Agree with Liam also the price for a match ticket against a newly promoted team (47 pound) is shocking. Plus having to pay to stream friendlies when fans have already bought season tickets, memberships, 80 pound kits, leads to the overwhelming feeling that the hierarchy at Newcastle like all clubs just see their fans as cash cows sadly. Football being for the working class hasn't been the case for a long time.
That's why I wouldn't over spend on football. Stick to the basics. Wear your old tops for longer and watch the games on TV and maybe go to the odd in stadium game. Its just a rip off otherwise, right down to the meat pies

I wouldn’t want a big name in a friendly match. That’s what makes the CL so exciting, you play teams that you wouldn’t normally play. If you start playing them in friendlys every season, it dilutes the excitement of the champions league.

Hi guys just a couple of points 1. Sela weekend great for me and my wife as members travelling from Wakefield and we get to spend weekend in Newcastle for £15 pp in platinum club I think is not bad value and also ensures we will get to see some games 2. The price of tickets in general is what it is and NUFC are trying to play catch up with so called big 6 and that means generating more revenue per seat , just a fact of life 3. Entered ballot for Southampton unfortunately not successful but fingers crossed for next time ( was successful twice last year) so justified cost of membership for us. 4. As regards Anderson and Minteh we can argue rights or wrongs all day long but top and bottom of it they’ve gone and we move on. I don’t think constantly bringing it up is beneficial for anyone! Just my thoughts, as usual guys look forward to your next report and hopefully some news of some proper signings 🤞

Yeah, I was surprised the friendlies cost money for members. The memberships were kind of sold as having online "access to the friendlies". "Access" via credit card, I guess. It would've been cheaper (and wiser) to NOT get the useless membership and just purchase the non-member friendlies package. Anyhow, let's go defend our Sela Cup! 🤣

The flow same pace to not leave a ASM type stranded over running the mates and loosing heart. Sandro and Bruno plying the same role at their last clubs the manager will have it set up if everyone stays healthy long enough
I think if we look at the last transfer window with zero incomings and this transfer window where to date very little improvement to the first 11 has been made ( although if Kelly can maintain his fitness he could be a first team regular) we desperately need at least a couple of top incomings to show us that the commitment to the project is still there. I hope it is but talk is cheap and we need to see difference makers. Because you can talk ifs buts and maybes but we finished 7th last year nit 4th and did not challenge the top 4. Big year this year for the club

Sorry can't agree with your opinion I have seen all Minteh games and he was class and I really do hope he does good and it's not hindsight I have said at every opportunity that it's a big mistake to sell him without even giving him a single game for us it made no sense look at the dead wood still at the club and if Eddie Howe doesn't like the lad because the other bloke got him in it's embarrassing and maybe he can play Ryan Fraser on the wing and I will smile every time that lad scores or sets a goal up for Brighton didn't even have a right to buy back or sell on fee I don't think another premier league club would do that??? Everyone going on about that Italian getting back from his ban is like being a new player??? From my memory of him playing before his ban I didn't think he was much good and I'm sure Eddie had stopped playing him and used his as a late sub I did support Eddie and give him the benefit of another year if we beat Sunderland in the cup so I won't go back on it since we won but the transfer of that young lad has really pushed my patience and Eddie has no credit left in the bank
When it's a choice between a largely unproven player and a potential points deduction, it's a no brainer really. A shame of course but Newcastle had to play the game in this instance. - D

If PSR wasn't an issue there would be no real upwards pressure on ticket prices amongst other things...
