What I like the most about watching your videos is that they capture the spirit of average everyday Germany. Everything in Germany serves the same purpose as things in Canada, but there are a thousand little reminders down every street, from the difference in how hours are built to the arrangement of roads, to the use of public spaces, that I am seeing a culture that is similar, but different in many small ways. This difference is rally magnified away from large cities. I've been to Frankfurt, and it is about the same size and not much different from my city, or indeed from London, Toronto, or Chicago. Large cities are all the same now all over the world. The real expression of difference is seen best in everyday Canada compared to everyday Germany, or everyday anywhere else.
