I honestly didn't expect this game's energy to line up so well with Tamto's unhinged toxic detective persona, but by the end it felt like Tamto was an only-slightly-more-deranged version of the Duck Detective. The whole bread monologue at the beginning should've clued me in, it was basically the equivalent of one of Tomato's crazy intro ramblings... Honestly, if he wasn't already a frog, I reckon he'd make a great duck.
I love how by the end so many people who play this game are just like "fuck it, arrest them all I don't give a shit no more". I really hope there's a sequel!
YES, holy shit. I was gonna comment on how the soundtrack had a whole 'off-brand Detective Conan' vibe - "Case Closed" for all you american folks out there - the songs are very evocative of classic Conan OST melodies & leitmotifs, like they're constantly starting to play one and switch halfway through.
