Hi y'all, 2 years ago I couldn't make a bow to save my life. I would get sooo frustrated and I would just cry. 2 years later its my favorite thing to do. Hello I'm James from Dallas Texas I've been making bows since my grandmother taught me as a young kid I am now 69 and I still love it even though I'm crippled up a little bit with neuropathy and a little bit of arthritis I still love making them I'm trying the different types of bow makers they're okay but I still prefer my own but a little thing I do when I dovetail Chevron fishtail slant cut whatever I use pinking shears it seems to give it a much even more professional look some people don't know what I mean by pinking shears so look it up❤

I’m watching on replay from Mississippi. I’ve made just a few bows but didn’t really feel that I understood exactly what I was doing. Thanks so much for doing this video and explaining how to do the different types of bows and also what each type is used for!! I am saving this video to refer to each time I make one! I appreciate it so much!! I just bought a Bow-Dabra and can’t wait to try it! I had an EZ bow maker but could never get the dowels to stay in place, so I gave up on it!!

Hello!!! Up late watching replays over in Georgia!!! I have both the Bowdabra and the Bow Genius love the Bow Genius but somebody placed it in a tote for storage 🫤 so instead of looking for it I just ordered a new one and finally received the Bowdabra so I'm still learning it.
Thanks for sharing the Bow making tutorials, i have learned a lot from both of you and will keep on practicing . First time watching your video and its interesting 👍🏽❤ although its 3 months after posted.

I’m watching a rerun. It’s July 28th, 2024. I made the bow and while I was fluffing one of the ribbons pulled out. I was using the String that Bowdabra supplied in box. I know I need strong wire now. Is there a way to fix this or do (should) start again with stronger wire?
We use a 26 gauge floral wire and when you take it out of the Bowdabra you want to make sure you pull your wire really tight so that doesn’t happen. If it happens again, you don’t have to start all the way over. Just add an extra piece of wire around it and it should hold fine. I need to do a video showing what to do if that happens.

We get our boxes from Amazon. We typically ship FedEx or USPS. Whichever is least expensive.
