Dear Marian, I am just recovering from the Covid-19 virus! It was so horrible that my family called a medical team to my house to transfer me to hospital, they did checks at my doorstep, and noted that in addition to the virus symptoms , I also had a lung infection. The situation was not good but I begged them to let me stay home just a little longer but promised if my condition got any worse they could take me to hospital, they agreed. I played this video EVERYDAY...and was so blessed not only by the quality of your voice , but the sense of God’s anointing upon you. Just into the new year, I was involved in two car incidents when drivers crashed into my car.These happened within one week of each other and on BOTH occasions, the drivers fled the scene! I checked my car and realised that inspite of the impacts my vehicle had suffered minimal damage. I told the church that I believe God would say to us that even though we get hit by things beyond our control, he would preserve us through it - not always from it..! - and we would experience 'minimal damage'... then the virus hit us!! This revelation of God's provision and protection, kept my faith in place during some very difficult days, because "better days were coming". Your singing was such a blessing for my journey, and in 1 Samuel 18:23, when David ministered in music before King Saul, the text says that Saul was refreshed, healed and delivered from an evil spirit. THIS SAME anointing rest on you sis, and it's a gift! However, BE VERY AWARE that the anointing does not automatically make you holy, just capable ....it's your obedience that keeps you holy. We have lost so many gifted musicians and singers to sexual compromise, damaging relationships, financial seduction, and the pursuit of fame...please , please stay focussed, and don't resent or resist, the season of obscurity. I come back to this often. I am a brain tumor survivor and a single mom. My son was only 6 when I was diagnosed. My daddy died not long after and my mom was murdered when I was 10 years old. Dear Marian, I am just recovering from the Covid-19 virus! It was so horrible that my family called a medical team to my house to transfer me to hospital, they did checks at my doorstep, and noted that in addition to the virus symptoms , I also had a lung infection. The situation was not good but I begged them to let me stay home just a little longer but promised if my condition got any worse they could take me to hospital, they agreed. I played this video EVERYDAY...and was so blessed not only by the quality of your voice , but the sense of God’s anointing upon you. I am happy to report my healing and recovery and just had to let you know that your singing has been part of my story...thank you so much. My health continues to improve , much to the relief of both my family and church, and I just continue to give God all the praise. Can I share another testimony with you? Just into the new year, I was involved in two car incidents when drivers crashed into my car.These happened within one week of each other and on BOTH occasions, the drivers fled the scene! I checked my car and realised that inspite of the impacts my vehicle had suffered minimal damage. I told the church that I believe God would say to us that even though we get hit by things beyond our control, he would preserve us through it - not always from it..! - and we would experience 'minimal damage'... then the virus hit us!! This revelation of God's provision and protection, kept my faith in place during some very difficult days, because "better days were coming". Your singing was such a blessing for my journey, and in 1 Samuel 18:23, when David ministered in music before King Saul, the text says that Saul was refreshed, healed and delivered from an evil spirit. THIS SAME anointing rest on you sis, and it's a gift! However, BE VERY AWARE that the anointing does not automatically make you holy, just capable ....it's your obedience that keeps you holy. We have lost so many gifted musicians and singers to sexual compromise, damaging relationships, financial seduction, and the pursuit of fame...please , please stay focussed, and don't resent or resist, the season of obscurity. In the text, before playing before the King, David had not been highly profiled, and even his family forgot to introduce him to the visiting prophet..but God knew, 'better days were coming'! Marian, sing to see people 'refreshed, healed and delivered' and watch God open doors that put you in the public eye and on significant platforms , just remember where you came from, and who you serve. Be prayerful and discerning because NOT EVERY OPEN-DOOR IS A GOD GIVEN OPPORTUNITY.... IT MAY BE A TRAP-DOOR!
