing the right interviewer for such a strong woman. Love her.
Not to mention the fact that they misspelled Madonna.
He is such a sweet heart, he shouldn't be afraid to say eff off even to his idol.

Madonna's never hidden her feelings about her likes and dislikes. Too bad the interviewer got into her bad books almost from the word go. Kudos to him tho for keeping his cool and smiling throughout the whole interview as if everything really was ok.

The interviewer's english was fine. He was just nervous for being with her, and the interview didn't feel natural. It seemed that he just wanted her to answer the questions.
"Did that answer your question?"
"Yeah, yeah it's ok"
If somebody told me that, I would be pissed and not taken seriously... She was ready to leave and thought 'well, it doesn't matter with him if we talk about serious issues or if we talk about clothes'
I don't blame her, and to be honest, she was very patient with him.
