Today makes a year since Private Practice has ended. PP, you will always be remembered and missed by your fans and you will always have a special place in our hearts. You were and still are my favourite show and I, like many others, miss you terribly. You will always live through the fan videos, fanfiction, photo galleris, etc. We will never let you die. Good bye PP
@@sarawingle7904 I understand that. But, people often have abortions if they don’t want to be parents, and Charlotte clearly doesn’t want to have more kids. I’m just wondering if her decision is influenced by religion.
@@DeepikaGinger I think it definitely could've been but I also think that her decision could've also had to do with the fact that Cooper wanted more kids and so it was really difficult for her to justify having an abortion you know?
@@sarawingle7904 Yeah, that makes sense. I wish they’d maybe gone into a little more detail about her reasoning. I guess we can conclude, like you said, that she’s pro-choice, but doesn’t think she can justify to herself having an abortion if she can afford to take care of a baby, which is a perfectly valid stance on its own.
@@DeepikaGinger I don't remember them mentioning anything about religion in the show. As the person stated, Charlotte cannot justify having an abortion DESPITE not wanting more kids, as she had the resources. That's not a pro-life stance, as it implies that she would have had an abortion if she did not have the resources. When Charlotte was told that she should consider abortion as she was pregnant with triplets, and having several kids was affecting her health, she said no., because she didn't like the idea of randomly selecting which fetus should be aborted. So it was not the abortion itself that bothered her, it was just the circumstances. The only openly pro-life character on the show was Naomi!

Why does Charlotte feel like she doesn’t have options? Is it for religious reasons?
She said because she has the resources she can’t justify terminating
