I am 14 and you just proved to me, that anyone can do anything, this is my next plan, I will TOTALLY do this. This is amazing!! Your work distracts me from bad things!! Thank you soo much !! I love you and your work!! -Rafia
Fia Cerulli Did you did it? I'm planning on making this dress for my daughters barbie for her 14yrs old birthday present. She loves this kind of projects.
I watched part 1 and 2 a week ago and then I went out and got a couple of dolls and I made a few short dresses that turned out quite nice so now my next dress will be something like your dress (Wedding Dress) I have already made the bodice I am just looking around for some nice laces then I will go ahead with finishing it, I am so happy with your tutorials they have shown me quite a lot and given me another hobby that I love doing. Thank You
Your step by step instructional videos have been inspirational to watch and yet again I'd like to thank you for sharing your talents. I look forward to seeing your finished creation and most excited to go shopping for some tulle and lace tomorrow to complete my own. ( I already have images of maybe 3 or 4 on little wire hangers inside a homemade Armoire :-) ....thanks for the inspiration!
Jeanette, Jeanette, Jeanette -- I hope I spelled your name correctly !!! I just read the comment below from Fia Cerulli, who is 14 and you have inspired her to do art -- it doesn't get better than that !!! I have been making these little dresses for several years -- that and Fiona's lace flowers where you just do the running stitch -- that was the extent of my crafting, then I discovered napkin decoupage -- but your construction of this is brilliant -- it never occurred to me 1) -- to add gauze as a strengthening agent to the bodice, 2) to leave the back opened -- I always glued that back immediately after cutting; 3) to insert the skirt into the bodice; and finally 4) to use folded paper to act as a petticoat -- I haven't made one in a really long time. I was out in the garage yesterday digging around in boxes from when we moved -- 2 yrs. ago -- I found a stash of bodices -- but I got a little burned out on making them -- I'm going to give your method a go -- I think these would make beautiful angels for Christmas -- or any time, really -- but wouldn't that be gorgeous with red, green, blue, gold, etc. velvet to cover the bodice, and then coordinating skirt lace -- I'm almost finished with the initial pages on my gypsy book, but was a little stuck, so I rewatched several of your pages, and Roseann's -- Roxycar -- plus, I just love the music -- so when i turned on the TV this AM, it auto-populated to your channel, and I'm so glad it did. For me, that's one of the greatest gifts of coming late to the party, as it were -- there's this huge backlog of projects and tutorials -- it's like being in crafting heaven !!! I hope you and your family are well -- Patricia
1stly - YOU are a brilliant tutor/demonstrator!! You must have the patience of a saint - all the 'getting it just so' with the concertina ppr & then tuille & lace?? Amazing! I would love to try this one day, when u mentioned about 'fairy', immediately my mind was making wings... You really are so inspiring & generous with yr time putting all the videos together! THANK YOU very much! Oh & yes, wouldn't it b great if we could smooth out our own bodies?? Lol. Take care. C :))
Thank you so much for your lovely comment, it's wonderful to hear that I may have inspired someone :) I tell you now, I would need a whole lot of glue to smooth this body out, lol ;) Have a lovely day
This is the first time I've seen your work and I was so impressed. I loved listening to your lovely voice describe step by step and I was so enthralled I didn't worry about the filming ... Please please please continue with tutorials!!!!!!! Thank you for sharing your talents with us. I can't wait to watch more of your videos.
She has a lovely voice and step by step is the best. I'm planning on doing this for my daughter's 14birthday for her barbie doll that she has since she is 5yrs old.
100% stunning, I didn't think you could improve on the other one but this with the paper bustle on the back is gorgeous...even before it's been embellished, you are a true artist and designer who is very generous to share and teach us all...I just love it...TFS...Ann...x
I have just watched both of the tutorials and they are great, I run a craft group for unpaid carers on the Wirral (England) and this is definitely one to show them how to make these gorgeous dresses, and the bodice making is amazing - so off to the shops to buy couple of dolls and old books 👍👍👍🥰

There are always those losers out there who want something for free but then want to complain that the free how to is not up to their arrogant standards...first off NO one made you watch this how to and no one cares if it made you sleepy or not, in addition no one cares about your opinion saying its so much badly filmed...we could say you don't quite know how to speak proper language!! For the complainers hit the back button head down the road where all the other losers reside! So tired of people who always want to be rude to such a sweet person who takes their TIME and ENERGY as we as THEIR EXPERTISE to share how to do a certain project and they show NO appreciation....WOW sooo sickening these types of people who do this to such sweet people!! Thank you very much for sharing so much of your time and showing ALL the details for those of us out here who appreciate seeing ALL the little details which makes all the difference in learning something from video!! Don't let the complainers discourage you....your how to is FANTASTIC!!
It's all good, I'm still in the learning process when it comes to tutorials so I know they are not the best out there :) Thank you for stopping by and watching :)
You are very welcome Wendy and I'm so happy you like it, I had quite a few requests for a tutorial. I'm looking forward to seeing your video :) hugs xx

I absolutely love this dress! I am going to try doing one tomorrow or the day after. But I have one question. Can you make it stand on a table? I mean, can you add a suport to it, insert it inside or something? If I do it and it turns out nice, I want to be able to place it on my desk :) Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful tutorial!
This is just so pretty and thank you for the tutorial, I recently bought a barbie doll at a car boot sale so hopefully in the near future I can have a go at this, TFS Hugs Jackie x
